Made this several times. Everyone loved it. I like to mix in the lemon juice after you create the batter. Also grate lemon zest on top 👌🐸

I made this last night to have as a V-Day treat and it is seriously one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. No substitutions, though I really wanted to use Neufchâtel. Baked the crust...0 regrets. 2 pieces eaten...many lactose intolerance-related regrets.

You know, I feel like I want more no-stand-mixer recipes. Everybody has an oven. I have a food processor I don't want to clean, but no stand mixer (which I would also prefer not to clean). But the baking is really the easiest part -- I'm not sure why people worry about baking.

Daniel Hakimi yeah, not having a good stand mixer is super limiting. They last forever and a half though, so it’s not too dumb a purchase. The reason people worry about baking is because baked cheesecake is a type of custard, so you kinda have to baby it if you don’t want the top to crack and look bad. It’s really no big deal, but it upsets a lot of people

I also avoid baking over the summer because heat. That said I rarely meet a stand mixer recipe that can't be done with my $20 hand mixer or some elbow greese, including this one, which I've made.

Omg just made this and added a bit more lemon juice and a few spoonfuls of sour cream and the filling tastes Soo good. Just letting it chill overnight in the fridge to chill

When Marie Antoinette said: "Let them eat cake"!! if it was this cake, especially the purple one, she may have kept her head!! Gonna make this today, don't have the stand mixer, but my wife's mother's old mix master should work, it being a veteran of many old time "just desserts"!! :D

Just two thing's where can I find the recipe, and when you process the berries and sugar, can you sift it, to get the seed's out, reason is, I'm not allowed to eat seed's of any kind, wheather small or large, thank's for the video look's really yummy Nicky

I just made a cheese cake yesterday (with eggs) I'm gonna stop dat ! and use your recipe I use strawberry flavoring and inserted thinly sliced fresh strawberries after baking and cooling some

I don't like crust with any pie or cheesecake I just leave it behind. I usually butter My springform Pan on the bottom and sprinkle some graham cracker crumbs and that's usually it. PS I spread the bottom of the springform pan with melted butter not cold it's going to get cold anyway. I find that using melted butter is easier and works fine.

I know this sounds kinda crazy but what about adding a little bit of melted butter to the filling? Once cooled it would slightly set and act as a stabilizer I feel like. Anyone? Thoughts?

But it'd also melt the cream cheese and whipping cream in there, if you wanna add butter, I'd not melt it before hand.

I followed the directions to a T but my filling was runny.🤷‍♀️ I ended up adding gelatine to it so it would set. Fingers crossed it sets up properly tomorrow.🤞

There are some people out there that say a “ No Bake Cheesecake” is not a Real cheesecake , Other People say if they had to make a traditional cheesecake they don’t know what we are missing , SO much controversy can’t WE ALL JUST GET ALONG, and have a slice 😀😋😋😋😋😋😋😛😛

Since a "real cheesecake" is technically a custard pie and no-bake ones (usually) don't have eggs, it's really more of a cream cheese-flavored whipped cream pie...which I'd still very much enjoy anyway.

@@johncipriano3627 Right, you've touched on something vital I've noticed on these food videos. Many just have to be critical, which is fine, but just do what you want, eat what you want, and if you have a better way, let's see it on your YT channel. "Traditional" is fine if you have time or the right special/hard to find ingredients, especially for "ethnic" foods! OMG are they ever "rabid" about their freaking cooking traditions! Come on, folks! We all know that world-wide there are some "ethnic" cooking/eating traditions we would never want any part of, like eating bugs, grubs, monkeys, dogs, snakes, fruit bats...etc. ;anyway, you get the picture!! So, I'll take this "non-traditional" cheese cake instead, thank you very much!! I enjoyed the video, nicely presented, and will make this cheesecake today. Maybe the purple one, just to be more "non-traditional". No "food police" in this country,....at least not yet!! ;D

Two words too kick this up a notch - Key. Lime. DeeeeLish! I learned to make this pie with Neufchâtel cheeze and it never disappoints. Best Key Lime Pie evah! If you want a different flavor crust try putting your favorite cookie (I like Lorna Doone's for this one) into your food processor. It works a treat.

I make an awesome baked New York cheesecake that I used to sell. I don't like fluffy so I think I would have a bit more cream cheese and taste it for sugar.

My cookie (biscuit) base, did not come out well, I ground it really fine, added the butter and pressed it down HARD and froze it. It was uncuttable, like armour plate, even when thawed. Do not do this.

Awesome. I just watched a video in which a person said take cream cheese, sugar, a little salt, etc. yeah, because without exact measurements I will be totally able to make that cake. Not.
