@@BulbFacts any chances the ballast when bad? previously my stock headlight (osram/philips bulb) was so dim. changed to the new zrsj bulbs no noticeable in brightness. the ignitor is built in (D1S type)
@@eddyann2 when you go with a cheaper brand, you risk the beam quality. I would try a set of brand name bulbs from OSRAM or Philips, and see if that helps. The ballast can be expensive to replace, so that should be secondary. You could also try swapping the two bulbs if you suspect only one ballast to be bad. I don't believe the ballast will make the bulb dim though, it will work or it won't. Hope that helps.
Excellent info I’m about 10 years late finding your information. It’s very hard to find unbiased data especially that coming from the sellers of the after market like morimoto and the likes. Not cool. Thanks so much bulb facts I really appreciate your effort and work here! I will compare my own data but this looks spot on! Awesome knowledge base!
@@BatterUp201 thanks glad it is helpful! We remain true to the results and always decline paid sponsors and offers. Stay tuned for more videos including vehicle specific testing coming up.

Thanks! We don't sell anything, and purchase everything for testing. Nothing is biased, sponsored, etc. and we keep it that way by declining all offers from companies!
Thanks Austin, glad it was helpful! We plan to start testing the other bulbs like reverse, turns, etc. sometime this year, so be sure to check back later!
The NBL's are a great option, and a top choice in the community, you'll love the improved output! Circle back if you get a moment to share an update for others though.
I was looking forward to these Xenon reviews. Why didn't you include deAutoLED options? You guys have recommended these in the past, and was looking to buy them for my Durango.
Hey George! Yes it took us a while but we wanted to ensure the tests were done to the fullest extent before doing a video. The DeAuto product didn’t fair well and is no longer recommended, but it’s still a great product. We are waiting for their new model to test soon.
Hi guys yes sorry it looks like they are no longer available. The next best option from Amazon would be the DMEX. They are very bright and actually whiter over the ZRSJ's; amzn.to/3jIvU1y . If you want something simliar in performance to the ZRSJ but at a higher quality take a look at the GT Ultra's from PowerBulbs; link.bulbfacts.com/8c0ba , again a nice pure white we tested just at 5000k (for their 4300k model).
Your the best bulb guy in the game. Thanks for your work. I have a lot of LED. QUESTION LED VS HID WHICH IS BETTER AND PROS CONS, and WHAT DO YOU RUN IN YOUR CAR? I Had hid burned out fast got hot LED been cool but curious about the facts please advise!
Thanks Brett, I appreciate that :) Check out our article regarding some of your questions here: bulbfacts.com/help. Personally, my bulbs are always changing as I am always testing, but my preferred setup is a xenon projector with a good D2S (OSRAM, Philips, etc) and since I drive a German car, i use DeAuto LED products as they work well on the CANBUS system and have never failed. If you have problems with HID though, you may want to consider the premium brands like Morimoto (aftermarket), but if you have stock xenons, then the OSRAM and Philips brands would be best and last the longest, provide the best precision, etc. Let me know if you have any other questions though!
For D1S, the ZRSJ appears to only come in 4300k, 6000k & 8000k on Amazon. Which would you recommend? This is to replace the current OEM bulbs in my 2008 Audi Q7 that are starting to turn pink.
Hi mml060709, it's up to you, but we haven't tested the other colors to know for sure, but they do seem to run low, so we could assume a 6000k may be closer to 5500k. Just keep in mind the ZRSJ are a lower quality replacement, while bright may not last too long.
Love this page. I need some help. I have the 20 Ram 1500 Night Edition. I wasn’t able to get the premium lighting on it but I love the look of those bulbs. If I want that look what do you think is a better option 5000 or 6000 k and also do you think I should go HID over LED? Please help me lol!
If you have reflectors, stick with LED. HID is best for projectors. 5000k is better for all around weather including snow. If you live in mostly clear conditions, go with 6000k. OEM Xenon is going to be around 4300k, however newer models are using around 5500k in LED, with Mercedes even higher for some reason (for a unique look we believe).
After seeing this video i ordered GT Ultra d3s on a 2013 VW. Have just another car like it and on it we have Osram NB Laser. The Laser from Osram is way brighter, we lined up the cars and the GT Ultras are Weak. The lux meter test confirmed it. Right after that we lined up my cousins 2017 S class W222 with the LED and it its like 5X brighter that both the Laser NB and GT Ultra together. BulbFacts, any idea what type of led bulbs are on that Mercedes?
Hey shkelqim, thanks for sharing! The output will also depend on the projector bowl, but our results are based on D2S bulbs primarily, so perhaps the GT Ultra in D3S is not as strong per your finding. For the Mercedes, they use the latest in technology in the S-Class, always far ahead of other companies, so that is expected. Here is some information from Merc on their latest headlights; www.mercedes-benz.com/en/innovation/vehicle-development/let-there-be-light-the-led-headlamps-of-the-future-e-class/
Have you tested RCP brand sold on amazon ? I have the 6000k and I would like to know the spec’s on these bulbs. They seem to be pretty bright. I can’t find any reviews about them.
Hey Larry! We did, you can find the results on our chart here: www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/chart/ (Just expand the Amazon products to find it). They did very well for a cheap product. Longevity is the real question though and something we'll be testing for next.
I am guessing the GT Ultra Xenons are not built any more the same way they were 3 years ago, the packaging and everything else looks the same but the colour is really yellow so on the 4300K mark and the lux reading is half of the original OEM bulb I had which was not great in the first place..unless I got a bad batch but I am starting to see several people saying the colour is now yellow so they must have changed something in the composition of the bulb ..salt contents gas and what have you..s
Hi randomsurfer3963, you are in fact correct. I removed the product from our website some time ago, and updated the description links as well. They were inconstant as we had many reports from people after we recommended them. I do apologize there, but be sure to take a look at our latest recommendations as you should be able to find a product in your budget there. bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/recommended/
@@BulbFacts Thanks for answering, I just had a look at the link you provided. Since I have already spent a lot of money on two sets of D1S bulbs without great results, I will either shell out for the OSrams but will buy at a main shop just to be sure of authenticity and not online or will give some LED kits a try, some of them have had good reviews but the LED scene is a bit of a minefield when it comes to D1s applications. Thanks again. Fun fact, the site (one of the biggest bulb specialists) where I bought the Ultra Gts, refused to publish my three star review which was way too generous anyway and said dismissively they will get brighter as I use them, very funny! I have used them more than 10 hours and the lux readings are poor and staying the same. So the bulbs have 4.8 stars on their shop from people that presumably have no clue or had very old OEM bulbs so thought these were an improvement..
@@randomsurfer3963 No problem, and sorry again about that. It's very unfortunate for me to see that you spent money but received a different product than we reviewed. I had a number of people with the same complaint as well. Power Bulbs was sold a few years ago, and it sounds like their business has changed a bit. OSRAM (or Philips) is really the best way to go, but I will be testing Xenon bulb lifespan soon to find out for sure how they all stack up in terms of reliability.
Hi oakcrest00, sorry if there is any confusion. Perhaps the link is bringing you to the halogen model? The Xenon model is $145 currently. Here is the link; link.bulbfacts.com/osrame51a5
All of your links are sending me to power bulbs site but the site will not process my payment can u recommend any other option to ensure a valid product?
Hey boss, so from your testing and expertise on HID's: Which would you highly recommend, I want the brightest for my BMW F10 5-series... DDM HID Xenon D1S 5500K, ZRSJ HID Xenon D1S 5000K or Torchbeam D1S HID Xenon 6000K? Thank you very much!
Hey LALOMAN! We haven't tested the Torchbeam brand, however I'll be sure to pick up a set for testing. I would go with DDM over ZRSJ as they will be higher quality. We have seen some various results from people on the ZRSJ due to the low price point which reflects low QA. If you have the funds, go with OSRAM or Philips for the best lifespan.
Hi abrahim, if you are looking for a cooler color temperature, check out the OSRAM CBB, Advance, and others closer to 7000k; www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/chart/
They claim 'up to', and it's possible with the right environment, headlight housing, and bulb size that it's possible, but in our test environment we only seen about 5500k which I personally prefer, but some people are expecting a higher color temperature and may be disappointed.
Hi Jeff, will do! We plan to add more budget friendly products, and we do test some of their halogen bulbs and LEDs products, so it'd be great to see how their HID offerings perform.
Hi DAYTONA, you can find our latest recommendations here; www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/recommended/ - Philips and OSRAM are always recommended for their top tier quality, accuracy, and of course output. They are most costly though.
Hi Phuong, here are our latest recommendations for xenon bulbs. We use D2S to test, but they are the same voltage as a D1S so the results should be spot on; bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/recommended/
The ZRSJ is no longer available. The DMEX is a different brand, but it's the next best option from Amazon, so we updated the description at least for people. Sorry for the confusion there.
good day I need your help a lot 2005 model kia rio I have my car headlights polishing although I do night vision very bad h4 I use a normal bulb what should I buy? which bulb do you recommend?
hey I want to buy these lights but your amazon link for the ZRSJ points to a D1S bulb instead of D2S please update the link on this video and your website as well. I want to purchase it through you. Thanks for the informative video!!
Hi Carlos, for the beam pattern photos we have our Sony AS7II with a prime Sony lens set to 5500K. However we do make some adjustments, same for all photos, to more closely match real life. We use a specific profile to capture as much detail as possible and adjust in post.
@@carlos.teixeira no problem. White balance is always hard to evaluate, especially from a RU-vid video of course. Too many factors to say for sure, but we set up 5000k as 'pure white', with no blue and no yellow (as close to that as possible, overall), and from there it gets more yellow and more blue of course down or up the scale. HIDs do of course emit various colors in the beam, so our values are 'overall' with the majority of color dominating most of the value.
Hi Jay, check out the GT Ultras; link.bulbfacts.com/8c0ba as they tested brighter than any bulb from Philips and OSRAM. Of course life expectancy and output will not be as long, but they are much cheaper.
Hi Swat! We plan to add D4 series as well in the future. It will be interesting to see how the lower voltage mercury-free bulbs compare. Thank you for the suggestion!

@@Charkatak I see. You should get some good lifespan out of the OSRAM's. They are very high quality and do not run quite as high as the upgraded kits, netting a much longer life.
Hey Pill Cosby, it's typically 5-10 hours of run-time, but depends on the brand, as some users have seem longer times required. You should be good with that range though, so if they are still the wrong color, let the seller know.
@@BulbFacts its a CNLight brand sold by Diode Dynamics. i've read somewhere that it could be up to 100 hours which is ridiculous. hopefully you're right. i don't think i can get in 100 hours within the 30 days return window lol great vid btw and thanks for the reply! im gonna check out the ZRSJ brand bulbs also
@@tee228 wow yes 100 hours is a lot, and some people won't even hit that with normal driving in a year! From our testing, we see some change over the lifespan, but the major changes happen early on in the first 10 hours or sooner. The ZRSJ's are very bright, but just keep in mind that they probably wont' last too long. We haven't ran tests there yet but will in the future for sure. Currently we are working on Halogen.
Hi Jose, you are right to be cautious, as there are a LOT of fakes being sold. Generally if the price is too good to be true it usually is. Here are known vendors selling only genuine Xenons: BRISource.com, PowerBulbs.com, TheRetrofitSource.com. We have purchased products from all three sources and they always checked out genuine each time. BRI and TRS are US based, and PB is based in the UK but ship to the US.
Hi birebirsestaklit, the NBL are a bit brighter, but they are very close in terms of output, with the CBB being much whiter. You can find the full test results here; www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/chart/
Hi Faisal, great question. While you certainly can, an OEM Xenon bulb is still much brighter than the brightest LED. Your best sticking with a D-Series HID bulb, as the HID Projector is designed for it as well. Hope that helps!
Hey Carols, each vehicle uses a specific size as per designed by the system. So as long as you choose the correct size for your vehicle it will fit. D1S and D2S run a higher voltage, whereas D3S and D4S are considered eco which run at a lower voltage and contain no mercury, but consequently don't shine as bright as D1/2. Hope that helps!
How do the Osram CBB compare to the Philips Xenon White Vision Gen 2.. www.powerbulbs.com/us/product/philips-xenon-whitevision-gen2-d3s-single Really curious to see the comparison as Philips claim these match LED .
Hi vpyngolil, the OSRAM CBB will be brighter as well as a whiter (cooler) color temperature compared to the Philips. We just got in the new Philips LED products so we'll be testing those soon! Even the brightest LEDs though still don't match these Xenons. Our test of the brightest LED in a projector (Lumibright XT1 G2) compared to an OSRAM Original Xenon, the Xenon bulb was still a bit brighter, so moving to an upgraded bulb like the CBB will have an even larger advantage. LED doesn't perform well in a Bi-Xenon projector either (in the high beam specifically) due to the design and it's inability to focus light upward when it's needed.
Yeah the newer vehicles are using LED now more often, and they all have a blue tint to them. I was referring to OEM HID specifically in the video, most other HID will be a 4300k yellow tint stock 👍
@@jeremylin4988 you can reach out via our contact form on our website if you like. We also try to avoid free samples as well and would rather purchase the product to keep things fair.
Hi Cristiano! We are still testing daily. We put a hold on our videos for a while in order to re-vamp our tests. That is now finally complete and we will be releasing some new videos soon. The content on our website is up to date though.
Thanks for a great review. The Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited box says +70% brightness but the Osram Nightbreaker Laser's box states +200% brightness. I guess you take these both with a pinch of salt. However, i cannot see the Laser's being over double the brightness of the Unlimited's. Have i misunderstood?
I'm really interested in the GT Ultra Xenon, I want a perfect 5000k bulbs with improved brightness over OEM. After testing do these bulbs still at 5000k? Or did they shift into another color temperature?
Update: Alright I bought them and I installed them today, so far they are definitely brighter than OEM (Philips D1S C1), however they appear with different color temperature than tested here, it is 4300K warm white as advertised in the box so no deference from OEM and I'm slightly disappointed. I have heard somewhere that some bulbs take around 18 hours of run time then they shift into a consistent color temperature like the Philips Xtreme white vision gen2. I hope it's true so my bulbs shift into a cooler color temperature. If they still at 4300K I'll swap them to Osram Cool Blue Boost in the next few years or so. Final update: Nope, more than 30 hours of run time and they are still 4300k which is good if you are looking for bright bulbs. But bad for me since I was looking for ~5000k bulbs. Maybe for the next time I'll swap to Osrams cool blue boost (CBB) since most people suggest them for bright ~5000k bulbs.
@@SterNebula thanks for sharing! That's unfortunate, as our product tested at 5000k (from their 4300k model). So it sounds like perhaps they corrected that. I'll pick up another set for testing and run them through again to see if the color has changed, and get our website updated right away. Sorry about that! BTW We do burn them in for about 12hrs prior to testing as well, with a 24hr cool down in between. The OSRAM CBB is really a great option, and will last you a long time while maintaining it's brightness longer.
@@SterNebula but to be fair, you shouldn't really buy a product advertised as 4300k and expect it to be 5000k just because you seen one review where they got 5000k instead.
Hell I got the cheapest "fat" HID ballasts on Ebay and they throw light just as good as those so called superior HIDS that cost 5x the price. I've had mine for 6 years with zero issues and only paid $25 for the ballasts and bulbs.
I ordered the ZRSJ bulb 5k they were bright, but for some reason the bottom part of the beam had a lot of shadowing in the beam path. I just didn’t trust them so I returned them. They are made in China it just feels they very cheaply made. I spent the money and got the OSRAM CBB made in Germany. Thank for the vid.
Thanks for sharing larry! The ZRSJ is a very bright bulb, but they are of low quality and we don't expect them to last too long. Going with OSRAM and Philips for Xenon is really the best solution if you have the funds.
I have a question- have you guys ever done testing on the spectrum of light cast, and charted it? I feel like looking at LUX is like measuring the quality of a sound with DB only as opposed to looking at the spectrum of sound charted out? Maybe develop a new metric that measures different parts of the spectrum, and adds them together with weight where they can be best seen in visual spectrum
Hi accordv6er, great suggestion! We have yes, but the results will dramatically vary depending on the headlight. We had added 'total output' by testing the lumens as well. Color also effects the output. By testing the peak lux in the hotspot in both low and high beam projectors (from the 3 major mfrs/types), we are able to get a very good idea of how they perform in the real world in various headlight systems.
What do you think would be the best legal way to upgrade low beams in Europe? I live in Finland, late fall to early spring are very dark, so i'd love to upgrade my lights. The problem is that retrofit LED bulbs are straight up illegal, and HID conversions require the vehicle to meet certain criteria (mine doesn't). I considered the brightest halogens, but they don't last very long. Also the law mandates that everyone has to have low beams or DRLs on at all times, depending whether the vehicle has DRLs. Mine doesn't have DRLs, so it would kill the halogens life even faster.
Another great video thanks! I have a quick store. I was very displeased with my factory bulbs in my car. In doing my research I found your video review and checked out your recommendations on your website. Not following your recommendation I purchased and install the Xenon HID Kits. After about a week I started having problem with the passager bulb. Got a replacement from the company and then started having problems with the drivers' side. In less than two week I reinstall the factory bulbs and surrendered to your reviews. I order, received, and installed the Morimoto 5500k HID kit from BRI and I gotta tell ya...these is 3-4 times brighter than factory and twice as bright as the Xenon HIDs. Amazing!! Even more interesting were the Hi Beams. They were basically nonexistent from the Xenon kit and incredible from the Morimotos. I live in the trees in Woodstock, Il, and these lights help out a ton see twice as far down the road while navigating these dark roads. I have shared your website with a few of my friends interested in changing out their lights. Thanks again for your reviews. I will use your site as a tool to help others with their bulb selections.
Hey lloyd, thanks! Yes the Morimoto XB Elite kit is really amazing, some of the brightest bulbs out there, and they use Hylux ballasts which are the best in the industry. Glad to hear they worked out well for you. We'll be testing more HID Conversion kits in the future, but you can't go wrong with Morimoto. Thanks a lot for the shares, it really helps keep us going! Let me know if you need anything at all!
It's been more than a year since this video uploaded. Has there been any advancement in HID technology and are there even better and brighter OEM bulbs now?

Really appreciate your tests and your videos. Very informative. However, I need help picking a d2s bulb that will act as low beam and day time running lights. If you have any suggestions, would really appreciate it.
Thanks Lanz! We haven't tested the lifespan of the bulbs yet, so if you have the bulbs running as a DRL all the time, you may want to stick with the main brands like OSRAM and Philips. From there, pick the brightness and color you enjoy most based on your budget. www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/chart/ Hope that helps!
No problem. It looks like your Phaeton has OE Xenon, and if that's the case, check out our current recommendations here; www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/recommended/
You can run them for a while to see if the color adjusts, but they should match up, and should match out of the box. Where did you purchase them through? There are many fakes online.
I have watched some of your videos and i find them very resourceful. Here is my situation i recently purchased a pair of Spyder dual Halo projector headlights that came with yea you got it just your below average halogen bulb. I am looking to upgrade but unfortunately LED are out the question. Oh forgot to mention that my car is a 2001 chevy impala. So when i do drive at night i like to have things pretty bright way out in front of me, so could you recommend which H1 Halogen bulb might be best for my situation ? Any info would be deeply appreciated ty
Hi Alan, the halogens the aftermarket headlights come with are typically generic like you said. I would look at the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's if you want the best halogen. But since you have projectors, I would highly recommend an HID conversion. Morimoto, GTR Lighting, DDM Tuning are great options. HID will provide much more light output as well as a further available distance. They are worth the trouble of installing!
Can you clear how many lúmens have each bulb, of GT Ultra Xenon D2S and ZRSJ In review ZRSJ says have 5334 Lúmens and in page of seller says 3800 Lúmens and GT Ultra Xenon D2S can't find the lúmens nowhere, help-me please i have some bulbs but the light is weak( Osram Xenarc 66040 D2s)
Hi Bruno, our tests are based on our integrating sphere, so while it may not match the mfr as they may use a different model, it helps to compare against each other. Some list the lumens and some do not.
Hi can u please help me wity my issue .am using a passat b6 which runs on stock d1s Philips xenarc 35 w.But the light was poor so after some discussion with few guys I bought osram nightbreaker 35w d1s.But while changing my stock Philips bulbs got broken .But after the upgrade the vision got so poor that am unable to see even close objects and the light comes in a yellow tint which is not an issue for me .Now after talking wity the dealer who gave me those nightbreaker they are willing to take back the lights .But as I have broken the old stock lights I have to buy a good pair of lights without taking any more risk ..Can u suggest me few options ?
Hi Clinton, it sounds like it could be a few things; 1. DOUBLE CHECK the validity of the bulbs you purchased. Most of what is sold online is fake and has poor output. If the price is too good to be true it is. BRI Source, TheRetrofitSource, and PowerBulbs are great options for GENUINE bulbs. 2. Have somebody check for burn marks, abnormal wear, etc. on your projectors and headlights. If you did in fact have good quality genuine OSRAM bulbs, the should have VERY good output, but if the headlight is oxidized for example, output is diminished greatly. I hope that helps!
Hello nice info...I have a Golf Mk7 with oem HID...I want upgrade this...but I have a question. What´s your choice a NBU next Gen, or GT Ultra? I hope read to you soon, Best regards
Hi Pablo. Both are good options, however the GT Ultras will be a bit brighter, while the OSRAMs will last much longer holding their brightness longer as well.
Hey Meow Burt - I would take a look at the Philips guide, as it'll depend on the year, make, model, and trim. There may also be lighting package differences as well, so you may need to actually pull one of the bulbs to be sure. www.automotivebulbfinder.com/philips/
Hi Compa, the OSRAM CBI didn't make the cut for the video, although we did test them. We also tested the NextGen model which is actually a highly recommended product! You can take a look at the test results on our website for the details: www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/chart/
Results should be similar, as the 'R' just adds some reflector coatings for a reflector type headlight vs. projector. We haven't tested reflectors though with xenons, but we may in the future.
He’s actually wrong on Amazon, most brand names sold on amazon are authentic. I just purchased an osram d3s for my Volvo and checked it , was definitely authentic.
Thanks Duffy for the support! For your '06 E90, I would go with the OSRAM Cool Blue Boost. They are a pure white with a hint of blue. Currently the most popular Xenon set, and will have a long lifespan with precision alignment to maximize output.
I have a 1999 grand marquis... I order xenon pro hid kit 10k 55 watts... my question is will be able to see at night with true blue lights an will the be bright?
Hi Jonathan, going 10k is very blue, but adding 55w ballasts will lower the temperature a bit, but it will still be very blue, so visibility will be reduced. For best output, you'll want to look for something closer to 4500k-5000k (at 35w). I wouldn't recommend going over 6000k at 35w (7000k at 55w).
Thanks Dk Guy for sharing! We'll be performing lifespan tests in the future, but I suspect the budget options won't last as long as the OE brands. Let me know how it works out though!
Your informative videos and website were instrumental in my decision with purchasing Lumibright LED bulbs for the wife's car, so thank you very much. Now I'm looking to purchase D1S bulbs. Which do you recommend between OSRAM Cool Blue Boost and Cool Blue Advance? And why? Thanks again and keep up the great research!
Hi Alejandro, glad to hear it! I would recommend the CBB over the CBA due to their superior color (~5500k vs 6000k+, so less blue). They are very close in output though. I can't say for sure which will last longer yet, but we plan to test the lifespan in the future. Coming from OSRAM though, both should perform well along their life.
Hi Majid, you can upgrade, however you would need to change out the ballasts as well, as the voltage is different and the bulbs are not interchangeable.
They seem to be no longer available, which is typical of Amazon products. You can find the latest recommendations here for OE bulbs; www.bulbfacts.com/hid-oe/recommended/
Hello, great information video. I tried searching ZRSJ hid bulbs on Amazon and nothing shows up except led bulb by ZRSJ. Did they go out of business after your great review of their xenon bulbs?? I'm looking for D2S from ZRSJ.
Hi Christof, I believe due to the popularity of other technologies like LED for example used in OE now, you won't see as much US distributors stocking the product. I do know though that TheRetrofitSource and BRISource both offer them, with TRS stocking them at a bit higher price, and BRI drop-shipping directly from the UK at a bit lower price. I haven't gotten into testing the knock-off products to compare, but I know there are some great articles out there. Just be careful of Amazon and when you come across a too goo to be true price, as it's usually a counterfeit. I was victim of this years ago and didn't realize it until the bulb burnt out prematurely, and it was too late to contact the seller on Amazon as they were gone.
@@BulbFacts Thanks for this! I'm trying to crack the LED code for this vehicle. On the fence about how much benefit the conversion gets you. Thinking of combining Xenon and LED hi-beams and LED fogs. The D2S HID connector seems to be the trick in this puzzle. Is that your experience?
My Mondeo has by default the OSRAM 66240 (DS2), I would like to replace them by the OSRAM Cool Blue Boost, could the Cool Blue Boost's color temperature intensity damage the optic? Or does the damage nothing to do with it? Thanks in advance!
Hi Nicolas, you won't see any issue upgrading to the CBB. You are already running a xenon projector will can handle a very high output and increased UV light. Go for it!
