I love when that one white dude said.. I'm just trying to make living.. It's so cool.. Cause he knew he couldn't stop Larry.. I'm just trying to make a living... I cry laughing at that
Bird and Magic had the highest basketball IQ's of any I ever seen play the game....they made everyone around them better... for me personally you can't speak about one without mentioning the other... great reaction my friend 👍
I love it when kids discover Larry Bird via old videos. For us who watched the NBA since the late 70's until now, Larry is the best by far. I think deep in his heart, MJ thinks the same, too. There are many "legends" in the NBA but Larry owns that brand. Larry Legend.
I had the pleasure to watch the Larry Legend in his heyday even though that was not my team in my home state, watching Larry play was like a master artist creating a masterpiece never seen somebody effect a sport the way he did. He Jordan, Magic, and Kobe and the Dr. J kept your interest in the game because you knew something amazing was going to happen.
Lived in Phoenix in the 80s. Saw Tom play a number of times. Really exciting player. I think he needs to get in the Hall of Fame. Birds still my favorite player.
Dam I wish I could went to game and watch him play, there's good players in league today, but that kind of Ballin is unique and its exciting, dam his turn around step back was money u couldn't guard it,good observation on the video big king
Same here. I was a Lakers fan back then and the Celtics, especially Bird kept me up at night worrying. I think it was Calvin Murphy who said "Every time we had a chance to win, Larry Bird changed that". That's the essence of how Bird affected the game of basketball. He didn't win every game he played, but if the game was tight or the other team thought they'd done enough to win, he would pull something out of his bag and slit your throat. Just ask Isiah Thomas.
I love this video! I laugh every time see this video. Keep watching bird. I will try to see what you watched to suggest more. Have you ever watched 4 crazy stories that prove Larry bird is the toughest nba player or 5 times Larry bird played hurt.
i remember when i was in new york in 1987 work and study i was greek white guy i had talent in basketball .i made some black friends from the dinner i was working as a waitor and they use to take me play with them and i got 300% better because i play with brothers they teach me things i would never imagine it was a beautiful era in my life these 5 years i spend in usa and they are still my friends
My favorite comments are Gary Payton talking about how cold Bird was, and Jamal Mashburn, one of the college team players put together to practice against the Dream Team. If you run across them please check them out
Here's my questioned.. could anyone get away with that in this day and age.. Sports to me have become so ridiculous with even just the trash talking.. You can't look at someone crossed eyed without a foul. Have to say.. I enjoyed sports more back then than I do now. I don't even watch sometimes because it's not real anymore.
I am straight up addicted to these LB videos. As a showtime Lakers fan growing up, I legit hated the dude. But you only hate on people who are true assassins. Magic was my guy. But I put him at 1B now. Larry was just simply the best until Michael stepped up. But it took LB retiring for Michael to start winning. That’s not an opinion, it’s just straight up facts
Larry said it he was black on the inside and other black players told he was black on the inside lol I mean u just do see guys playin like that ,u almost at times when bird was cookin there ass if they was playing the same game
