I would love to see this but in drugstore products or products under 25 dollars only. not everyone can afford 45 dollar products sometimes but still want something good. But I think I might have found some new favs in this video too :)

Marlena!!! I just received my package today!! I was the girl from twitter that you gave the highlighters to! I’m GOBSMACKED with these highlighters. Daybreak is going to be treasured and I’m not kidding. It beats my all time favorite one. I’m the type of girl who stays with her favorites and tends to not reach for new. I’ve never used anything like this. I’m trying to convince my social anxiety to let me start a channel because I just have been blown away with every product I got. The brushes. The liner. I mean it. I feel like Fenty is one of the very rare celeb brands that you can tell the celeb actually cares and is doing it because they love beauty, not just a cash grab. Rare Beauty and Haus Labs too (and I really only started feeling like that about Haus recently, because it took her a minute to create products good enough to gain traction).

The BEST foundations for mature skin is Bare Minerals original powder foundation & Laura Geller Baked Balance n Brighten. Hands down! I have tried so many foundations at 63 years old. I’m done with searching now that I’ve gone back to these two.

The Milani foundation doesn't perform well in humid weather for me ( I have oily skin). It fades a lot, very quickly. Lorea'l has much better foundations at the drugstore for oily skin. I usually use the Lisa Eldridge foundation (I apply it with the C442 Duo Fiber Buffer from Crown brushes in very soft circular motions -barely touching my face) and spot conceal with the Nars soft matte concealer. Under the eyes my favorite concealer so far is the It cosmetics bye-bye under eye. I also like the Loreal Age perfect concealer. Neither needs a lot of powder on top. I like other ds concealers but they break me out so I'd rather not mention.
Thank you so much for including many fragrance free options. I became allergic to fragrance and a lot of essential oils recently 😢, and it’s amazing how many products have fragrance. I can get away with fragrance in many products, but not foundation, concealer and primer - things that cover big areas of my skin. Eugenia from Senna is incredible and I really like the Senna under eye brightening powder a lot too.

I tried the Milani foundation and was so dissappointed, it sat on my skin, disn't dry down and was so uncomfy and oily. I tried it with a brush a sponge, had to use a ton of powder, it creased after a few moments. I have very oily skin, so I tried that foundation with different face care products - salicylic acid cream, vitamin e cream, hydrating cream, with primer, without primer and it just wasn't working at all. I got better results with salicylic acid cream and no primer, but it was torture.

I’m still using your Auburn eyebrow pencils…. I have six in my back up. That’s how much I love them. Not too soft, not too hard and the Auburn color is perfect for me… not too orange and not too dark… Thank you for making a lovely product.

Marlena, does the Sheer Glow ever set? I’ve tried a few of the NARS foundations and they’re always tacky. I’m actually using the Light Reflecting right now but it’s always tacky. I don’t powder because I’m dry.
I like Viseart, but If I'm spending that amount of money, Natasha Denona it's where it's at for me. The mattes are much more creamy. Drugstore wise BH Cosmetics are my favorite eyeshadows so far. Love Danessa Myrick's color fixes, we agree there. That said I love VIseart's color stories, I'd still purchase shadow palettes from them.

I’m commenting here to ask Marlena to please stop talking about the JH situation with Jen Luv and anyone else because a lot of us makeup lovers are sick and tired of the whole drama already. Jen Luv won’t let it go and I can’t watch her anymore since she makes me feel anxious and stressed out instead of calm and happy, which is what makeup does for me. It’s fun, pretty, feminine, and when I go to watch what’s new in makeup, news about the industry, etc., all I get is the drama that’s so old and should just be put to rest. I really like you, Marlena, have been following you since your first days on RU-vid, never watched JH because I just never liked her. I’m asking you to please don’t support the makeup drama channels anymore with information that needs to go away. If this doesn’t stop, I’m just going to stop watching your videos and find other channels because I can’t separate you from the headache channels since watching you prompts my feed to send me right to the drama and I can’t take it anymore. It’s killing my mental health since makeup is my escape and RU-vid takes me to the negativity if I watch you.

That highlighter from ABH is still in my everyday bag!! I’m 42 and it doesn’t settle in my skin and make it look gross! It’s also the never-ending gobstopper of highlighters because mine is from the 1st launch and I haven’t even smoothed down the waves yet. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I would say an alternative for the Amrezy highlighter would be MAC Whisper of Gilt which they made permanent! It’s a little more shimmery but gives the same effect.
@@MarlenaStell obviously about the eyeshadows too. I forgot how good the eyeliners were! I go through them so fast so it’s been a long time since I owned one.. you’re right they were tbe best! So black and budge proof!
I had really bad experience with UD 24/7 pencil. I applied it to my waterline and it melted into my eyes. I was nearly blind for a few hours. So maybe don’t experiment like I did, keep it on the eye. Great choice of products!

I would love to see a version of this for people with oily and combo but aging skin as well as some items that are a little more budget friendly. I have sensitive acne prone and combo skin that does not do well with any type of silicones and extra dew adding products.

I love your channel, your advice and tips, but not crazy about your lip liner look today. I feel that look is outdated and think the liner should match your lip color. (It literally reminds me of an eldery overly tan bleach-))blonde woman who wears her lipliner way too dark with the frosty lipstick!!! 🤪) Everything else-BEAUTIFUL!

I would love to learn more about skin care from you .. what order to do it in .. also I am just now being put on retinol A and would love to know what to look for on my skin if using to much, shedding skin etc ! I am 47 and just got told I had skin cancer on my face and they had to remove the spot but seems to also be coming back again .. again ladies you are never to young/ old to start taking care of your skin!! We also need to take care of that so our face still looks flawless no matter what we use ❤

@marlenastell if u really love the am rezy highlighter, try three custom color. You can send them the color and theyll duplicate color and return the orig color back. Theyre specialty is duplicating your fav discontinued lipstick
A new liquid liner on the scene is the one from Danessa Myricks. Her brush tip pen is THE BEST I’ve ever tried.. and I’m a liquid liner, graphic liner, winged out junkie! Highly recommend! Great video! ❤

HI Marlena-I made an investment in professional brushes and purchased a full set of BK Beauty Brushes a couple years ago. I am so disappointed with them, and honestly never use them. I literally just tried the foundation brush-again- and hate it so much, I literally just threw it away today(!) To be fair I really like the woman who made them and respect and admire her. I would love to hear your thoughts about those compare to the Anisa brushes that you so highly recommend. I have been on the fence to buy them (in particular the foundation brush), but just don't want to make another $$$ mistake, especially if I am unable to return them.
