in my opinion, no other vocalist can come close to the rawness and gnarly vocals that Matt can do One of the best vocalist and lyricist of metalcore in years
It feels so distant from anything I’m feeling yet at the same time every word is exactly how I feel. It’s crazy definitely aoty. I’m waitng for eidola and the home team but gonna take some beating this album!
I actually enjoyed this a lot, found these guys 5 days ago and listened through their old music and now THIS?! im lucky to have just found them and be blessed with more
favorite Boundaries album and i love them all, one of my favorite band ive ever seen too they have the most amazing live energy and performance. Absolutely LOVE the passion in Matt's vocals it really feels like he gives it his 110% and its so raw and emotional i cant get enough of it. Also had some of the best features of the year like having Lochie, Marcus, and Matt Honeycutt as the features is STACKED IMO and Marcus' feature is probably my favorite as he brought something so great to that song and all the features killed it. Glad you really enjoyed this album as well! the lyrics really do hit deep and im sure most everyone can relate to them at some point in their lives
i listened to this album for the entirety of my 8 hour shift today. so fire. i first heard it monday, i got my record in the mail early. this and the knocked loose album are my most anticipated albums this year. the transition of darkness shared into like petals of a stem was so fuckin crazy. how are the 2 shortest songs on the album the heaviest and best songs on the album XD the invent animate feature is incredible as well. and how can we gloss over the matt honeycutt feature 😍😍
Blames burden feels like a medley of metalcore past and present what a cool song! Aoty so far. The home team and eidola to come but gonna take some beating this! Lyrically it’s crazy. Feel every word! Great reaction as always bro!
Dude, I just checked and you haven't listened to The Mars Volta at all! You've listened to so many of the "swancore" bands but their sound totally comes from The Mars Volta, especially De-Loused in the Comatorium. You gotta do a react to it, it's honestly mind-blowing! The kind of album I had on repeat in the month after I first heard it. Once you hear it, you'll pick up their influence in so many different artists, it's seriously one of the most important albums of the 2000s.
this is a completely different vibe than what im about to recommend lol but since you reacted to all of dgd's shit you should check out five minute ride, its a band kurt travis was in before dgd that only has one album on spotify but its probably some of my favorite work of his and nobody really knows them. my personal favorite track is i knew a girl named love york
Really sad that the bonus track on the last album is what ruined it for you. Been watching your reactions for years and I get that it’s an extreme move, but to dismiss an entire album because of a bonus track is pretty wild man. Also this comment was made before I have even watched your reaction. This album is amazing so I hope you like it
