It is not manipulation. Sales is helping people make buying decisions. The prospect has an initial interest in final expense. Peter simply asked him questions. The prospect answered them. So, it is manipulation to remind the prospect of what he said a minute ago? Are you talking about the various tones Peter uses? You think that Peter should always go into a call shooting from the hip and not use a script and not plan to say things a certain way? Doing so is disingenuous? It isn't. These people are world-class procrastinators... and unless they practically see the hearse backing up to their door, they will continue to procrastinate until it is too late. If they die without coverage, their family will suffer. You call it "manipulation"... but it is helping them face the responsibilities that they know they need to take care of that they have been putting off for too long. I don't feel bad about that one bit. I'm sure their families would appreciate it.
