That was great Paul to hear this organ! I find it a joy to play on GrandOrgue and it is my favourite non-Piotr Grabowski sample set. Noeske did a very good job, and it brought an unassuming Kassel suburb to my attention, the church is very airy inside by the looks of it

Thank you so much for this video. I am a huge Grand Orgue fan, and this set sounds brilliant! I followed your link and downloaded it! This set downloaded fast, installed with no fuss (some GO sample sets are complex to install -- this one was a breeze, just a click here or there!) GO loads it very quickly in use, and it sounds lovely! Your presentation of the stops is really helpful in figuring out registration.

I confirm my first impression. Feeling this sample is not so natural (for me 😅). But the conditions of recording claimed by the author would certainly explain that.
Paul, you should perhaps have mentioned that its recorded in Binaural Stereo, which means you need to listen through (closed) headphones for best effect? Brilliant demonstration (as always) - thanks. BTW Oloron sample set from Piotr Grabowksi also features a coupling manual.
So when you say it’s free, does that mean you’ll fly over with the console and speakers to the States and install it in my home for me? How sweet and thoughtful of you. Should we plan a date for that?

Hi Paul - What a demo and organ! It's now my favourite. Even the 3rd keyboard manual coupling worked first off thanks to your numbering hint from top to bottom. I have one niggle the top last 5 notes of each keyboard don't play. Could you help me with this please? Thanks 30SWG
@@PaulFey Thank you for replying but I cannot find 'Grand Orgue' anywhere. I have downloaded 7Gb of wav files of individual notes which only open on VLC but that's it. The organ files are about 200 euro.
Why when I downloaded it a message pops up called: Failed to open the graphic '\kassel-niederzweheren-akte/spietlisch.png ? How to fix this? Can someone link me a file to download to solve this?
Forgive me, this is not collection sample of stops recorded at different locations combined by the company to form an organ, but just of one church in Netherlands? If so, could you go record in the original so we can see how this actually compared?
@@PaulFey Thank You for answering. Yup this sample set works on PC with 4GB memory (16bit 44.1khz lossles compression) however I suggest minimum 8GB for this sample set.
I've always referred to your home organ as being "Hauptwerk." Now I see that's also a particular software. Your title description mentions "Grand Orgue" as another type of software, apparently not compatible with Hauptwerk. Is your home organ able to use both of these? Perhaps I should refer to it by maker. (For instance, I know Gert van Hoef's home instrument is by Content). Chicago, U.S.A.
