Oh 100%...and they were weird...because y'know... They were just getting closer and hanging and with each other... So messing with his brother was part of the bonding game. But Elliot... Poor Elliot...
Probably the most tragic too. Her own brother doesn't even remember who she is, she loses her best friend in Angela like Elliot too, losses her boyfriend, ruins her new found love interests life than has a panic attack and bails on running away with her.
what a strong character! perfect example of a believable rebellious heroine. the acting really sells the kind hearted robin hood figure wrapped up in thick layers of sarcasm and sass.
I don't know but after watching and rewatching the series , I grew to like he character more through her connection with Eliott , she's not bae , she's a person trying her best to be a good sister , and that's precious.
Agree. After re-watching it a 2nd time you can see how she’s trying really hard to reconnect while also trying to be patient with him no matter which personality Elliot is in.
It was an ending for them. Darlene finally starts taking personal responsibility instead of running & distracting herself. Dom takes a break and also(even if Darlene ends up not being there) makes a decision to be with somebody, a big step with the social anxiety. Remember the backstory about how she abandoned the person who proposed to her out of anxiety?
But they were both together in the end right? Cz Darlene was wearing more than one ring at the end of the last episode. I think it was better than if they would have found each other on the airport. Cz as the guy above me said, Darlene learnt how she can not run away and Dom learnt how she can also let go of things. Both of their arcs got completed. And they might have been together after that.
It was also necessary for Darlene to stay in the states to talk to mastermind and help facilitate getting him to give up control back to the real Elliot.
