“Leave the place you visit better than how you found it.” You guys are awesome for leaving the spring better. *high five*. Looking forward to the next video!
3,000+ ft. elevation gain in 2 miles is rough! Worth it for that footage though! Thanks for sharing. Also loved the views in Provo Canyon. Don't understand how people can be in a glorious natural setting and leave trash. Kudos to you guys for packing it out.
I don't understand why people are so inconsiderate about their trash. I don't get it a beautiful place all around, and you want to make it ugly with trash? You are awesome to clean up after the inconsiderate people.
I tell ya what, the other day my daughters did a 13 mile hike on a trail notorious for litter, so they each packed a few trash bags in their backpacks. When I picked them up I remarked that I couldn't believe they filled them they were like *Mom, we barley made a dent. We need to come back with more bags." People need to get it together, it's not other peoples job to follow you around with bags. Stay home if adulting is this difficult for you. 😡
Awesome video, you guys are so devoted at waking up so early to hike, but wow was it worth the early rise! Love that you cleaned it up, it is so sad seeing these beautiful places full of trash. We all should be such great stewards of God's creation. How hard is it to pick up your stuff, right? It always erks us as well. We will be going to southern Utah this year, nice to see northern Utah! We agree Utah is so beautiful! Can't wait to see where yall go in the southern part of the state and compare notes ;) PS thanks for making me hungry, the food you ate in Park City looked amazing :)
Waking up early is the key to getting spots to yourself or at least very calm conditions! It's rarely failed us! Yes stay tuned for our southern Utah video in the next week or two. We did some pretty epic stuff! Thanks and thanks for watching! Always gotta bring a snack to our videos 😂
“ hot springs smell ? “ you mean “ rotten egg smell ? “ I find it’s easy to get out as long as u do not get ur head wet … ur body will be hot for enuf time to dress
I remember having an email exchange with Katryn when you were in Europe the first time you two were in Europe - Dolmites? I think that was pre - VAN, regarding best way to get local currency? I can't find those videos at this moment. 5 years ago? Every time you two come to Utah it's fun for us because we love SO Utah! Now this time you are in our town since we literally live a mile from the Little India restaurant. Periodically when you two threaten to take up skiing (over the years) > I think you should definitely do that WITH ME (free pointers) since I have been teaching skiing at Deer Valley Ski Resort for over 30 years > you shouldn't be afraid of learning to ski > as long as you have someone steering you away from the mistakes most people instinctively make > it's simple physics the laws do NOT change. Thor n't change
... " It was totally worth getting up at 4am " ... um sir, I'm no longer in the military, I have to disagree with what you said! LOL i'm kidding i'm kidding, totally worth it, just spectacular area!
I can’t believe some people just trash a beautiful place. Thank you for doing that. My wife and I always bring a trash bag to pick up trash. You guys are awesome!!
It's funny you say that...those jackets are almost 10 years old! We need new ones bad! They are Columbia Voodoo Falls 590, which they don't make anymore. But it's similar to this one: www.columbia.com/p/mens-powder-lite-insulated-jacket-1698001.html?dwvar_1698001_color=467 Thanks and thanks for watching!
Just getting to this now, watched the southern Utah one this morning. I live in Provo so this is in my backyard. I did the fifth water hot springs back in college with some friends it was nice and warm but yes, wish people would pack out their trash
Luckily it doesn't get above 85 inside the van too often. We have our AC we can turn on if it gets too warm. There's been times where the computer gets pretty warm and struggles to work correctly, but we've never gotten that warning
If you are still in Utah you should try the adams Canyon hike. It’s a beautiful hike that leads to the base of a waterfall. It is located near Salt Lake City in Layton Utah.. it’s beautiful.
i am more interested in your America travels and when you show things that have not been covered on the many other channels. My wife and I watch several travelers they always are saying we wish we could spend more time but have to move on. We say why don't you make your own schedule?
We love sharing both international and domestic adventures and will continue to do so. There are many reasons that go into why we have to keep moving. Some are: there aren’t many places to stay for free in an area, the weather gets bad, lack of content ideas, other commitments behind the scenes, personal things, etc
You two are amazing. Thanks for taking us along. We use your videos for reference all the time these past 4 years of fulltiming. You are great researchers!
Thanks and thanks for watching! Don't forget to check out our website as well. We create guides to just about everywhere we go (eventually) and they are much more detailed. We can't include everything in our videos, but we can include so much more in our written content adventuresofaplusk.com
LOL. The goodies😉. Love you guys and watch your videos all the time. If I am stressed, just by watching your videos all my stress disappears. Please visit Calgary (Canada) and its surroundings like Kananaskis, Banff, Lake Louise, Icefield Parkways, Takakkaw Falls, Abraham Lake (when bubbles are formed), Drumheller etc.
That means a lot and we’re glad we can help! We are excited to get back to Calgary one day! We went right before we started our RU-vid channel years ago
@@AdventuresofAplusK: Thanks for creating content-rich and beautiful videos. After watching your Alaska trip series, I got inspired and planned a complete road trip from Calgary to Anchorage to Denali to Fairbanks to Stewart (BC) to Calgary. But then realized logistics & lodging were getting out of control and way too expensive so just settled with a 7-day Alaska Cruise trip. Maybe will do the Alaska road trip next year. If you visit Calgary, my family would love to host an Indian dinner for you at our home if you can spare 2 hours (saw you guys love Indian food).
Jealous! I’m just starting out in a minivan. Been watching your channel since you were in Italy. Anyway, I was just there about 1.5 weeks ago. So bummed I missed those hot springs. But it’s been cold as heck at night
Thank you for cleaning up task in my home state! People are so horrible here with trash. You guys need to check out coyote gulch in Escalante. You can definitely make a day hike out of it.
This was so fun to watch. I used to live in Salt Lake City many years ago and try to go back and visit when I can. They have done a great job at keeping the Olympic facilities in use so hopefully they’ll get it back with their next bid.
Your channel is one of our favorites. You keep it family friendly, unlike other couples who do travel videos like you two. It is sad that two of our favorite channels, now resort to innuendos and dropping some unfortunate language now and then that did not do before. Blessings and be safe out there! A suggestion - maybe have a PayPal account for viewers to donate when they want to?
We like to keep it family friendly since we know we have lots of families watching. That’s not to say we don’t make those jokes off camera though!😂 We aren’t comfortable with straight donations, but we have a shop page where you can support us buying purchasing physical or digital items there. And it’s always a help to just watch, like and share our content! Thanks, Charles!
Heck yeah! So much to see and do, could never get bored there! We've been loving your last couple videos from there! That little inflatable nyce kayak looks fun!
@@AdventuresofAplusK thanks guys! Still have a few more of those inflatable trips to post but I'm always adding rivers to my bucket list from y'alls videos since you go to so many beautiful places!
Recently subscribed to your channel guys. I love your content, thankyou . I've visited the Four Corners area since 1989 from England. Utah is my favourite, particularly mid to southernmost, its so beautifully dramatic. Looking forward to your discoveries in the next episode.😊
What stunning views! Happy to see your PSA about cleaning up but it sucks that people don't already do that. It reminds me that New Mexico just had to close Petroglyph National Monument's main trail because people weren't taking care of it and vandalizing it.
Your last trip to Utah is when I started following you. Soooo glad you’re back in the states! If you say something is tough, it’s TOUGH! I ran the Utah Valley Marathon down thru that canyon by Provo. One of those waterfalls were Bridal Veil Falls.
I can’t believe all the trash! Such a shame!! You guys are awesome! I loved those mountain view’s from your strenuous hike - absolutely breathtaking! I love Utah; we have visited there many times; it’s my happy place! Looking forward to the next video to S. UT - I need to know of some “off the beaten path” places. Great drone shots!!
I went parasailing off the point. It was fun. I love Midway. I love to go to Filler Up for their Turkey sandwich with jalapeno jelly and the iced coffee. So good! The Dollar Tree in that Walmart parking lot, is the cleanest nicest Dollar tree I've ever been in.
Hey guys! If you make it back down into Colorado this spring or summer come visit my wife and I at Monumental Expeditions and we'll get you on the Arkansas River. - Adam
There's an Olympic museum just like that at Lake Placid, NY. We went in the early spring shoulder season and there was no one there at all except a few around the 1980 Miracle on Ice rink. That Utah museum looked a bit newer and nicer.
Ahh yall were right by our house! We live in the neighborhood across from Walmart. If you’re ever back in Heber you can stay in our spare bedroom 😊 we also love Little India 👍
Thanks for picking up trash! It’s so sad that people leave those behind along with their pets’ bagged poop! We have tons of awesome trails. Try the Uintahs next time off of Mirror Lake when it’s open for the season. Keep Utah beaUtahful!
Don’t get us started on the left behind bagged poop! Why even bag it?! Now you’re littering plastic! Mirror Lake looks amazing! Lots to see out there! Thanks and thanks for watching!
Utah is fabulous. The drone shot of you guys in the hot springs was spectacular! Looked like you were sitting in a heart shaped pool ♥️ Loved the scenery. I get so much joy watching your videos. It is almost like I am there. I love butter chicken too Kathryn😋😋
You two are far braver than me…I don’t think I could get in my swim suit and get in the hot spring! Kona sure is the energizer bunny…such a good hiker! Beautiful views…Utah is gorgeous! Kathryn, I loved your blooper at the end. That was really funny!
We were able to watch future Olympians ski down the training mountain ( blue rollers), practice their twists and somersaults then land in the large pool a few years ago. That training site was a wonderful highlight of our Utah trip. Have you ever visited Calf Creek Falls in the southern part of Utah.?? That is a must-see trip.
We were hoping to see the bobsled team going! It's a really cool spot! Yes we've done Calf Creek Falls ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-csX-k-iChGI.html&pp=ygUhYWR2ZW50dXJlcyBvZiBhIHBsdXMgayBjYWxmIGNyZWVr awesome spot!
My husband and I have watched you for a while and while watching this one, I turned to him and said. "Wow Kathryn's hair is so nice and shiny" and he said "I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to sound weird" So if the travel vlogging doesn't work out you can do shampoo commercials! Love the video as always.
Y'all were like 40 minutes from me🤣 Thanks for showing the best of my home, and for taking good care of it! 💕 Us locals are very tired of people trashing everything an ruining it for the rest of us.
Welcome to our home state. It’s wonderful that you’ve gotten to enjoy a few of our unique places and sites. I guess it goes without saying there’s a lot more to visit and explore and you’ve just scratched the surface. I’m so sorry that other people have been so inconsiderate and piggish leaving their ugly trash in such a beautiful canyon and creek area that you two had to see and pick up after them. Thanks for sharing your experiences here in my state, and we’ll keep watching and look forward to all of your adventures.
We love Utah! Even though this is at least our 6th trip to the state there is still tons to see. You could spend a lifetime here and still not see it all! We’ve filmed a lot of videos in the state over the years. Check em out here! ru-vid.com/group/PLZKRTK1yCEM4zKHtthhqfdRyfo3hT7UW-&si=ftycs8Ke9WY_WscH Thanks and thanks for watching!
The youtubers Wild RV life were at the same hot springs lately ( fifth water hot springs) they went very early also but they were surprised to see a naked older man in the springs. We love you guys be safe
