Another great video, Stan. Your quality is rising fast. Thanks. A lot of people knee-jerk badmouth electric snowblowers etc but they miss the fact that they are perfect for many people. I live at 8000’ in a heavy snow zone in the Rockies and while my bobcat is the go-to equipment for my roads and open spaces, a walk-behind blower is essential for decks and sidewalks through tight landscaping. The 2022 ego 24” blower is AMAZING. No noise, fumes, messy gas refills, trips to the gas station, oil changes or cold start issues. I’m a happy camper with the ego. Thanks again for your work to make these videos. Peace.
Man, if I wasn't an old fat man in my 60's with bad knees, that EV mini bike would been cool AF. Loved the old Honda CT 70 from the 70's we ran on camping trips. BUT, I can live vicariously and get one for my grandson 🤙...
Stan, Were you financially incentivized to be there by Chervon Tool? If not, would it be too much if you sat on these things and gave a sort of seated view/overview from all angles? Like an inspection. I appreciate the sales pitch but the deeper view is where you shine, every. single. time.
its def a platform that you gotta be all in for it to make any price sense. going in on 1 machine say only mower, doesn't make too much sense with battery's as expensive as they are.
Finally, the answer I was looking for. I have the zero turn at home with four 12Amp batteries. It will fit in. ❤❤❤ nice.I want one mini bike. Now, let's find the speed limiter to go faster then this.
Stanley you didn't ask a very important question the commercial LFP batteries should be good for at least 2000 cycles the regular lithium ion are only good for 500 cycles so in a ride on mower application you are constantly throwing the lithium ion in the bin.
After a season with the top Ego mower I’m not convinced it’s as powerful as my gas, definitely not the same cut quality. I might be replacing my carburetor on my Toro and selling the Ego.
I need a walk behind mower, 60", 52" or 48". I don't care about a 'zero turn' rider. I hope EGO will make what the top commercial companies are actually using: walk behind or stand on. I prefer walk behind. They can drop all that power loss by hauling a lazy person that doesn't want to walk.
Stan - I have been waiting for this video as I have seen you in the background of other youtube videos at this event. Do you have another video from this event, or is this it? I seem to recall seeing your around other new products.
And nuclear, and solar, and wind, and hydro. A guy I know on Henderson Nevada has two electric cars and makes so much solar energy despite that and the AC bill he gets paid by the utility. Gas is always oil, electric is not always coal. If you care at all.
I am disappointed that they kitted the Lawn Tractor with 6 6ah batteries. Even 3 12s would have been a whole lot more useful for someone like myself, who will also be buying the 28" snow blower and using these batteries for use during winter.
Electronic toys are cool. Making money, I don't think mowers or snow blowers are worth the buy. I see the insurance companies having high rates for them.
