Paolo! 😁 Your channel was recommended to me by a food streamer I usually watch on Kick and iv been binging your videos and vods ever since! 🙏 I dont comment often bro, but wanted to say that I love your content, keep it up brother! 👊
For me, your channel is you, your personality, how respectful and kind you are to business owners and guests. I would watch you visit anything anywhere. Looking forward to some new stuff! ❤️
I would love to see a global Day-in-the-Life series. Not the easiest to produce, but it would be amazing to see how people live and work around the world. Yall are the best!
I knew you grew up in the US, seeing you being excited. Such a waste, if you did not make a hidden gem or food spots video in New York. You are just being resourceful ❤
Yes not only Japan but the rest of the world if possible. You are very knowledgeable and the way you put in your videos step by step with information is only what YOUR channel does. Please keep up the good work. Thank you Paolo!
This was probably the happiest and most excited I’ve seen Paolo. Lived ine the east-side of Manhattan for four years, Love New York, man this video making me want to move back. And… we all know the best pizza 🍕 is artichoke and Basille’s..
I’m a New Yorker and I didnt even know about these places 😂 but PLEASE don’t stop The day in a life in japan videos. I rewatch those videos everyday I highly appreciate the effort you put behind scenes, you do an amazing job job!
Let's go! Any family trip or anything vlog is 110% worthy of my time and everyone else's. Thanks for your time and effort and sharing with your beautiful family.
I don't see why not, I mean It doesn't hurt to feature food from different countries and places! It just makes your channel grow bigger! And besides, if your there for a vacation, why not mix business with pleasure, right? It's like hitting two birds with one stone!
Awesome Food. When you said you were going to New York , I was hoping you'd do a food video and you did not disappoint. Everything looked so GOOD . Thanks .
This is actually a really good food list. most youtubers and even television shows miss so hard with these lists. you can tell you did your homework or had a New Yorker actually show you around. Thanks man, god bless your family. love seeing this channel grow. gang gang.
Food looked amazing but NYC prices are out of control. Also the video forgot to mention those prices were pretip which has risen here in North America.
You may start watching Paolo's channel for the Japan content, but you stay for Paolo and his lovely family. Only channel I watch religiously. Even my 1 year old is a fan 😂, calls him "Pablo".
Welcome to NYC! Love what you share from Japan, and happy to see you enjoying my hometown. Def would love to see you doing more travel videos outside of Japan. Have a great time!
I love the traveling outside of Japan. It’s nice and refreshing to see from your perspective. Plus I love your voice and video style and seeing you travel with your wife and son.
Love it. We will watch wherever you go. We followed you during our 2 years in Japan and now we’re back in the US but still watch for our Japan fix. Keep up the awesome work.
Awesome video! I think you're onto something. I love the Japan-based videos but loved the New York one too. Please do more international videos: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Barcelona, Prague, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manila, Sydney, Buenos Aires, and on and on!
I love this. I live on Eastern Long Island and I'm a bit of an introvert. I plan on bringing my friend in Russia to see the Bronx Zoo, and the Museum of Natural History and Planeterium this year so this video is fantastic because it helps me to see where we can go to eat!!!! Thank you my friend!
Paolo I don't care where you go. You are always entertaining and I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work and thank you for being a channel that I look forward to when you upload.
Paolo was in NYC! Welcome. Hope you had fun. Sometimes I'm jealous of people who did not grow up in NYC. They get to experience that first time visiting NY thing 😂
I LOVE YOUR VIDEO!!! Went to Japan and hit some of the places you recommended and everything was legit awesome so i know whichever country u decided to go, your video and review is always reliable. Please don't ever stop making this type of video. looking forward to more amazing stuff ❤
This NYC food video is great! You are such a likeable guy with an enjoyable style. I'm a fan of yours, so wherever you go, and whatever the subject, I'll be watching 👍
Have loved your Tokyo content for years and its helped me figure out places to go when in Tokyo, so its great to see your recs in my city! Hope you enjoyed your trip
Thank you for sharing these!! I will have to rewatch and write down the places to visit! I hope the hang out in Brooklyn went well and when you come back give a heads up again so I can join!
My old stomping grounds! I’m currently living in Osaka but was born and raised in NYC. Great video! I’ve been following you for about four years, ever since I moved to Japan, and you’ve inspired me to start my own channel. Keep up the awesome work-fantastic video and editing. I’m learning a lot. Thank you!
Loooove John’s in “Gren’ich” Village (how to pronounce) 😊 We brought a cousin there; as a local we were surprised that she’d never been. Like what?! Can’t go wrong with the food trucks. That’s how to lunch al fresco in Midtown 🎉 You found some gems!
Travelling food reviews are always welcome, as long as it's not another Disneyland food review. Just remember what really sets you apart is the day in the life series which as facinating.
Welcome to ny. I think it was super adorable how you said the word Greenwich wrong. Love it. Gave me a chuckle. I would have had your family over for dinner if I knew you were coming bro!!!!
It's fun to see videos that are different from what you normally upload, for example this New York video, but personally for me, your channel should stay the way it is - most of the content in or about Japan. That's why the majority subscribed in the first place
Welcome to my city, Paolo! I wished that you would have seen Taiyaki NYC shop. They make cute ice cream designs with Taiyaki pastries as cones! You and the family would have loved it!
Go travel the world bro, Mark Weins doesn’t upload nearly enough, we need more content. Thank you for the food recommendations in Tokyo, I tried some of them and loved every single one of them. ❤
Hi Paolo and Maiko, I really love what you do on the channel and look forward to seeing more from other countries. Personally, I’d be happy just to see Maiko feature in more videos! Looking forward to your next upload.
Those are some great spots you've visited in New York, but it's a bit unfortunate that you missed out on exploring some of the lesser-known, non-tourist areas where the real local flavors come to life. In neighborhoods like Spanish Harlem and parts of the Bronx, you'd have encountered authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, where the air is filled with the mouthwatering aromas of pernil (roast pork), mofongo (fried plantains mashed with garlic and pork cracklings), and pasteles (a traditional dish similar to tamales but made with green bananas and yautía instead of corn). Spanish Harlem, in particular, is a treasure trove of Puerto Rican flavors, with family-owned restaurants and food trucks serving dishes that are both comforting and bursting with flavor. If you had ventured here, you could have experienced how Puerto Rican food balances savory and sweet, using ingredients like plantains, coconut, rice, beans, and different meats in ways that bring a depth of flavor to each bite. And when it comes to Caribbean cuisine, especially Jamaican food, Queens is a must-visit, especially Jamaica, Queens. The neighborhood has a rich Jamaican community, and the food reflects that vibrancy. You’d find jerk chicken that’s perfectly spiced, curried goat that melts in your mouth, and patties-those flaky pastry pockets filled with seasoned beef or chicken-that are a staple of Jamaican street food. The use of ingredients like scotch bonnet peppers, pimento, thyme, and allspice create a complexity in dishes that is truly unique. Jamaican cuisine isn’t just about the heat; it’s also about comfort food like ackee and saltfish (the national dish), oxtail stewed until tender, and hearty rice and peas cooked in coconut milk. The balance of spices and natural flavors is a hallmark of the Caribbean. And let’s not forget about soul food down in Harlem! The soul food experience there is legendary, with iconic dishes like fried chicken, collard greens, black-eyed peas, and macaroni and cheese. These meals are deeply rooted in the African American history of the South, brought to New York during the Great Migration. Each bite of soul food is rich with tradition-cornbread with just the right amount of sweetness, candied yams that are soft and caramelized, and barbecue ribs that fall off the bone. Harlem is where you’d really experience the history and soul of African American cooking. It’s not just about the food but also the hospitality, where many places serve you as if you were family, ensuring you leave full and satisfied. Each of these neighborhoods-Spanish Harlem, Jamaica, Queens, and Harlem-offers a unique and rich culinary journey that speaks to the cultural diversity and history of the people who live there. By visiting these local gems, you would’ve experienced New York’s incredible culinary scene beyond just the tourist spots, where the real heart and soul of the city lie in every plate served. very long sorry
Love John's of Bleecker. Delicious pizza no matter which one you order. Had a friend in town earlier this month, and we had lunch there again before he flew out. It's worth going to every time lol. Cool to see you stopping by NYC and doing a video. If you ever need anymore ideas of places to go when you come back, I'll drop some thoughts.
Perfect video timing. I'm going to NYC in a few days. I like that you picked restaurants that aren't out of reach. There are more expensive and hard to reserve restaurants in NY. Hope to see vegetarian-friendly options.
I want to see more foods with PaoIo's hot sauce on it. New recipes that need some spice. Can you get them to try it on Hot Ones? Like a guest hot sauce with Paolo trying the wings?
