seeing this video come out during the whole controversy over safer seas reminds me that regardless of what happens with the game it is still our pirate game, where we can be the buccaneers we always wanted. also thank you Captain for the incredible ending to this, youve inspired me to finally make my own sea of thieves content and build a channel :) thank you Captain Thorrork, it has been an honor!

I use the sea forts in combination with emissary voyages. Do the sea forts and combine them with the small island digs. When you get to grade 5 sell, grab your emissary voyage, lower, and reraise. If you want to risk it you don't have to sell and can hold out for gold rush but you still need to go grab your emissary flag and reset the flag.

Posting this after watching the entire video, you have a great energy and personality for making videos. Dont over think the editing as most people love a true 1 or 2 take personality as its raw and real. That will help you not waste as much time until this picks up for you, also dont worry about the content being new or ground breaking it can be of stuff that has already been done. It helps to have multiple versions of things as many leave a lot out, your vid on the forts just now shed a little light I wasn't aware of but have seen exact videos of the same stuff but you went more indepth and probably didn't even mean too. Keep it up!

I only had your channel recommended to me the other day, don't remember which video. But I have been binge watching it every day since. I love the content, the style of narration, and I have gone on to do some of the things you talk about in the videos for my own grind. Thank you so much for what you do. Made my first million yesterday off of mostly sea forts, treasuries and occasional hourglass. Will probably make pirate legend today or tomorrow because I only have merchant left to finish I think sea forts should be how solo sloops should start their sessions. You get more than enough to pay for a supply crate, pine apples, 100 or so cannon balls, 50-100 wood, and cooked meat from the fort

I know that many people complain about youtubers asking for money but from what I have seen you put out quality content and have worked very hard at it. I totally respect the grind even to get this far. As I was a small content creator myself (just shy of 400 subs when I stopped) I found that a more lucrative approach, that I saw with PhuzzyBond seems to work quite well, was making videos for youtube, but half of them being a sort of voiceover over a cool happening over on the Twitch channel. Through streamelements tips when I was really small I didn't get much, but on Twitch people seemed more inclined to donate xD. Keep it up man, cause the content is looking really good and I think you will definitely make it somewhere even more so than now!

Yes sea forts are amazing especially with the double XP and gold also you can so much food,planks and cannon balls also its great for escaping gallons you want to stay 2 tiles away

I think some great video ideas for your channel would be challenge videos, for example trying to get a bunch of loot while only sailing ok a row boat on a rowboat, and to make it more challenging in the devils roar.

Nice Video, But i have to ask! I came back to sea of Thieves After s2 and your Method Sounds pretty nice for a guy who plays much time alone while im sick! So u clear the fortress, while the ship is sailing to the Other one and one Tap Every lot from top and bottom. Get back at your Ship, doing the same with the Other one. And within the time it resets and your loot is still there Cause u were not away for an Hour (Cause of loot Reset)?

As a newer player i love sea forts. I usually raise a reaper flag and hourglass until i win one then stop. I get put at emmisary lvl 3 and 3/4 then ijust spam sea forts get as much loot as possible and sell

Another alt to fishing for hunters call is killing all the snakes on snake island. Thats a lot of free snake meat! Put it all in a crate and speed cook it at one those french forts. Merchant lvling is probably better doing the captain quests where you deliver stuff or “find the sunken ship” quest if you’re any good at that. Finally reached pirate legend last week. Now to figure to learning pvp >.< My brain probably too slow compared to others but best to learn how to at least be annoying to take down instead of “ok, just sink me. Idc.”

sea forts are nice when the key actually spawns iv hunted the entire fort with lantern raised time and time again and after looking over every inch, there was no key for the upper store room

I'm confuse, if you do fortress but let the loot inside, doesn't it de-spawn when fortress reset ?

I once farmed sea forts like crazy for an afternoon (played about 6h straight) and i made in total 1.2 mil by selling at reapers (without any multipliers like gold rush or community day). i prefer to keep the loot on my ship and keep it close to the fort for two reasons : i don't want my ship going to the red sea, and i don't want loot despawning or someone stealing the loot on the fort. Also a good tip : when i'm playing with a friend, he usually drops me off to the shrine of tribute for a bit more loot (and a chest of ancient tribute), to progress the commendations, (and the shrine of tribute is one of the easiest shrines in the game, so that's cool), i finish the shrine before my friend finishes the fort usually.

I mean, my crew always does a fort at the start of any voyage just for the cannonballs. We hit the sea with hundreds after that. The other supplies and the loot doesn't hurt either.

I don't know if it's because I'm a noob at the game or not but every piece of loot I get makes me happy. Even if a reaper chases me into the cloudy parts if the map and I lose it all. Had someone chase me and we both sunk and got no loot. Why are some so desperate for a fight?

...amen on the year, buddy. You're doing great in life, keep it up. But what I wanted to say was... all gems to the hunter's call. If you ever want to max it, they get them all from day one. P.s. I think the community more or less agreed to take it easy on people doing the forts, buuuut on the seas... they's more guidelines then arcual rulezzz so keep an eye out especially when ya solo, and the "leave ya alone" doesn't apply if you're stacking them... so you sell as your reset.

Ad revenue is weird. I know a RU-vidr who only gets 130k views a month but he makes over 10k a month on ad revenue alone. Length of the video and viewer retention has HUGE effect on this

I don't understand why you do all this extra stuff. Literally just go to a fort park. Your ship at the entryway for the treasure grab, take out them. Move all the loop to your boat. Go to the ferry of the damned wait 5 minutes and the forts reactivated and ready to go.
