Thank you for watching 🖤💛 I had a lot of fun watching his clips, as I pieced this together An ultra talented, athletic & inspired ILB?! It’s hard to believe he went where he did in the draft… Even with the injury history. HERE WE GO STEELERS!! 🖤💛
I told my brother Cleveland should draft him in 3rd round. When they didn't I already knew Pittsburgh was going to take him. Will be a thorn in Cleveland side the next 10 years
Yeah I agree. I mean he slipped to almost the 4th round. His injury woes weren't in the last season. Dude is legit. Him and Queen are going to dominate the middle of the field
Frank Gore SHREDDED his ACL TWICE in college. He went on to play 16 NFL seasons and has the 3rd most rushing yards in the history of the NFL. Do you know who else didn't have an ACL in his knee? Hines Ward.....that's who.
@@JW0143 I took the time to comment because I believe the op post is close to irrelevant to the current situation. Something you most likely don’t comprehend
I don't watch college ball, so I always end up really checking out our guys after they're drafted. The second effort this kid gives on every play is absolutely nuts.
TJ Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alex Highsmith, Patrick Queen, Cam Heyward, Keanu Benton and now Payton Wilson. This is going to be the #1 Defense in thd nfl
Barring injury issues this dude is a white version of Shazier with hair lol. Good thing he'll be covered by UPMC. The best medical staff and some of the greatest surgeons in the country
NC State fan, Steeler admirer (ehat a franchise). Yall got the defensive player of the year at the END of the third. Great, great fit for the steelers from mentality to personality and talent. Enjoy.
We might have something special, cause idk if you noticed, 1:52 when he caught that int. The running back had an angle to stop him from getting a pick six, but Wilson uses his 4.4 speed to beat that angle, that’s truly impressive to me and a sign of good things to come.
I just hope he can stay healthy. You put him as the backup behind roberts and queen he can really learn a thing or 2. Also hopefully holcomb comes back healthy that was such a freak injury
He reminds me alot of Urlacher in college. Even tho Brian was a safety. But the build and athleticism are close. Maybe just hair leaner. When he puts on his nfl weight at about 250-55. The potential is nice
He's very humble and respectful in the interviews I've watched, but it sure seems like he plays with a mean streak. I also like how he wears his jersey short like J Peezy. Nick Herbig was meant to be a Steeler and so was this dude. I hope he can stay healthy and dish out some pain in the division.
Look at his size compared with current NFL linebackers and strong safeties. He is not that big to be a LB, but just the rifht size for a strong safety/LB hybrid that can be used to cover TE's and smother RBs. He will get caught up in the wave from the taller and bigger O-linemen on blitzes and run's. @c.antoinehill100
