Shaq Fu vs. the Chuckster. As many of you are aware, I am a big fan of Inside the NBA/The NBA on TNT coverage and just as big if not a bigger fan of Sir Charles Barkley. To be honest, I am not necessarily a fan of Shaq but I will admit, he has been a perfect addition to the TNT Crew. Something about the unpredictable chemistry between Shaq and Charles makes the show even more entertaining. Shaq, as you will see throughout this video, clearly does not have the thickest of skin, so at times he might lose his temper. Charles, never one to back down from anyone, either continues to go back and forth with Shaq to antagonize him or just because he disagrees with him.
I also understand why a lot of players have taken offense to being called out by these two hall of famers and I am not on the side of people that thinks they need to "toughen up." I have more of a problem with Shaq's antics, especially with Donovan Mitchell because it seems extremely hypocritical. Shaq had a reputation for not always being the hardest worker throughout his career so to sit here and be so critical of these young men, is a lot like the pot calling the kettle black. But that is a conversation for another day and hopefully won't affect the amount of air time between Shaq and Charles Barkley.
