@@kidfox3971 Yeah, it's annoying that everyone focuses on France's defeat in 1940 at the hands of the German blitzkreg which was a breakthrough military tactic/strategy at the time and ignores France's military greatness in earlier eras. Of course, France lost two wars in the years after WW2 in Indochina and Algeria respectively so that didn't help their military reputation.
FYI, while the Germans were figuring out how to put a 88mm AA gun onto a tank (eg Tiger 1), the Italians were figuring out how to put spaghetti into a can.
