The SA-87i is one of the better Neumann U87 clones I've heard after purchasing this mic. I wish I had an Actual u87 to compare to this but I figured hearing it on it's own will be enough for someone looking for a solid u87 Clone!

I got one and am completely blown away at how amazing it is! I’ve used vintage U87s and the Stam is spot on (maybe even better?) It’s totally satisfied my U87 desire. I can use the money I saved not buying a U87 to buy other gear.

You should try gtz87 mic. I compared it with stam mic and they sounds almost identical. Only difference is price. gtz87 cost 150$.

Atleast it’s got a shock mount glad I pick this over the TLM103 I don’t think I want the tube version because tube mic aren’t good on guitar.
