it's more simple to use simple double knot(not square note) then take one end more then other it wiil transform in locking knot then you make tension as you need, after add 2-3 more secure knots.
Anything where you need a self-cinching knot. As an example, you can use it in proximal humerus fractures treated with reverse total shoulder replacement when you reduce the tuberosities back onto the stem. Hope that helps!
