Lmao back when early campaign came out I knew to immediately put on all these settings, and I barely know shit about graphical settings and what makes things look good/run stable
I feel like theres an issue in the cod community where creators think we all “need” to do this to play better when settings really should just be tuned to whatever accustomes your playstyle, do whatever u want homies
Spot on, there’s so many kids who blindly follow these guys and do everything they say when in reality they should just be doing what they find best and what is comfortable for them. A bit sad tbh but what can we do
@Timothy Newman lmaooo, a poorly cooled PC or my alienware laptop that 5 years old running games in the background all day while wonder why my rooms warm😭🤣
Fidelity fx makes textures look better while making it super grainy to keep up with the load of it. Keep it off for smoother clearer gameplay. Or if you want it on keep it at 25 or lower.
Only thing different I would recommend is putting the FOV between 90 and 100. 120 just feels incredibly zoomed out. Use what ever feels more comfortable. Also might depend on what type of screen you are playing on to improve your experience
@TadAustin2014 its completely visual. It'll make close things look slow and far away things look really fast. The only advantage is seeing people you wouldn't be able to see otherwise.
@@thesolidsnek8096 seeing as u have no idea what monitor/TV anyone has you have no idea how that filter will look .......just because it looks better on your setup doesn't mean it will on everyone's
@@ronjones3977 That filter will make the color more vibrant in most cases, there is also a slider to adjust the color filter as you please. If u have a potato tv with inaccurate colors, yes.. it may not have the same effect. But there are 2 other filters for that reason and if you know so qell about your TV/monitor i am sure you can find the right setting for urself.
FYI only one of those is actually gonna change the looks to your game. Figured everyone would pick up on that but for those who didn’t there ya go. Also someone correct me if I’m wrong but hasn’t fov settings existed since the new consoles dropped? I’m pretty sure that was one of the main selling points.
Fidelity FX actually decreases the load because it renders at a lower resolution and uses an upscaling algorithm to upscale the game back to your screen resolution. So you would get more FPS, or less portable heater if you have an FPS limit.
How about get some decent settings and drop a mouse and keyboard in ask me how many computer players reported me for destroying them while they still in a 2000 dollar computer let be honest a ps5 is a very powerful computer
I stand corrected. All of these setting ARE available on next Gen consoles. They just aren’t in the same place as on pc which is what he’s using to show us the settings. On Series X, Fidelity CAS is halfway down the graphics page instead of up top the way it is on pc.
The only 2 settings that will change how the game look are Motion Blur, and Upscaling/Sharpening. Motion Blur will make the game blurred while your camera is in motion... self explanatory. Upscaling/Sharpening will make surfaces have better textures with better edges. This is really the only setting that matters.
@@ImHim696 you call me stupid for saying that’s not how it works? Lol. Tf is wrong with you, must be roids shrinking the wee wee lol. Lag relates to latency. There is no latency increase when you upscale graphics. There is screen tearing, ghosting, frame drop, etc. Also, the series x does all of this and still won’t run hot. So maybe you’re the stupid one?
@@Josh-wb7zh can you tell me what sharpening has to do with graphics? This is why I called you stupid lil guy... when you use fidelityfx and force an upscale of 100% on your shit box that came out when I was still in school then yeah its going to lag because your forcing it to focus on sharpening while attempting to upscale the rest of your settings, I wish I would have this argument with somebody who is idk educated...
@@Josh-wb7zh got anything uneducated to say back to me or are you going to stfu and be called stupid for thinking you can press your opinions on ppl as facts.
This is the first time I've ever heard of FOV in any videogame ever. This is literally top secret stuff right here where did you get this information 🧐
Remember if you change some of these things he is recommending it will automatically change other things, be careful where you get your info from. For example change that fov and it will change your controller sensitive. If you change your screen wider your movement will get slower or take more to move. Every action has a reaction, just saying.
@@J4N-TU4NIt’s an over exaggeration. Your system will run a little hotter though. But nothing a ps5 can’t handle and it really does make your game look entirely better in every way
The only thing that makes a difference is the upscaling/sharpening. The rest of it makes no difference on graphics. Not only will this setting make your device run hotter but a picture too sharp will look like crap.
120 fov isn’t the best option for some players. Making it that high can actually make it harder to land shots since enemies far away will be smaller. Somewhere around the 100-110 works best imo
Kinda depends on the size of your screen and how far away you're sitting from it aswell. I have it on 120, and i sit about 1.5m away from my 43" screen, and have no trouble hitting targets far away.
im on pc and rn pc players are dealing with a crashing bug mostly if not only happens on windows 11 players and for windows 10 little to no crashing happens all messed up 100 dollars down the drain for a game i cant play right
Oh grow the fck up I have windows 11 and my game crashes too I’m still prestige two and have three different classes platinum so I think you’re over exaggerating quite a lot there buddy it ain’t unplayable
My game already looked like that but I just turned it down because if you put it that high you can't even see anyone everyone just blends in with everything if you do that
@@_kinglowe5112 😂😂 rs I saw like 10 short videos saying this and that about settings and how to get ya gun skills up like don’t forget we playing niggas from Xbox, PlayStation and PC
Number one oh Infinity Ward added this That's been in call of duty for four games now maybe not the Fidelity FX I think that's only been in the last two I believe maybe I'm wrong I think I might have even been Cold war yeah vanguard and the new one So those settings are not new weren't just invented number one number two if you want color go to interface and go to the color settings in interface and put on filter to and set the vibrancy of the world and saturation color of the world to and bam beautiful color That's a change the color
I wanna point out that none of these settings effect color contrast, if you really want to make the game more vibrant in your TV settings turn on HDR and make sure your color range is dynamic not the game preset
He did this on a PC… there’s no multiple options of upscale or sharpen on console. Just the fidelity thing, at least on series x. Just a heads up if ye go lookin.
Idk if its available on xbox or older gen consoles, that setting is available on console, but cant be changed to anything else than fidelity fx, u just have the option to turn it on or off
Bro thought that we wouldn't notice he has like 5 different options for sharpening, which there is only 1 on console. Along with every other graphic setting on pc. It looks better on pc because it has more color and options.
