It took a few days to sort things out and I wanted to get back to you with the information everyone is asking about. I want to thank everyone for being as patient as possible. With the factory closed over the weekend and the frenzy of activity, it took me a bit of time to assess our position with parts supply etc., and understand exactly where we stood. During the sales frenzy, I decided to create a pre-order list without thoroughly assessing stock levels. This was a mistake as I now know that between the dealer orders and those sold direct, there are none left. The total production of the Germanium Tumnus pedals is 2500. The first batch of 1000 units has already shipped out and the second batch of 1500 will be made soon. We will not be making any more. Right at launch the website was flooded with sales, questions, orders, and emails. As soon as we hit our stock limit (total of first and second batch), we took immediate action - shutting down sales on our site and informing our dealers to pause orders. I designed this pedal for guitar players to enjoy. It's unfortunate to see them on the secondary market at inflated prices, but that's something we have absolutely zero control over. EVERYONE that ordered and paid through our website or Reverb store will be getting their pedal in January. Any retailers with open orders will have theirs shipped sometime in February. We're committed to our dealers and will be honoring all orders placed prior to launch. It's not in our practice to cancel a dealer's order for the sake of a little extra profit by selling directly. I usually keep our upcoming product launches under wraps. However, under these circumstances I have decided to share with you that just like the limited-edition Germanium Tumnus pedal, I planned to make a limited edition run of the Germanium Tumnus Deluxe pedal. The total run will FOR SURE be less than the Germanium Tumnus pedal (limited by available diodes) and will sell for $299.97. This pedal will be ready mid next year. The Germanium Tumnus Deluxe production will totally exhaust the germanium diodes we have left. Of course I feel bad for those customers on the waiting list that will not get a chance to buy the Tumnus Germanium pedal. Therefore, those of you who made it onto this waiting list will be first in line to purchase the deluxe version (one each of course). I will also be offering you a 10% discount and will be letting you know in advance of other sales activities. I will communicate with you directly when they are available. The balance of the Germanium Tumnus Deluxe pedal will be offered to those loyal Wampler customers who were subscribed to our newsletter at the date of launch (12-08-2024). I just got this pedal in the mail, and I haven’t played it yet. I’m excited to play it tomorrow. I’m going to play it with a higher gain setting with a boost in front of it.
I don’t love mini pedals either to be honest although I do have a few on the board at the moment. I always think it’s a bit strange when it’s the main pedal in the line rather than being the stripped back shrunken down version. Still, sounds good and fit in a nice gap I had on the board 😂.
As you know, I’m not an expert AT ALL and you’ve already probably tried this… but when I got similar interference, it turned out to be I had a light on (downstairs).
Mate I’ve tried everything I can think of, it’s ridiculous, I’ve had all the breakers off and only plugged my amp in to a circuit that’s on, guitar straight into amp and it was still there. I think it might be something in a neighbouring house or something. It only started a few weeks back, went away for a while but back again.
Take that with a grain of salt. A pinch of salt is something much different than the premises of your point. Let's try a example so that you understand the drill. One grain vs a pinch... in your mouth
@JasonWharton82 What do you mean, you do you? Your missing a few things... I'm doing you. Your not sure how many pedals they made, you think 1000. But then you pull out a "phrase".... except the phrase is incorrect. And that is what this is about. I'm explaining you to you and the phrase is in your bag of phrases... you should recognize at least something. The phrase is NOT "take this with a pinch of salt", it's take this with a grain of salt. So I point that out to you first. You would have to be more ambitious at this point to Google take it with a grain of salt after I'm telling you pinch isn't right. Then I'm trying to say... think out it. Why is the phrase grain of salt and not pinch? The point of your comment was its around 1000 but don't hold it as a fact that its 1000... take that comment in small measure. And that's why they say grain. When it comes to salt, a pinch isn't necessarily small, if your talking cookies... maybe. But we don't really need to debate about that because it's already been determined that the phrase is to contain grain. But I said you could put that to test yourself if nothing I continue to say makes any sense. By eating 1 grain of salt.... then toss a pinch in and tell me you didn't pucker. Anyway... may I suggest some fresh content to you... content creator. Day of the youtube unveil... the pedal was sold out already... but Whampler allowed you to sign up on a next in line list, said he was sold out, still had some parts left to put together a final order, and thus the list. This list was only on thier web site for 12-24hrs, and then was removed. Since, Brian has contacted people on the list saying he was doing a deluxe version and I was on the list. You have the mini, next he's putting out a deluxe. I don't have any numbers for you. You can see the Tumnus mini and deluxe and figure out what this deluxe may look like. When you watch Brian's PR video on your pedal... you heard he found some... but what I'm guessing you probably didn't pick up on is his use of the word allocation. From what he bought, he allocated a certain number of mini's to be made.... is what you would want to listen to so that your following me. Sold out of your pedal, does not mean out of the unicorn diodes... it means he's set aside a allocation of unicorn diodes for project mini germanium tumnus silver.... next... the same formula and fate for the deluxe. Is the same thing going on with that pedal also? Is there another allocation of diodes for project deluxe? And is there allocation for a super deluxe? Is there a allocation for a true vintage replica? Or is the last unicorn going into what will be the Deluxe? Is this just sales publicity. Someone decided it would be profitable to fabricate 50,000? Did a past employee steal these unicorns from Billy? Bill bought them all and tested everyone to single out the ones with exact electronic signature he was after. He had a box of these diodes but there was slight variation due to quality control and fabrication challenges... so he tested every one to separate what was good to him. And these unicorn rejects... where did they end up? That might be interesting content for a future video. A gift and lesson in proper vocabulary

When someone is chastising someone else for their use of the English language…. that person had better be spot on with their grammar. You Sir could barely string an eligible sentence together. ‘Pinch of salt’ is 100% CORRECT here in the UK. Someone as intelligent as you, must know about cultural & lingual differences.
Damn i was really interested in this pedal. In fact, i have one on preorder from Wampler. But after this conversation, I'm way more interested in salt. Let's have some more salt conversation 😂
