my current wall paper is a picture of my dog win which she is biting my shoe off my foot with her tail in the air. whats great is apple made her tail clip over a piece of the time which looks amazing
@@tigermonster3198 He shot, edited and uploaded a video that shows him taking a screenshot instead of longpressing the image and saving it to the device. I am willing to bet an ungodly amount of money that he did not know that he could save an image from the browser at time of recording.
@@vernonalbayeros4719the reason he took a screen shot was to make the image the size of the screen not the set size. otherwise when you try and set your wall paper as it you won’t be able to center the lamp without cutting off 90 percent of the screen
@@cxmtu the screenshot resolution is the resolution of the screen, if you zoom it of course at the end the wallpaper have a lower resolution than the display, obviously a bad result
That is great! And my only issue was trying to find an image on Safari that wasn’t protected. Finally, and here’s a tip. When you go to the image on safari, if you click on most of them, it’ll make you go to another site and you can’t get a screenshot. So right while you’re in Safari, if you can zoom on the image and then screenshot it. and then you can continue as usual. Great job.
@@deadlybear92Or “Take a screenshot, use the screenshot” Same way as you would “take a mugshot” I get what you’re saying tho, alot of it makes no sense😂
Average Apple user IQ moment /j I do think that a side effect of Apple trying to make things simpler is that people become more tech illiterate. It has been proven that the newer generations often don't understand file systems, which can partly be traced back to phones not exposing the file system anymore and instead just give the "camera roll". And yes, the same is the case with Android, the files app and file picker default to a recents tab and have have tabs for the common folders like Downloads and Documents and for photos you just use the Photos or galary app. It could be reasonable for someone to indeed screenshot an image instead of saving it, considering how the files app was only added in 2017 and how Apple does this "Think different" thing, even though it isn't the best way. File sharing for example, Apple could've used USB C years ago and have really has file transfers at like 20 Gbps, you just plug your iPhone into your Mac or PC, confirm you want to tranfer files and browse the file system on the computer. Instead, Apple mad AirDrop, which is just figures out what way to transfer is the best between WiFi direct and Bluetooth. AirDrop isn't magic and is still bottlenecked by the speed of WiFi and Bluetooth, USB would still be faster.
Well, not only a street lamp. it works with any other wallpaper which has a dark background and a bright, light object or text. It the effect looks better with noise/grains
@@danielbradley908 yeah lol I don’t take a screenshot instead bc a screenshot will always be a lower resolution copy of the original. Best to save the original! 😂
Just a hint from my side: Another great wallpaper with a stunning light-effect would be "Light Pillars, a Million-Mirror Optical Illusion". Looks much better in my point of view & still has the transition
