Stay tuned for PART 2 where we will compare another 4 flagships and in PART 3 we will battle the winners from part 1 & 2 together to reveal the ULTIMATE winner of night mode 😎 subscribe to be notified when the next video is up! 👍🏼
One thing I've learned from camera comparisons is that there's no one camera that does everything better than others. In order to properly compare these phones, you have to make sure they are all in the same color mode. Some come with Vivid mode as default setting and some also have extra sharpening turned on.
Low light is definitely tough even with 1 inch sensors. A good software and hardw combo is needed. Although it's pretty impressive that Samsung and Google is able to create a somewhat usable brightened images while Oppo and Vivo is less noisy. Maybe in time we'll see a more capable hardware and software combo by either brands, especially for videos.
@@Carlduran In night mode, the S24U may be a bit over-processed, but not at all in automatic mode, then it produces a natural display, only slightly fine grainy noise, which makes me e.g. I do not mind.
Vivo X100 its already the king of night, i only imagine what the vivo x100 ultra could do with 3 new sensors(uw, main, tele) and an upgraded version of their V3 chip image processing...
I'd argue that the Vivo shots are too bright for "night" photography, but I know that always comes down to personal preference. Love the channel, keep up the good work
Good testing, not diverse enough though. Should have tried with different clothes as colors are important, and darker scenes with no external city lights.
There’s currently only 2 of us shooting the videos and have limited time so we try our best but we are always looking to improve so we will take your point into consideration! Thanks for watching 😊
Oppo find X7 ultra is the best camera mobile that oppo has ever made! Very sad that its not released globally, good comparison and take a bow for the efforts 👏
when comparing photos I tend to crop the image to see the defects and in my opinion by doing so Samsung deserved even fewer points, however for social use they are analyzed well
I think the majority of people do not take photos in night mode, but in automatic mode, which should have been tested. In night mode, the S24U may be a bit over-processed, but not at all in automatic mode, then it produces a natural display, only slightly fine grainy noise, which makes me e.g. I don't mind, I like it better. There might have been a different result.
no no! How were you able to select oppo to portrait mode at 5:49 rating? I think your eyes don't see very well. The one with the most success and clarity was vivo.
As per 7:37 taken perhaps on a dslr, her jacket colour is red and not pink But it's represented pinkish by all other phones except the Vivo, in the previous 2 photos
The iPhone is missing and so is the Xiaomi, would've been a better comparison with either of these slotting in instead of Samsung or Pixel, that's just me ig.
They’re coning in part 2 😉 8 phones at once is a little tough to compare as the images would be far too small on the screen for you guys to see things properly!
@@versus_com yess that's why I said "instead of". I understand it's unrealistic to not only test that many phones but also display them in a youtube vid, so I suggested that you could swap them out. Anyways, glad to hear that they're coming! Keep up the good work. A tip tho, you should try one of either : 1.) Have a DSLR to stand as a reference to all photos, tune the exposure just right so that even if it's too dark/blowing out highlights, it's providing an accurate representation of the scene. 2.) Use the Pro mode in the phone with the best optics and tune the photo to come out as close to reality as you can. Hope you do one of these as it will severely improve the weight of whatever you say/think since you have a reference and if your description is close to the reference no one can complain about the video. P.S I love the fact that you take shots of human subjects for the most part, that's exactly what we need!
Great idea to make several videos on the same subject in several rounds, nothing like it to keep you in suspense. You find your style and that's good. Just one thing that bothers me, I always have the impression that the final result comes from your personal choice, don't forget to rely on your team for the final choices. You do a detailed job but something is missing to be on top, zoom pics and zoom video, it will come.
The vivo x100 pro needs to be retested by the Dxomark team. It occupies an undeserved place at the moment, in my opinion and according to all the testers, it is in the top 5.
But how about if you please have the phones with the professional camera with which you filmed with it like a comparison which mobile phone looks almost as good as with a professional camera. 😍
Vivo is an all-rounder.. Not only its Main Cam is good, also zoom, ultrawide, front selfie and video also very2 good. If its daylight, other phones would probably beat Vivo but in night time, No contest. If you say otherwise, you're clearly a fanboy
What I don't understand is what is the thing you are rewarding in a picture. Obviously you want to look good, but most of the times you punish underexposure or iver exposure, and some times like the dark photo on the roof you reward a very dar image where I can not even see your face, and you instead praise the building behind? If you are interested in the building, why put yourself as part of the equation? Some times points are guided by some sort of science and some times are guided by arbitrary personal preference. If that is the case, why should we be watching videos with commentary? I must be missing something.
I would still go for the Vivo cause when things don't work for him, it still manages to make the most if it. That is what separates the good from the awesome.
Regardless of results, you all have one of the best comparison channels. No nonsense, nice editing and to the point. I would like to see a true scoring system. 1,2,3 or 4. No ties for each category.
It doesn't matter photos looks natural or unnatural. What matters most photos should be eye pleasing to others. 90% people edit their photos after taking the shots.
I'm a little worried about samsung because almost at every video I watch on this channel, the samsung alway ends up in last place for wide photos. I hope this will be fixed with the s25 ultra
You I don't really know why your s24u is lacking behind, because other reviewers claims s24u as improve after the last update, what are you really preaching to the to your subscribers, everyone knows samsung for one thing which is the camera and it as been representing the android for years, going head to head with the iPhone for years, and this same s24u as been crown 👑 as the king of android smartphone since lunched..... and people need to check other reviewers to confirm this.......
No. Maybe you just ignore the Chinese concurrents in your life. But look, even the pixel is struggling to keep up with the other two. Makes sense, they are both bbk subsidiaries. And idk but Samsung just messed up something with the s24. In all review the contrast - exposure balance is lagging a bit behind. I think we just have to be honest, that Vivo and oppo are just doing an insane job, so good, that you think Samsung is missing an update.
Samsung is all rounder phone like business parpus It's camera like 10/9.9 Software 10/10 Durablty 10/9,10 Security 10/8,9 Samsung make all rounder phone not only camera sentric phone
