@@ghoulish_Fenrir yes but I think you might have to get it force loaded. Like say have it on a realm (set up on pc with a foxy pack) when you log in on a console it will automatically load. I might be wrong but I am pretty sure that's how I got it on my switch if I am not mistaken.
I really like a lot of these but I also really like madhatter’s armourstand pack where there’s a ton of different stuff it can do depending on what item it holds, the best one is guardian farm spawn spots. Such a good one because it seems I can’t count (every time I make a guardian farm😂)
Love this video Prowl, nice work! What about the add-on to see all the trades available for villagers? I don't see you mention this one in the video, but I have seen you use it in your world at some time. What are your thought on that one? I didn't know about the durability viewer, might try that myself
I forgot about this one! I have had several people mentioning a lot of different add-ons. Maybe will do a followup video in the future laying out more!
Heads up for console players, the realms method work on the mobile version as well (if you don't have access to a pc capable of running Minecraft), download the addon, import to mobile version, then follow the steps above as if you were setting up the realm on a pc.
For those wondering. For console realms, you can also just use a mobile version of minecraft; like on an apple or android device. If you’re like me, who doesn’t have a computer but does have it on an iphone, just get used to the file directory system. And it’s mostly the same process.
Download it make it a zip file and then delete the .zip so it just says mcaddon at the end or whatever is before the .zip and then click on it and hit open with minecraft worked for me like 40mins ago on 1.21 for android to Xbox
this is dope. I've just found out as well I can use my 3d sculpts in blender and import them into the game. Now I can take it to console and play the worlds I create for work with my girlfriend
I can not thank you enough for this video. I have been wanting to use many mods I see in videos but couldn’t find them or big packs had things I didn’t like. I ended up downloading 50+ of these mods. Only down side is they aren’t named well. So trying to find one to deactivate is impossible past randomly trying them. Though for most of them for some reason if I active 1 it activates many of them for some reason. Not sure why. But anyways you earned a sub for this finally very helpful info! Thanks again man. More mods that work on bedrock mobile are always welcomed.
All those are great. I've downloaded mods directly to my consoles and they were pretty fun. DanRobsProbs had a boatload of fun and crazy mods to mess with. Crazy Craft and Pokemon mashup was the most fun to play years ago! Downside to consoles now, is you have to pay for online access too. With realms, you're basically paying double (triple if you're also paying for an internet provider). Consoles can be fun, but way too gimmicky; double dipping on your already paid for internet access. Makes it sad for those who have to pay that much just to port downloads into a console because they've closed their system files to mods (Xbox and PlayStation). I used to download mods directly into the Minecraft file on Xbox and PlayStation. Switch was a completely closed system and was the only one that required this method. Now they've all closed their system files, forcing console players to cough up extra cash just to force load mods through realms. What a shame, really. Best method is to require players to download non-marketplace attachments in the settings so they'll have it in their system and can use them in other worlds as well (unless they changed this feature too...).
This is fantastic. I was looking on your channel for the clear view pumpkin and you have a full video on it. One question, on my single world, if my daughter joins me, will she be able to use these?
I play on the switch. I'm not at home at the moment but when I get home I will have to check my menu options. I believe I have access to Resource packs from my menu without having to log into a computer. I'll check later and let you know.
You have this option on your switch yes, but to get them onto the switch, you can only do it via buying on the marketplace. This method allows you to apply free addons to your world you can download on PC.
@ProwlMinecraft Yes. I just figured that out. 😔 This a nice workaround. Now I will have to find someone with minecraft on their computer to get a few of these.
Quick question. Only the owner of the realm can add add-ons to the world right? If I play in somebody else's realm I cannot add any of this to show up only for me? Also, thanks for remembering the few of us that play on console.
True yes... although on PC/Mobile you can enable resource packs globally that apply to any world you join, including someone elses realms (unless they enable the option that forces you to only use what the server has enabled)
just getting back into minecraft and am on ep3 of the new guide but wondering about bedrock tweaks add ons. Is there a way to still get say the chunk border add on? will it be back on bedrock tweaks and is the addition of add ons to store the reason they are down now?
will the structura add on disable achievments? i know he said the texture packs won't, but i didn't notice any mention about add ons, and i'm seeing a lot of info on Reddit saying that having any add ons will disable achievements in my world.
Do you have to own Minecraft on a pc to do the realm trick? I only have it on my switch but I might be able to borrow someone’s pc to add stuff but no one I know plays Minecraft on pc.
Does your PC account have to be the same Microsoft account as the console one? They are separate purchases, so I’m wondering if I need one for myself and one for my daughter, or if I can get admin rights to hers to make changes.
So she can’t upload a world to a realm, give me access to the realm and have me modify it before she downloads it back? So I would need to get a total of four copies of the Minecraft game and two subscriptions to realms?
@@IRONxDeeDee realm owners don't have the ability to share ownership. So you'd have to log out of your account via the Microsoft store on PC, then log into the realm owners account, download the world, add the addons, then upload the realm back.
@IRONxDeeDee btw, u can login to an account from multiple devices and u dont need to buy more copies of the game to create new account, u just gotta create new microsoft accounts which is free
I am hosting a realm on Windows 10/Bedrock edition. If I download add-ons to it will all of my friends on the realm (including my friend playing on PS4) automatically get these add one when they are in the world? Like if I put a texture pack on will they see it?
how do you apply these to your account and a world, asking for a friend (literally- we just made a world and i'm trying to figure this out) (I'M ON PC BTW, HE'S ON XBOX)
On PC its as easy as just editing the world and adding packs in the global resources. On Xbox it’s a little more complicated. You would need to have access to realms and a PC that has Minecraft on it. The Xbox world would have to be loaded onto a realm and then downloaded onto a PC That logs into that same Microsoft account. Then you can load the packs on the world and re-upload it to the realm and re-download it back onto the Xbox. They don’t make it easy to put resource packs and behavior packs on consul unfortunately.
@@Aggrosk8 so what would I do when I download the resources packs then, where would I put them? In the resource packs folder in the Minecraft Bedrock Edition folder on my computer?
When you download a resource pack to your computer, you double click that .mcpack file to load it into Minecraft. Once you do that, it is available for you to add to your global resources or to worlds.
@@Aggrosk8 oh right, I'll give that a go when I'm on my computer next... I should be sleeping right now lol.... It's 00:20am where I'm from 💀 But thank you for the help, I'll let you know if I get stuck
I have a question. If I have a world I love on my console (Series X) and I want to get it on a server. I understand that to get the file I will have to move to realm first. But once I do that, go to a PC and open the world, add my add-ons, then save the world. If I add that world to a bedrock server multiplayer world, when I go to that server on the Xbox and open the world, will the add-ons download and be available? I want to add-ons on the world on the server, so my friends can play anytime, but still have all the features on there consoles.
If you activate them in global resources then they are applied to any world you join. Edit: unless the realm owner has it set so your required to use their packs.
The process of creating the structure requires cheats... but you would just do this in a creative world, or creative copy of your survival world... on the real copy of your survival world, the pack you use is a resource pack, and does not require cheats to be enabled :p
single player sleep command always needs to be put in when i log into a realm my friend is hosting even the realm owner needs to put in the command to make it active when before the update 1.20.60 i had it active and never needed to reactivate it.... annoying but at least its there still
