I’m beginning to think I’m the only fan of the Mission to Pluto. I closed and opened up an image of all 11 watches, dozens of times, and every time my eyes would land on Pluto first. Love the burgundy bezel framing that creamy dial. Where are my Plutonian brothers at?
Pluto is my favorite as well. Just picked it up last week. Changed the strap to a burgundy rubber strap and it looks really good. It compliments the burgundy bezel.
Jupiter hands down from the moment I saw the collection even up to now: *There’s no actual Speedy that looks like it (besides the hands) so it serves as a unique variant among Speedmasters. Then again, the same could be said of other Moonswatches too. *A bit vintage looking compared to the others, which is a theme I like *Versatile (not as much as Moon) but I have a lot of outfits that it blends well with. *Not as daring as the other MoonSwatches but not quite as ‘vanilla’ as the Mission to the Moon. *Jupiter is my favorite planet in the system
I have been drawn to the Mercury Moonswatch from the beginning as the Murdered-out version of the collection. Jupiter is the underdog that has risen to the top indeed, but the beige/khaki NATO is a necessary swap. Pluto has probably the most interesting dial but I am not sure how the burgundy bezel looks in person. As you mentioned, the Mission to the Sun is probably the most underlooked, with a dial that resembles those ones found in gold watches. I just feel like the Moon is shouting too much I wanted the OG one but didn't have the money, while the rest of them are playful homage versions of the Moonwatch
Mercury wasn't available at the drop so I opted to get the Moon instead. Saw these two to be very muted and easy to pair. My 2nd choice was Jupiter initially but after seeing it in person I felt that the black dial of the Moon was more of my style.
Not having easy access to even view these in the flesh, I have resorted to watching many videos covering this exciting initiative. Of all of them, I have thoroughly enjoyed your presentation of these. Thank you for the attention to high Res images which is appreciated
I was close to pulling the trigger on one when I could! The Pluto color way and design looks very familiar to me but I’m not sure what watch it reminds me of haha. Thanks for watching!
Just got my Jupiter today! Just dumb luck…was talking to the sales person and he gave in and offered the last one he had. Goes to show, when you’re nice to people they’re nice back.
Hi Chris , very informative your video is absolutely great , still my favorite is Mars It attracted me since your previous videos ❤️wishing you have a blessed weekend 🥰🥰🥰
I did buy the Jupiter to "mod" it like yours with the nato strap thanks to your video because I love the looks of it and I agree it is the most wearable one. I am also chasing Neptune, but it's temporarily unavailable due to the discoloration issue. So those 2 will be my goal. For now super happy with my jupiter+ beige nato strap :) Thanks!Awesome videos!
Thanks! Wasn’t really into the color play with the mission on earth but seeing it in person in store, it’s a lot more attractive than I thought. Still not one of my favorites to pick up but a handsome piece regardless. Thanks for stopping by again!
Great content there! I’m actually trying to get a hold on a mission to the moon. Planing on pairing it with a black leather strap thanks to your straps video. The combo looked real classy!
Great video. Your MARS watch however has an issue. The second hand doesn't hit a single marker. I love the "Mission to the Moon" as well as your #1 choice. Surprised to not see Neptune in here.
This was an awesome video! I think I'm going to buy a couple moonswatches. Along with them being really cool, as a photographer, they will be great for strap combos :)
As I get older, I find that the hour and minute hands need to have more contrast against the dial. For that reason, the Jupiter is hard to read for me. The Moon or Mercury works best.
A friend got Saturn for me today when he was visiting a city that has a boutique. I had it ranked 5 in my list. I hope it will go nicely on a brown leather strap. Looking forward to getting one of these on wrist.
I got a Pluto first - then a Moon. Surprised myself by sometimes choosing Pluto still - even though Moon is my favourite. As for a top six in order... Moon, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto… I like them all though - apart from the weird styling on Venus and the brown strap on Saturn (sorry to disagree on that!)
Great choices! The beauty about these watches is that there is something for everyone, and if you’re not a fan of the straps offered, we can always swap them out! No offense taken. Thanks for sharing your top 6 😃
I received Mercury, Pluto, and Jupiter from my wife and daughters for Christmas. I found some nice straps for my Mercury and Pluto that complement the watch. I have been eyeing a few different canvas and leather NATO straps for the Jupiter. Since we do not have a Swatch store here in Charlotte, and they only had the Fiat here for two days, I will probably not continue collecting them...seems to be way too many fakes out there to risk buying through the secondary market.
I picked up a MoonSwatch, "Mission to the Moon," for myself, and I am still waiting for Mars and Neptune. We may have run into each other one of the times I had to wait in line for the purchase of a MoonSwatch.
You picked up the right one as I heard they the Mission to the Moon is pretty hard to come by. If you happened to be near the front of line on opening day, it might be a good chance we probably have ran into each other haha. Thanks for stopping by and watching my video!
Hey bro just got watch your videos now and man you are great with what you do I also just got my Jupiter from a reseller was planing to get Saturn before but the price is quite higher than the Jupiter what got me at first is the brown strap but damn your khaki strap is a beauty. Could you let me know where you got it if ever I’m from the PH. Thanks!
Cool. I'm after the Mission to Mercury first, then the Moon then Mars.... unfortunately I'm in rural Fenland so no chance of getting any until Swatch decide to sell online 🤞🏻🙏. Good video, thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
I am a big fan of the Saturn watch because of the the dial at 6 o’clock dial and because of how easy it is to wear with almost anything especially with a leather strap that has a combination of black and brown. Im also a big fan of Neptune. Primarily because it’s Omega’s color and because of how cool that blue tone really is. Sadly I only have Saturn as Neptune is very very hard to find prior to secondary market.
@@ClickyBezel its getting harder and harder to find it for retail. The store i bought my Saturn from which is a 45 minute drive away from me but sadly closest store and the only swatch store in my state never had it since october 2022.
I couldn't help myself. These were the only 6 I plan on keeping and figured might as well! Sorry if it didn't meet your expectations but thanks for stopping by!
I still cannot believe how difficult it is to get your hands on these. It’s a shame but I was just lucky to be able to acquire these from the same Swatch store.
Congratulations! My Swatch store won't sell me anymore but luckily these are my top picks. Would love to own the entire collection though. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! Connections. I still had to buy these one at a time so it took a while. Although it helped that I brought my wife with me everytime I pick a watch up.
These watches with their easy to scratch glass are NOT changeable. They are laser fused into the casing. If you scratch them to the point of not able to buff out, throw away the watch and get a new one! They should bring out new variants of this series; mission to a black hole and mission to Hell.
This is definitely not a watch to daily, at least for myself. For a lot of us, this will be a watch to cycle through our collection. The plastic crystal does indeed scratch very easily so wearing this in your rotation will greatly negate the possibly of developing more knicks and scratches on the crystal. Thanks for watching!
The Sun and Uranus are my favorites, with Neptune maybe 3rd. The only problem with the Sun and Uranus is that I would want to switch them to a NATO and can I find a NATO color that I think is compatible.
You are right! They are pretty tough to pair with straps. I’m thinking neutral tones or complimentary oranges and teals would probably work out. Thanks for watching!
Ah that's so frustrating. I underestimated how difficult and annoying it would be to acquire these watches in the future when I filmed this video. I hope you're able to find one soon. Thanks for watching!
How did you get so many of these watches? I can't even find a single one without a ridiculous markup. I'm in the Los Angeles area and there are no SWATCH dealers here.
