우동, 스시 너무 좋아해요. 일본음식은 먼저 눈으로 먹고 그다음에 입으로 먹는다는 말이 있을정도로 정말 정갈하고 예뻐요. 정말 먹고싶네요 I love udon and sushi. There's a saying that you eat Japanese food with your eyes first, and then with your mouth. It's so neat and pretty. I really want to eat it.

I would really like to know what NY food is good at. Eddie Huang came over here and I was so excited for Bao House but unfortunately his Baos can’t compare to what the SGV has to offer. I went to David Chen’s Majordomo and that also it didn’t blow me away. I am a big fan of all these personalities and I wish them all the success. Here in the SGV is the mom and pop shops that rule. Maybe Ho Kee is on the right way now. I don’t think NY’s Asian food scene is not as strong as LA. NY is probably great for pizza. Also heard that Langer’s is better than Katz’s. Probably also Mexican food is possibly better than NY. This is all speculation since I have never been there. When I visit NY I am gonna have really great pizza.

Seems like Shalom Japan was more a cross between Ashkanzi (Eastern European) Jewish cuisine and Japanese cuisine than Sephardic Jewish (North African/Mediterranean) and Japanese cuisine

You guys need to express more enjoyment for the food! You need to explain the flavors more. Shoving it in your mouth is not enough. Respect the chefs and the flavors they present.
