Im happy to see a company maken this size truck electric. I have the 5t 2.0 converted to electric and love it. Put some 1in axle widener on there with some badland mx4.3 wheels with 30° north black basher body. Tryed it with a 8s system and moving up to a 16s system now. Want it to wheelie across a field. Lol

Its Massive bro. I remember my amazement when i opened the box and saw it the first time...its a behemoth RC. Its only when it stands next to the already massive XMaxx that you truely can comprehend its size🤯

Hey bro. Havent tested it yet but... Considering that the batteries only last about 7-10 minutes of runtime...i would say by looking at the tires after ive had 2 runs with the car i would say you would get about maybe 1 to 1.5 actual hours will equates to around 6-9 runs. Thanks for watching💯

12s not for go faster but just not killing lipo so fast , i drive 16s 500kv 85 kmh top speed but with 4s gens ace bashing 60c 5000mah lipo easy 25 min in trck condition :) @@techspac3 and nothing is to hot after that motor still ok lipo easy life :)

@@MRCG68I have a 16s flier esc an tp 650kv motor that's good for 18s to put in my 5t 2.0. I tryed the truck on a 8s max5 an hobbystar 980kv motor that was fun and ran good for the price. But wasn't enough for me. Lol I want to do wheelies at will. Think I have everything to run the 16s system now. 2 8s 5000mah 100c powerhobbys packs are littleover a year old now and I used them in parallel with the 8s systems I run and they work good, but not shore they will hold up to the tp motor pulling alot of power. I don't talk to many guys at all that's done the 15s system's so I'm trying learn as much as possible before it gets going. What's your gear if your dontmind me asking ???

@@techspac3 It looks really good. Seems like it has tons of torque! $2030 to Canada is just a bit more than I want to spend unfortunately. I wish I could do it though!! I am thinking about buying a UD1002 (first version) and putting a decent set of tires on it to see if it can be made into a good truck. From the review of it on TomleyRC I think it has potential!

@@MagnifiedGiant the adrenaline pump you get from this Rovan is insane man, but i hear you. It is very expensive. I almost pulled the trigger on the UD1002se. I am so glad i didnt after watching Tomleys latest video. Damn glad i didnt. The first version has potential yes, but part availability and the price seems a bit steep bro. I would save up for something more reputable or.....Check out the Yikong DF7 V2 on AliExpress👍🏻😎

@@techspac3 I have checked out the Yikong DF7. It looks great as well. I think I might actually go with a Losi 1/10 BLACK RHINO FORD RAPTOR BAJA REY 4WD. They are right in that same price rang and I would be buying it in Canada. Parts should be easy to get locally as well.

Looks to have potential but for driving in a straight line on perfectly flat surfaces it's only grace is size. Plenty of cars much quicker and faster. Maybe i just watched the wrong video. I wanna see this monster used like the vehicle it's modeled after. Please.

Hey mate there is faster cars but i dont think there is much faster 1/5 scale stock rtr cars that go that fast. It does not have solid rear axle so it wont have that real realism like a UDR for example. You want me to take it on tue dirt?😬

@@techspac3 I'm more the Mojave type than UDR. Scale or realism is meaningless to me unless it makes a better performing toy. I'm waiting on my SBR 2.0 to come in now. I couldn't resist horizon offering $200 off. I'd love to see how this compares in its natural habitat to see if it needs added to my list.

ROVAN best in the world ? , sorry but not a cat in hell's chance of been near the best 🤣 . You want one of the best engineered RC'S in the world , then you would buy something like one of the full 7075 CNC MACHINED MCD RACING MAX ULTIMATE CHASSIS'S versions , either the rally car , or road racing super car , or 4WD buggy , or If you want one of the best 2WD buggies in the world , you would by a HORMANN HT4 full CNC 7075 🤣🤣🤣 . I wouldn't call ROVAN top class excellently engineerd RC'S . They definitely have a lot problems in their completely stock form their running gear . They are made to a cheap price , and you end up paying the price for that cheap ROVAN in the end by having to pay out for better quality parts from another RC parts manufacturer . Essentially it is a cheap parts imitation clone of the excellently engineered MCD RACING MAX ULTIMATE RC .

@@techspac3 the evidence is already out there for all to see about ROVAN'S stock out of the box issues and problems . Personally i Wouldn't buy this cheaper inferior clone imitation version of the MCD RACING MAX ULTIMATE , because that's what ROVAN is , and ROVAN quality can be pretty dire even new out of the box .
