It's not fair that people call Atom Eve a copycat of Gwen Tennyson from Ben 10. Atom Eve was created in 2003 in the Invincible comics. Gwen was made in 2005.
@@rustyshackelford4224 the walking dead for instance strayed off from being comic accurate, the mask (Jim Carrey) very different from the comic. The sandman (Netflix) way different, they changed Constantine’s gender, the sandman’s servant as well, I could go on..

@@dominiquelui1267 she has matter manipulation. When she is about to die the mental restraints that stop her from controlling the organic matter are lifted and she just rebuilds her body a new. Without the restraints she can literally kill any being with no issue due to her matter manipulation.

This video will most likely need to be revised later on, once they've adapted parts of the comics set after Eve has been fleshed out as a character, both figuratively and literally, and she gets a lot more actual badass moments.

Her powers basically give her god level cheats for life. Build a house? Hell why not a mansion! Need food? Snap a finger and before you appears more food than could be eaten in a life time. Clothes, cars, gadgets, etc. Anything and everything.
I kind of want to see Amber be recontextualized as the embodiment of the ideology of The Boys and Billy Butcher/Starlight/Grace Mallory in the Invincible world, preaching about the existence of superheroes being an extension of all of the other oppressive systems in the world. That might help Invincible be more engaging as far as its relationship to The Boys on Amazon Prime Video is concerned, and it would give Mark another goal- prove to Amber, the world, and himself that superheroes aren't just oversight-free cops in colorful costumes that uphold the status quo and keep everyone complacent, and that they actually can make meaningful change in the world and make things genuinely better for people. I mean, us superhero fans already know they can, but people who stan Garth Ennis and/or Eric Kripke need to pretend they can't in order for The Boys as a property to keep working in their minds. In general, I just want more superhero stuff that makes take-thats at The Boys, both Horatian light-hearted jabs and Juvenalian railings that say things along the lines of, directly or indirectly, "This franchise is bad for superhero and political discourse," with the same fury that the writers of The Boys have against any societal issue they're using Supes and Vought to represent.
If anyone wants any spoilers bc I’ve finished all the comics and saw the complete ending: *spoiler alert* Mark and Eve are end game and have a child together. Mark becomes king and Eve becomes Queen. Yes they are immortal. Mark was sadly *R Worded* by a woman of his own species during a mission to fight her off bc she was destroying the earth, this was before Eve got married to him and he kept it hidden for years until he finally told Eve. That r-pist woman who violated mark got pregnant with his kid. So canon wise he was 1 eldest son *the violator lady birthed him* And he has a 2nd child conceived by Eve with consent and love. Mark did not know of his first burns existence until eve was heavily pregnant and he had to fight off a super powdered kid that was causing chaos in the city. That kid was the son. Mark stupidly forgave his assaulter when she came to vist Mark and Eve. The assaulter only wanted closure to move on with her new life and new husband she married and had a new daughter with. =disgusting I know= Eve peer pressured Mark into being in the sons life and bringing him into their home =this is highly disgusting to me because it was done without marks consent and left him horrific mental scars of that day with what happened to him and Eve acted ignorant to marks feelings and trauma!= End sequence Eve grows old and dies in a hospital but is REBORN into a teen again, repeating this cycle of death many times because she is immortal. So Mark and the kids love a happy life together ruling an empire. =That’s it, that’s the end. Yes Marks dad dies and Marks mother dies way before the ruling of a empire during a battle on earth= ✨
1) Anissa was not at all 'destroying the Earth'. 2) Mark never forgave Anissa. He just told his father to lay off her because he knew how important Viltrumites were to his Dad. 3) Eve never pressured Mark to be in his son's life. She told him to talk to him, explain to him their heritage because who could do it better than Mark? What would his son have done if Mark didn't speak to him? Cause more chaos. 4) Eve definitely didn't pressure Mark to being him to their home. You should have pointed out her small relationship with Telia's brother when Mark was presumed dead for 5 years. That's a genuine L for Eve. And also the abortion she got when Mark went away for the Viltrumite War. Man i love the dynamic between these two so much. I'd expect nothing less from pat and Paige bolvin's daughter I guess now that they DO have a kid we'll see if their son is the child of his two goblin parents
One more thing to my comment, she may not be anodite but she does use particles as mana i may not like magic but she knows particle reactions. Imagine having her powers? I could some of that that personal game not abuse it.

What I don’t get is why ATOM EVE has a gender thingy with an X over it. When in the comics it’s a symbol Representing an ATOM referencing her power to manipulate Things like ATOMs that allow her to manipulate her surroundings and such and blah blah. Soooooo…yeah…it’s like if SPIDER-man had a NYC coffee cup on his chest or whatever instead of a, you know, a SPIDER! I liked the show and the comics but Jesus, things like this have been driving me crazy.

Clearly, the writers know how to write a disagreement between two where one has an assertive position they vigorously maintain, and the writers know how to handle it in such a way that we understand that character's perspective and walk away still liking them. COMIC DISCUSSION, HUGE SPOILERS FROM THE MIDDLE TOO END OF THE SERIES. What I look forward to the most about the next season is the beginning of Marks and Eve's relationship. Eve's powers are bullshit in a fun way kinda of Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate, I can't wait for the creators too brutally murder Eve just too fuck with the people who haven't read the comics yet, only for her too come back that is if we make it too the invasion from Alastor Levy and his army of Invincible's from other realities. Eve quickly became my favorite character and I can't wait too see how far Season 2 dives into the comics. Honestly in hind sight as I type this, we might wait till season 3 for that.
This show seemed to pour everything into an all star cast for some reason when they could have gotten cheaper actors who are actually experienced voice actors. Seems inefficient This is like only animated show to do something like that when it's not even necessary. The faces of these people aren't being shown in the promo material. Like every voice actor is a big name movie star or TV star.
Only really half of them are. Career voice actors like Grey Griffin, Kevin Michael Richardson, Khary Payton, Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown, Fred Tatasciore, Mae Whitman, and Justin Roiland all voiced a handful of characters in Invincible, and even some of the actors in it better known for live-action stuff, like Steven Yeun, JK Simmons, Andrew Rannells, Chris Diamantopoulos, Jason Mantzoukas, Seth Rogen, Nicole Byer, and Michael Dorn all have a fair bit of voice acting experience.
@@robquin1525 Hey Rob, I'm hoping they think about having hundred of episodes. My best bet that Anissa Viltrumite might show up on episode 1. Though I know invincible and her won't get along very much well. And whatever which episode she tends to rape him and ends up getting pregnant with mark's kid too. I sort of look forward seeing that stowaway Martian guy shapesmith. I even look forward to seeing invisible's most devastating of any super villain Angstrom Levy. Even if Mark ends up in a DC universe dimension. I doubt he'll ask Justice league for help.
