@@Tildis exactly! That’s why we’re having such a hard time with our corona restrictions, 2 meters is way to close. Can’t wait for this pandemic to be over so we can go back to 5
Fudge I've been waiting for him since I was 11 years old. What about you? 🤣🤣🤣 (Not even joking, when I was 11 I told myself if my life hadn't improved by rhw time I was 26 I would kill myself. Fortunately or unfortunately depending how you see it, I got my cats when I was 16 and they're still full of life 12 years later so I am still here for the time being.)
I use it, it has a varying level of success. The fun people get on board with the existential concepts whereas others really don't appreciate the ambiguity of such a question. I have concluded it is the only way to approach any conversation both physically and virtually and if we all had this mindset, the world, not to mention dating apps, would be a much more appealing and enjoyable place to exist.
@@livedandletdie You think those few appearances on Taskmaster as a prop paid his bills. They said he was a painter and a decorator as a day job. Low skill job in UK and the timing makes sense. Obviously it might be something else but without any additional information it is as good of a guess as any.
@@MrFelixify I see that as a myth. Embarrasing things for Swedes are to raise their voice, create conflict, make a scene, or go against political consensus (again a real taboo). They are conformists, not modest.
@@herrbonk3635 There is a reason everyone see's Zlatan as "cocky" not modest. Swedes are obsessed with being modest. Law of Jante, don't think you are better than anyone else.
@@RandomPerson-sh9tu ah alright (also if u got a previous notification, sorry for that, I responded to u on accident with a comment meant for someone else)
@@jtb2792 it actually comes from the old Norse Friðrekr so Rik in this context it has the same linguistic roots as Riket (kingdom) so it roughly translates to peaceful ruler
@@jockemustafa de handplockar ett visst utseende när de använder svenskar internationellt men i sverige ska "svensson" ej vara etnisk skandinav längre.
I know Alex said He has gone back to Sweden but especially because of the covid restrictions they have to follow, him coming back via Zoom would be ideal!
Based on his reactions during the 'Make the Swede blush' task, I have a theory that nearly all unsolved Scandinavian homicides in the past decade can be attributed to Fred.
He does not have kind eyes, in the Netherlands we call them blote billen ogen, eh..naked arse eyes: meaning you can not see any emotion, i.e. in all honesty robotic. I believe the Swedes themselves also have a word for it, sounds like SeeSuh.
They totally need to make Fred a contestant one of these days. His calm and peaceful demeanor (or at let his acting that way if that isn't the way he really is) would be hilarious when compared with most of the people they bring on the show.
Uh. Swedes and Norwegians are close. Of course you like Fred. I love Norway. We are all Scandinavians. Scandinavia. One language. A people divided only by three different houses (kings and queens). Petter Northug är sjukt populär i Sverige tex, fast han retat oss.
@@veritas101 I've known a Norwegian guy for 13 years and he's the same. He likes making jokes about the Swedes and says they do the same back. As for me a Scottish woman.. We do genuinely absolutely hate the English. If it was legal to do so I'd put all their heads on a spike outside my house.. 😤
@@Kat-mu8wq ...I'm suddenly *very* glad I'm not English lmao But yeah I think it's just a weird cultural thing at this point, sure we hate the Swedes but I guess they aren't /that/ bad to be around
Depends on the context. Just Sweden vs Norway? Well, know the answer to that one, but between the rest of the world and either country? Of course I’m picking my sibling nation
If Jon Richardson ever sees this, Fred didn't say he had a little beard, he said he was a little bit beardy, they actually translated Fred wrongly, I should know I'm Swedish
Having a little beard just sounds like you got a little bit of a beard going on. Being a little bit beardy sounds like what you say about the guy who was caught touching himself at the childrens play park. "you wanna watch your kids around him, hes a little bit beardy"
@@aq_nacka id say if you say "little beard" it sounds more like you're saying that their beard is full but short as in trimmed but if you say "a little beardy" it sounds more like its referring to stubble and maybe a little patchy. At least that's how id assume
I know that Taskmaster has already been amazing with putting out content on RU-vid and being interactive with their fanbase during quarantine - top tier stuff, really. But please, can we have Fred pop up every now and then? Perhaps in series 12? If you are reading this, Fred - you are a staple element of Taskmaster for me :)
I heard Sweden doesn't get along with any neighbours.. They make jokes back and forth with the Norwegians, the Danish are a no-go and Finland...Is just Finland. 🤣 I do like Scandinavia though. Just something about northern Europe seems ..Magical. Unfortunately I hate to tell you Sweden has been reported to have the most beautiful people on the planet.. Fred is one of them. (But Finland has Ville Valo (when he was younger 🤣) and Blind Channel so you're not doing too badly yourselves)
The Swedish Taskmaster is sometimes watched by almost 2 million viewers every show. (20% of the population) One night it even surpassed the Swedish version of Dancing with the stars.
Jesus this was jarring, freed has THE MOST Swedish face iv ever seen, he looks like 4 guys i was in school with and 3 acquaintances i have what the fuck yes im Swedish.
I can relate to this well. My LTR from Sweden is sitting right across from me now. Five minutes ago, I gave him his coffee; then I asked him what he wanted to do today. It took him two minutes to consider what we should do today. He finally asked why I was talking so early in the day
For the breaking eye contact one, you could just break eye contact once and then put on all the gear. It means you'd only lose 5 seconds since they said "every time you break eye contact you'll lose 5 seconds". Thus you only broke eye contact once.
Say what... Fredrik (the swede) is my friend from back in the days. Incredible to see him in this show. I can't even understand how/why I found this clip :).
