I have grown to enjoy your videos, well done I watch them all now.Being English but residing in the land of Oz ,when back in the country my wife and I enjoy stopping at the breakfast vans in lay byes, have you ever or could you do a food review visiting A VAN AND ORDERING one.Egg and Bacon butty with a mug of tea brings wonderful memories.
Only thing is, that is nowhere near proper Indian food 😂 it’s more for the western palate, you def won’t see many Indians or Asians rushing there to get a curry fix ! Mainly for tourists and the theatre crowds only.
That looks unbelievably delicious!! Can one person eat all that?? I’m having lamb for dinner today and as lovely as it is there’ll never be a comparison. Oh yummy!
I think everyone who loves an Indian has their very favourite ‘go to’ one! And Paro is one of those. All looked incredible! Great vid DJ! Til the next one! 🥘🍚💜🍽️
Each time you return to PARO ,they open the gateway to taste 😊 As Niyaz proves, old chef's can learn new tricks. ❤ The lamb shank😊i would sell my soul for.And I'm not a spicey eater😮😮It's look alone 😊 just pass me a spoon, no need for knives or forks 😊 ( re the other table and as it appears " ladies who lunch ") really want to hear more of that ,it's a music of happiness and joy of good company and excellent food. Know if can be annoying when working 😮 i don't mind.Never really think of duck in Indian food, but looked good. The price not bad for central London ( and a discount bargain) so its PAROdice on a plate 😢🙏 sorry wot a rotten pun.next time Darren 😊Allan&Family
£21.95 for a lamb shank with that much flavour and its falls apart like that? Fantastic value in these times. For some people they could share that as well
Do you have to Darren? I am salivating like Pavlov's dog now!! It all looked fabulous, but the lamb shank! OMG! Niyaz has hit the nail on the head at Paro!
That meal looked absolutely fantastic. The mixture of meats and spices so tasty. Your face said it Off the Charts. Great video. Thanks Darren will be sharing with my son in Australia.
Hi, great video. The masala duck looks lovely and the mushroom rice . if ever i go to a restaurant i always order Lamb . So i will definitely be going to Paro for the Lamb shank. Thanks 😊🥹
Off the Charts DJ. This was an Incredible video of Your Beautiful Indian Feast of Deliciousness on ones plate. I was very, very Impressed and it took my Breath away, when I saw your Special very Well Presented and Cooked to Perfection. I really liked seeing seeing Your Excellent Slow cooked Lamb Shank, This was Absolutely Top Quality Indian Food at it's Best. It has got to be Cocoa Cola and not Diet Coke. What an Incredible and Stunning Restaurant to have your meal at. The Hand painted walls were Just mind blowing. DJ, You must have felt like a King when You were in there. What a Feast you had. Glad you enjoyed your meal DJ.
What a veritable banquet! That food looked beautiful and so did the drink, the presentation and colours making it almost picturesque. Definitely up there on the food to make you smile list.
You can't beat a good Indian, Darren, and clearly that's what you got. You could tell by looking at it that it would be a treat. Haven't had Indian lamb shank but after seeing that I've added it to my list. Love all your videos, cheers.
Wow that lamb shank - we found Paro (and City Spice) through you and can’t thank you enough - just as well we’re back to London in a couple of weeks cos we NEED that lamb shank - and it’s on the pre theatre menu. Literally can’t wait 👍
Thank you ever so much for sharing your experiences of central London. I knew the price will surprise most of your viewers but 30 quid minimum is the normal. I assume DJ bill was over 50 quids
@Darren, I LOVE lamb shank and this has been my go to dish for a couple of years now. First time of trying it was at the Mala Kitchen, just down from Westferry DLR with a superb view from riverside across the Thames, LUSCIOUS doesn't begin to describe it: had it subsequently and it was just as awesome, if a tad spicy for my 70 yo tastebuds!!. I now use that level to discern the quality of the eatery: had it at the longstanding Dil Chad just off Liverpool St, no comparison tbh - it was just about ok but no better than that. But THIS one, is definitely on my list to try - and soon!! Great video, as always, matey!!!
Looked delicious, Darren. My mouth is watering just watching. Its a lot food, I dont know where you put it! Lol. Im just going to have an omelette with spinach and feta cheese.☹️ Rather have that lamb.😋👍
Dont you just think indian food is so tasty.i love it .that lamb looked delicious. The duck sounds amazing It all looked so good you cant beat spicy and hot . I am drooling watching you . X
I remember back in the early 80s being taken for a curry in Finniston Glasgow by my brother and cousin's they didn't look at the menu four lambs shank currys was a call mushroom rice Nan bread i looked at the menu they're was no lamb shank curry to be found pints of kingfisher arrived and lots of them best curry I've ever had i went back many times until it changed hands i understand the chef had a knife fight with the owner well all good things must come to an end
Wow, that is what I miss the most about London, I now live in Pembrokeshire , it is beautiful here. But you don't have a choice like you have in London. Love the vlogs Darren. Enjoy 😊.
Did that woman on the next table ever stop talking to draw breath? That shank looked outstanding as did everything else you enjoyed. Definitely OTC! JimN
I have seen this vid, I watched this the other night in the pub. Hoping to go to City Spice for my Birthday in a few weeks time, Darren do you still go there? Off for a curry tonight. I just hope its OTC like it's been other times that we have been. All the best DJ.
Hi Darren, I don’t think there is anything as nice as a good Indian meal for flavour, the lamb shank must have been so tasty it looked amazing and the No gin sling looked refreshing, not much difference in price to the rubbish breakfast you had
