Mario & Luigi is an RPG series. It has turn-based battles with timed hits, like Super Mario RPG and the first two Paper Mario games. There are platform-like sections, but the games are largely RPGs with an emphasis on puzzle solving. The games also have a Metroidvania complexity to their world design, where the world teases you with all these areas you can’t get to until you have the right ability. They’re pretty fun!
Your reaction to the new Zelda game was so cute. I can't wait to play it and I completly agree that nintendo should port Twilight Princess and Wind Waker. But finally after 7 years Nintendo give us a first look at Prime 4.
Absolutely the best Nintendo Direct ever. Pre-purchased DQIII and Investigations already; incredibly excited for the new Zelda games, and hoping Prime 4 ties in with the new Switch release.
Super Mario Party Jamboree is a sequel to Super Mario Party, but its a mix of Super Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars. They don't give Mario Party DLC treatment because they make more money selling a new game for full price (£50-£60) in this series as opposed to £20 DLC. Of course, it can totally change, but since its been a staple since the first game, and its working, from Nintendo's POV, this method is better financially.
Perfect dark has sooo much content and really fun multiplayer where you can program the bots to have different personalities. It was ahead of its time and one of my favorite games as a kid. I hope you get to try it!
Many have no idea how big the news of a new Phantom Brave actually is. Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is the second game in the Phantom Brave series. The first game came out 20 years ago in 2004 which was enhanced and rereleased on wii, psp & Steam. I wish I had played the original PS2 game back in the day. It was and is a very unique and rightfully quirky game. Everyone that skips over Phantom Brave is missing out on something truly special.
Claims to be bad at platformers, yet concerned with frame rate... you, miss Midnababy, are an enigma! 😂 (I just mean that the first suggests a "casual" attitude toward gaming, which is fine, and the second suggests "hardcore technical gamer" lol. Almost every video so far I find out something new about you... some unexpected opinion. Very cool.)
There's been 5 mario and luigi games (Brothership is gonna be the 6th one.) and they are all BANGERS, they are so good and I would HIGHLY recommend pretty much all of them. (Mario and Luigi paper jam is a bit mid but still good, and all the other ones are great. My favorite is bowsers inside story.)
Twilight princess has been ported twice already :D. it currently exists to play on GameCube, Wii, Wii U. so if wanna play them. just get either of those :3. and considering its one of ur favo zelda games, im sure you can already play it on any of the other consoles ^^
That reaction 😂 The wait has been long, but we finally have a Zelda game where Zelda is finally the protagonist haha ❤ Very happy that they announced a new Fairy Tail game!! 🥰 I love that anime and am currently reading the manga.
I've never seen your channel, but when you mentioned that you're waiting on Elden Ring and FFXIV Dawntrail, then I had to stay tuned in 😎💪🏼 And, what?? You haven't played Dragon Quest? Lawd, you need to play!! P.S. it would also be awesome to actually get some Twilight Princess and Wind Waker on Switch. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
If I'm honest, I thought that we'd only see one or two big games from Nintendo and the rest would be third party since a new system is on the horizon. Boy was I wrong! New Mario and Luigi, new Zelda, Metriod Prime 4 full reveal and an HD remaster, Nintendo had a lot to offer. And other studios came out too! The Switch in 2024 is still alive and well!
I wouldn't worry too much about platforming in Mario and Luigi. It's primarily and RPG series, so the platforming is mostly linked to button presses depending on what you're doing. Since it's not a co-op game, stuff like the brothers linking hands and jumping up that cliff are likely just button presses and not much else. Like, maybe you have to move the joystick to the side before pressing A again, but it's probably not much more complicated than that. On a side note, if you have Switch Online, the first game is included with the GBA library.
Superstars was great. But since they've also released like of the original mario party games on the n64 expansion, those are somewhat dlc like for free since those have all the old boards and games.
True! I was just hoping more mini games and boards would get the remake treatment, because there are so many good ones!! I feel like they could’ve easily added Jamboree as DLC content to Superstars instead
@@Midnababy it looked like it was, too, until they said otherwise. I thought the same thing. All the latest mario party games as a whole look like we'll eventually get dlc for them, but they just put out a new game. It's always annoying for about 5 seconds, and then they win us over, and we buy it anyway. They're evil geniuses. Lol
The whole direct was so good, i am excited for donkey kong country returns, zelda echoes of wisdowm, metroid prime 4, mario party jamboree and mario luigi brothership!
You gotta play Prime 1 at the very least!!! Required reading if you’re a Nintendo fan! One of the most immersive games you will ever play, with some of the most atmospheric areas and most beautiful music (probably my favorite game soundtrack EVER)
Clickbait title. No offense, but this direct was mostly mid. That being said, Metroid Prime 4 and Zelda both look amazing. ❤ Mario Party and Mario and Luigi look great too.
