@@Super_64 I know in Ohio where I am from, we were taught to do that. Ohio Revised Code 4513.17 (1) Flashing lights are prohibited on motor vehicles, except as a means for indicating a right or a left turn, or in the presence of a vehicular traffic hazard requiring unusual care in approaching, or overtaking or passing. Speeding through traffic lights with the flashers on for the purpose of driving to the hospital in a real emergency is ok as it constitutes a traffic hazard.

@@moorek1967 just because you were taught that doesn't mean its legal/proper for the state statue. if its an emergency, pull over and call for an ambulance. that is a vehicle that is legally allowed to drive with flashing lights. not a personal vehicle where a person wants to take the law into their own hands and start running red lights with their hazzards on.

One of the hardest things for Judge Caprio to do is determine who’s telling the truth and who’s not. I’m sure he would like to think everyone is truthful. He is a good man.

Judge Frank Caprio is already 82 years old. That is nearing most of people's ages at expected death. It'll be very sad to see him go, since any day now the terrifying moment could happen. Also, bless that mother, she really must have been stressed out.

My heart hurt for the mom. Most of us who are mother's have been there done that. When you feel like your life is crumbling and it's about to get worse your only focus is seeking help. Thank God no one was hurt. Thank God for Judge Caprio for his logic and humanity. 💜

Your Honor, Thank you for your ruling in this case. I only recently learned of this youtube channel. This one made me cry. I have a medically fragile child. The struggles, stress and exhaustion from taking excellent care of a child with soecial needs is too much to explain. The kindness, generosity and mercy you showed touched my heart. I almost never cry...I think I have watched all episodes of Caught in Providence on youtube and I have never shed a tear. It's not that I'm a cold hearted bastard, I just don't react like that. Until now. Maybe it's because it is my daughters 5th birthday today and I just put her to bed, but right now I'm just bawling my eyes out. Best wishes to all of you from Denmark!

As a tourist being visiting America for summer vacation for several years I can confess that they are the most kind people I have ever met, one of them in Florida was a tornado in 2017 he offered us his house after our being canceled to mention that we were 6 people with children. As a municipal judge, the majority of cases are indeed just traffic and parking violations, but he does sometimes put up with other things like that one DJ who got kicked out of the venue and never received remuneration. In all cases, it's very clear he has the heart of an angel and still can be tough on people who need to be brought to their senses. Bonus points for having a spectacular sense of humor, too.
