I also recommend Deeper Ocean, Ocean World (if you want mostly oceans), Ocean Architect and Hybrid Aquatics. You have to test the compatibility but these make the generation more ocean based

i came back to playing modded minecraft recently, and i wanted to check out some videos for mod recommendations. My god did i found it. This vid was so high quality, if you keep this up you will have so many more subs, mark my words! :D ❤
Fish of Thieves might be a cool addition too. This mod adds the fishes from the game Sea of Thieves with their same spawn requisites, like Battlegills spawning on sunken ships, Pondfish on certain ponds and every one loved fish: The Splashtail! (I swear I’m terminating them, but they’re nice). And in theory you should be able to display them, even decorate the display. Pretty nice.
Instead of Scuba Gear you can use Create mod in order to craft a bit more balanced in terms of capabilities-upkeep relations gear, being the diving helmet, diving boots and an air tank which you have to connect to a kinetic energy source in order to have it charge with air
That was an amazing video ! Honestly when I clicked I thought you had at least 50k subs, you really deserve more ! Anyways, being a mod junkie myself I would like to suggest a few more mods like survival islands, which basically makes the entire world an ocean with small islands, ice and fire for the sea serpents which are a heck of a threat, the sirens and the underwater horses and lastly L_ender's cataclysm which is a massive boss mod that also adds an enormous structure with unique mobs to fight and a cracked boss named the leviathan that you can summon on the middle of it, now on to downloading I go !
Oh and also Alex's mobs adds a few sea creatures like flying fish, giant squids, whales(with a rare mobi dik variant) a few sharks and a jellyfish that can give you an item to make all blocks/items have a rainbow effect.
Also, check out swashbucklers and Aleki’s nifty ships for alternatives to small ships. Also also, L-Ender’s Cataclysm adds a giant ocean dungeon and bosses!
two other ones that fit are: alex mobs and bens sharks. alexs mobs ads not only a couple of fish but also sperm whales and collosal squids and bens sharks adds a lot of sharks and new items and best of all it makes tridents craftable
