Also, the reason why I would love this filter is so I can start creating a lot more during the day outside. I've been researching filters for a few months but never got around to buying one because most had more cons than pros. But this filter right here sounds exactly like what I've been hoping for and can finally get out a lot more to be inspired to take some Cinematic family footage as well as my travels! Amazing video like always 👏 I would love to win this ND filter because I have been struggling to find the perfect one for the things I do. And this seems the perfect fit to be in my camera. Never owned a ND filter before and this would be a an improvement and important upgrade for me, specifically to get that smooth footage while filming in the sunlight summer days in Sweden🇸🇪. I will honestly tell you.. I like the green colour shift of my ND filter. I use one from KnF and I love that its gives a little green tint as well as makes my footage a little softer. I also prefer the HoYa filters for some reason.

Insane intro! Deserves a like for that! Currently using a K&F VND to get by. This NiSi filter looks amazing. Im currently planning some trips into the Peak District (UK) and this lens would be amazing to showcase all the wonderful colours this beautiful area has to offer. Not to mention less colour correction means more time, more time means more videos!

Best combo = nisi true color vnd + freewell magnetic base screwed onto the nisi and add on the magnetic freewell regular nd if you need more than 5 stops quickly without having to screw off the nisi.

i find 1-5 stops isnt enough when shooting bright outside and wide open, and im trying to find if there's a 6-9 stops for this filter and i guess it's not available yet. hopefully they will release it soon. great product review and shots!

This filter would take care of a Canadian issue we have here, show on a sunny day! I love playing with long exposure shots and the normal color shift can drive a guy off the wall! That filter looks like what we have all wanted for long exposure for a looooong time! Awesome content as always my man!

That filter looks amazing. I've noticed my k&f variable nd has a similar green cast to the Hoya, and horrible x factor when I push it too far. This filter would be so much better for my video work!

50% of the pictures I take are sunset pictures and I could really use an ND filter of this quality to take them to the next level. Many thanks for another great video, love the no-nonsense approach which makes it very easy to understand for a beginner like myself, so really appreciate you taking the time and effort making them - As for the filter itself, i learnt something new today so really helpful and why do i need one ? well my first use would be to hold it to my eye's whilst your video's to tone down the fiery red viking beard just a little bit and after that i may just slap it on my camera for some video and photo's ;-)

Over the last few days, i've spent a lot of time looking for vids on how to color-correct ND filtered videos. I have spent decent money on what I thought were good ND filters but they all add a lot of tint to my vids. If the NiSi does what it says, I would save so much time in the coloring phase of my edits.

I started photography a year ago and it feels like the hype doesnt die out. Im always happy to take my little alpha 6400 with me on every occasion and try to search for some good photos. Any photographer will benefit with this filter. I have been looking for a good VND filter for my canon 6D. I enjoy long exposure photography but during Swedish summers it is not really possible with out an ND. if i get this, i will be able to take some bucket list shots!

I have currently an K&F filter that tends to move out of place all the time! So a filter with proper stops would definitely help, especially one with colors like that one! And I currently live in Cyprus and there is no way you can go outside without an ND filter 🤣🤣🤣

Holy Smokes!! That cinematic intro was insanely good. Those transitions on with the guitar, absolutely beautiful, great editing and very thoughtful shots... and by far best review structure, very enjoyable. I have a cheap K&F ND. Haha "Fail". I love color, color matching/grading photography. It's my form of meditation and how I keep my head up and excited for the next photo I take. If I won, I'd celebrate by having tacos and I'd photograph the tacos, with all the beautiful colors that make up a taco. Haha

I need a variable ND for the simple fact that I don't have any for my lenses. All of my lenses are vintage lenses, I have a super takumar 50 1.4, a mamiya 55 1.4, a Samyang 18-24 f4, and a Vivitar 135mm f2.8, but the threads are WRECKED on that one because I bought it used, haha. Might have to pick up another so I can make it work. Regardless, I love my vintage lenses and having a variable ND that I can step up ring adapt to for these lenses would be awesome.

I've just bought a Sony A7 III after saving up for a year. I'm currently finishing my thesis and looking forward to having more time to improve and learn after having used my first ever camera, EOS M100 for almost 3 years. I mostly shoot during travelling to islands or beaches. Most of the times the sun lights are very too bright, which is not very good for me using my a6000 with 1/4000 as the fastest shutter speed

Can I add a filter on another one without adapters if they have the same size, for instance 77mm? so I’d like to put a black mist on a 77mm diameter lens and then a nd+cpl filter on the black mist. Without holder or adapter can I? Thank you for explaning I really appreciated! ☺ I have a question for you, thank you in advance for answring... I would like to use the lens Sony 24-105mm on my Sony A7IV, then I would like to apply a Nisi Black Mist on it, and on the black mist I’d like to put the ND64 6stops + CPL integrated filter by Nisi. Will I make a mess of my photos and videos? Would this be a bad choice to make? Is the 24-105mm G really less sharp, bidimensional, sad looking and not good in night, low light or indoors situations? Cause my intention is to get a tridimensional, cinematic looking on my photos and videos.

The NiSi true colour ND is also a polariser. Why has no reviewer ever mentioned this??? I never use mine because of this. I almost feel scammed.

Да, но сколько f? f2.8? Нет скорей всего, потому что ярко слишком было бы. Может iso 100? Ну, возможно. Но при нативном iso 800, 1/50 и f 2.8 фильтра недостаточно. Нужно больше затемнение

in all of the nd filter videos they show photos with and without and i dont find it useful because we have to see what is before and after , this is very useful.Also my shooting time is either in the morning or in the evening so i cant shoot in a sunny wheather so i have to switch to hd 120p so some of the exposure is saved, and that too with 2000 shutter speed all the time, and the best filters i cant afford, so this is the reason i want this filter.

to be honest dealing with color shifting are trying to cook a rice but you forget clean it first!! i own some ND filter from some brand one of them shift to yellow one of them shift to magenta one of them even made subject look like AVATAR....... the blue one...... hope this one appear on local market near me because if it's really true color i would kick the other to put this in my bag lol (eventhough there's no Mist filter inside but i can figure out about it lol)

Awesome video and very inspiring intro. When you started talking, I wondered first: “Why does he still have long hair?”😅. But very well done, great review. I would like to win the NiSi True Colour VND, because I bought the Sony ZV E10 with the Kit lens, the Sigma 16mm f1.4 and the 18-105mm f.4, one week ago. It’s my first own camera and I bought the Sony 18-105mm f.4, which you recommended as a all rounder lens in “My 5 Best Sony APSC Lenses for Video & Photography!”. The purchase of the camera and these lenses is the reason, why I have no pocketmoney left, to buy my own NiSi True Colour VND😂. When the camera arrived, I ran out and start taking photos of some flowers with the Sigma lens. Unfortunately, I always had to put the lens on f.4 or higher to manage the bright sunlight. Because of that the image hadn’t much Bokeh. Therefore, I think the variable ND-Filter would be one of the best solutions to fix this problem.

Sure, to be fair tho then I sponsor less than 5% of my content because I'm very picky with what companies I work with. It has to be a product or a service that I use myself and would do videos about without getting paid. This filter is one of these products. Perhaps the problem is not with your channel, perhaps it is my personal subjetive perception, but try it, open RU-vid, you will see that right now it is full of "paid collaborations", that is, advertising, of all the photo and video youtubers, the new nikon or the new 360. My feeling is that youtube is just a big constant ad. And that is just sad. Thanks for your work, anyway.

We are creating content for free and personally I'm working more or less day and evenings and often weekends too. But I agree there needs to a balance.
