This looks nice - similar to an antipasto salad I have made for years. I say that I have one objection to your video. You say to, "serve it with French bread." Blasphemy, sir! Italy has the best bread on the planet. Why not a nice Toscano or Ciabatta? Add a bottle of chianti and it is a meal made in heaven!

@@Weekendatthecottage - I debated the Focaccia, but in my mind, the textures of the other two sounded better with the salad and wine. Chewy and super crisp crust - perfetto! Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

Funny, was looking for a recipe and was thinking Prime Italian's in South Beach also! Are you sure they don't add some type of grated cheese to the dressing? It had a little gritty texture so not sure what that is?

Hi EJ N - thanks for watching and writing in. You're probably right, maybe a crumbled aged Parm? I'm thinking maybe I should work up an alternate dressing???

@@Weekendatthecottage any cheese is always good :) but i think this one just made the dressing have a little grit like texture and great flavor. You may be correct that it was a aged parm.
