I have to agree with the criticism that we shouldn't need to join your discord for the DIM link. Either post it or I click on the content of someone else who does.

@four321zero let's address that for a second: for most build videos on RU-vid, you watch the suggested build, if you like it, you click the description, the DIM link is there, you save, and you're good to go. With this guy's discord approach: you tap the discord link, you accept his invite, now you're in a sea of tabs, mixed in with your existing discord stuff and other geniuses who also had the same idea of hiding DIM links behind the discord wall, the channel sections are not properly labeled, you spend time unnecessarily looking for the DIM link, frustration ensues, and the experience is ruined. Isn't it enough that I watched and liked the video? Why ruin the user experience? That doesn't make me want to subscribe to the channel, it makes me want to steer clear. Question: have you actually gone and checked his discord? Nothing is properly labeled. You can't find the builds link.

@@mustain21 I agree it is a little inconvenient but he's got to do what he's got to do to build his community. I am not a big discord user so I just scanned through the video a second time and copied the fragments and he has a screenshot showing his mods. My other choice would have been to search again for a similar video but just scrubbing back to diff sections of this video works better for me. All in all, i got a fun build from him, for a really small amount of effort from me

@@mustain21 It literally says ‘dim links’ as a tab. Can’t help the helpless mate. Nowadays people want everything absolutely served on a platter. I’m trying to build a community, and if this one little thing is an inconvenience then watch the video and build the normal way. Or frankly, don’t watch my videos, I’m not too bothered. But either way, it’s on you if you can’t see a tab clearly labelled ‘dim links’

For the 10 recovery stat! I didn’t find a 4th fragment that useful for the build itself so went for something that gave stats instead

Imagine a person trying to increase their engagement to become more successful. He’s literally doing what he has to do to increase and reach more people with his content. If you don’t like the way he does it make your own videos and provide the DIM link in the description. Otherwise move on, you don’t have to be hateful to someone that’s literally helping the community when they don’t have to. But that’s ok, you’re negative comment helps the algorithm to reach a bigger audience as well, so for that thank you, you’ve helped him out lol.

Requiring viewers to join his discord to view a simple DIM link lets everyone know he lacks confidence & does not believe in himself to get discord members in a way that doesn't feel so sleazy & cheap!
