God I miss the 90s!! I was 15 when this fight happened... Literally the whole country was mad for this fight... In fact I don’t think there has been such a big domestic rivalry since..
Eubank understood the sport and was never swayed by anger and other peoples opinions. In my opinion he was a great champion and was and still is a very nice man.
He's a very polite, affable person. I've spoken with him a few times before and he always chats with people on the street and shows everyone respect. Nothing but love for Chris Eubank
@@ThePc-DjHub the opposite, people could have a laugh and not take offence to anything. Characaturing a black face and a white face back then was fair play, doing it now is fine if your white and racist if your black
@@ThePc-DjHub It was just not an issue like it is today everybody just got on and put getting on first not having too constantly remind each other whats right or wrong or this or that people just gelled together easier
chris is demonstrating his real self when he answers the question re watson. thew arrogant bastard is purely a show and chris is a genuinly nice guy as is benn. eubank paid for the watson fight aswell, the guilt and fear of ity happening again ended eubankls killer instinct/finishing ability.
Met Chris Eubank Outside The Burlington Pub In Kemptown My Bro Ran It For Few Yrs Have To Say He Was A Gentleman Had Great Conversation With Him He Had Beaten Garry Stretch Two Weeks Earlier Nice Man
They really pulled out all the stops to build this fight, which I thought was unnecessary as everybody interested in boxing wanted to see it anyway (on the back of the first fight) and it sold out in no time with 40,000 in attendance on the night. Nothing wrong with a bit of fun though, as boxing, as hard as it is, is still entertainment for the public.
Eubank was never the same after Watson . Eubank would have beaten Collins calzaghe and Carl Thompson if not for the tragedy that happened to Watson eubank would often hold back when he had an opponent in trouble after the Watson fight just look at eubank vs Carl Thompson 1 he obviously held back when Thompson were in trouble. Eubank a true legend warrior and champion🖒.
that bit where he said eubank was laughing at him unconcious on the floor, wtf not long after the watson incident, mad times. suppose not every inch of life was pulled apart on social media back then though
Two men who made each other very rich and very famous. They must appreciate each other for what they both achieved, one could not have done it without the other
