I am obsessed with the secrets videos and another one about all the amazing Easter eggs in DCA was a delight to watch this morning. There are so many Disney history nods in this park that people just walk by every single day, and I love that the MamFam can be more mindful of all these details thanks to Molly.
I love these videos. Your love for the parks always shines through and I never fail to learn something new. I had no idea there was a Walt Window in DCA, that one hit hard.
These videos are so fun. It's so cool seeing all of the little things around the park that we just walk past and pay no never mind to. I really enjoy the way you tell it too Molly! You are so personable and seem so genuine in these videos. I honestly can't get enough of the secrets you share for us. Cheers!
I noticed something cool in Cars Land! At the Cozy Cones, they have plants in between each cone. And their flowers are.....orange cones! I thought the attention to detail was so cool!
Thanks again Molly …I’ve gone to DCA since it opened and walked right by all these Easter eggs not having a clue they meant anything. I will now look out for them 💐
I rode Superstar Limo. I really don't remember it much. Thanks vokda I snuck into the park to mix with dole whip! Don't come for me, that was almost 30 years ago!
Hey Molly!!! I was standing right next to you when you filmed the Five & Dime portion of this video. Sorry if I was fan girling while you were filming. I love all your videos and die hard true love for Disney and for sharing all of these fun facts. I regret being too shy to try to have a real convo with you when I had the chance!
I didn’t know Brother Bear didn’t do well! It’s one of my favorites! 15:05 You know… Molly, I hate to tell you this, but getting a wolf means that…once again, your patronus has proven to be a dog
I rode Superstar Limo during a cast member preview before the park opened in 2001. My group got off the ride and we all looked at each other shell shocked. It really was as bad as everyone says.
That's Wal Rus not Teefs. He's an engineer (hence "2X the ingenuity"), who helped Rocket overthrow Lord Dyvyne (hence "kills 99.9% of Lord Dyvyne's forces"). His Easter egg has been on display since the attraction opened in June of 2021, almost two years before the character of Teefs was first introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3.
Hi Molly! I am enjoying your Disney Secrets videos Ca edition. Did you know about the Walt and Roy homes that are still standing on Lyric Ave as well as Walt's home on Woking Way? The later has tours offered.
Are you going to do the pumpkin scavenger hunt? Also, one Easter Egg you didn't mention was the book titled A Far Cry From the Top Floor, a TOT reference.
Definitely rode the superstar limo in my early teens. Went on it with my friend and her little brother. My biggest regret is not buying the picture they took during the ride because all three of us were slack-jawed with our eyes wide in terror/disbelief. It was truly remarkable for all the wrong reasons. Making a ride about celebrities, which by that very nature is bound to become dated quickly, was such a poor choice. Also designing them as caricatures with inhumane proportions was an uncanny valley nightmare. The coloring, the styling, the proportions all fueled a level of terror in children that made goosebumps look like a lullaby.
