@@yvescrepeau5955 I was told I’d need to wait 2 years to get a rav4 hybrid in Ottawa😂. Couldn’t be happier with my new Crv hybrid, the powertrain is so smooth and quiet and I only had to wait a month!
@@griff5o723 Indeed it is I had to wait three to four months but the buld came in a bit earlier. Very happy except for one thing that pedestrian alert system noise is annoying I wonder if there is anyway to disable it in settings somewhere or else cut the cable but then you void the warranty so dont want to do that. Just took her for a spin and averaged 5.2 with using regen for an SUV thats excellent
I own exactly the same trim 2023 CR-V as on this video, got mine among the first one's back in December 2022, and I got to say, that current Honda built quality has disappointed me. Paint coating of the inside portions of the doors is so poor, that I got corrosion in 4 months old car! This is unacceptable! Went to my local dealership to claim the warranty repairs. While they were fixing it, I've been curious and went on their lot to check a few brand new CR-V's for the same area, and unfortunately, same poor coating and uneven gaps on the hood/fenders area, the lift gate and side panels as well! And lastly, what the service department manager told me about those findings, shocked me! His words exactly " It's okay for the mass production vehicles" Previously, I had spent hours on the phone with the American Honda call center about this issue trying to get someone in the quality control management, but unfortunately they've said that there is no such one, so that's probably why Honda manufacturing going down in the quality I guess? So sad experience. Beware, and check on those things at the time of purchase!
Am in UK have a CRV Hybrid EX AWD. Funny how the spec changes in regions as mine has a HUD, Pam Sunroof, folding mirrors full LED all the things this model is missing anyway am getting 45.1 MPG around town and 50 plus on motorway just need to make use of the re-gen braking paddles and they help it’s a great car all round am loving it. Have been over Into Europe in it and it’s effortless on the motorway with all the safety turned on it’s hard to beat was tempted by the Rav 4 just thought the CRV was better only my opinion . Great reviews really enjoy them.

Good review, finally a reviewer that understands the hybrid set up. It has no cvt! . The safety is impressive - rear seat airbags, improved body structure gives it a iihs top safety pick plus.
I love everyone “hating” on the CRV!!! Two of the most respected automotive expert publications, called this the #1 compact SUV of 2023! Complaining about lack of pano sunroof, ventilated seats, power folding mirrors, no fog lights. I looked at the 3 “next best competitors”, and to get all the things I just mentioned (along with what the CRV already offers…) and you’re looking at spending $4k-$7k MORE than the loaded Sports Touring! So go somewhere else, buy your “better” SUV, and I’ll keep 5 grand in my pocket for one of Car & Drivers 10 Best Vehicles of the year!😂👍

It's amazing how many reviewers don't notice. Just trying to look "sporty"! I guess since they don't notice then the electric motor's torque is doing the job.
It just looks like that on camera. led lights work by flickering on and off so fast that you can’t see it to control the brightness, and the camera picks it up. They do not flicker at all in real life.
The pricing in Canada went crazy. CAD$48,900 for the only hybrid trim (Touring Hybrid). Except for Honda diehards it will be a hard sell against the likes of the Kia Sportage SX Hybrid for $5k less.
This is just not true. I test drove the Crv touring and the ride isn't as smooth as the kia sportage hybrid sx prestige. I went with kia. If you need comfort and smooth ride the suspension on the kia is better than the crv.
