KALE CHIPS RECIPE:
Appliances needed:
Dehydrator
Food processor (optional)
Ingredients:
4 bunches kale, washed, torn and stems removed
2 cups raw cashews, soaked 2 hours
1 large bell pepper (any color)
2 tablespoons lemon juice (get two lemons in case one is stingy)
5 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon agave
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
Instructions:
1. Submerge raw cashews into filtered water and let soak for 2 hours, or until water is absorbed.
2. In the meantime, finely mince 2 tablespoons of garlic (I use a food processor), chop pepper and tear and de-stem kale.
3. Add remaining ingredients to the food processor with the garlic, but the kale, in a food processor until smooth.
4. Massage mixture into kale.
5. Dehydrate 12 hours at 105 degrees
