Hey friends!
Today I have ANOTHER installment in my Best Of Series this time going over Holo Taco! I sadly don’t have a huge selection esp compared to other boutique brands, but I hope you still enjoy my favorites :) What are some of your Holo Taco staples? Also sorry I didn’t talk about their Nail Essentials, I do have them but have only tried them a handful of times so I don’t have a solid opinion on them other than I hate that they all come with skinny brushes lol.

I love holo taco. I was blown away by their 4th anniversary retro collection (vibrant jellies) and how you can make different colors just from putting one on top of the other. The olive green shade they released this fall is perfect as well. Also the unicorn skins are one of my favorite formulas ever

those jellies were so cute!! i should’ve included an LE category (or expanded on it after talking about Menchie Cat Eye) bc those jellies are soo fun!! truly hope they bring back that formula next year but permanently lol. and ohh yeah the unicorn skins are really pretty too! ✨✨

As someone with a full HT collection my most used HT polishes are Lite Link, Wireless Mode, Sunset Simulation and Missed Shift. The lite mode collection is honestly my fav release from HT and always seem to make there way onto my nails.

they do have some pretty toppers!! i personally haven’t been tempted by Everything Taco bc it seems busy to me (i’m not a big topper person to begin with lol) but maybe its one of those polishes i would love when i actually try it 😝

Thank you for another brand favorite video! I really appreciate your honesty. People can like the brand and have constructive criticism. They are not mutually exclusive. You had many of my favorites on your list. Fake Date is Millennial pink in the very best sense. I would also add: Mint Mojito, Lost in the Woods, Lunar Unicorn Skin, and the entire Lite Mode collection. Even though it should have been marketed as shimmers, the Lite Mode polishes are glowy and gorgeous. Also, I have been really enjoying Stay Grounded this fall. There has to be some other reason behind retiring the Christmas glitters. I wonder if it is too costly to find the right glitter mixes and make smaller batches each year. I love wearing Plum Luck over Magenta Jelly.

thank YOU for watching & for your support!! so well said too 👏🏼 omg Fake Date being millennial pink makes so much sense loll. & oh yeah those lite mode shades were super pretty! i always loved Lite Link, Encryption Key & Wireless Mode but the others are stunners too (100% agree about the marketing tho- thats another pet peeve of mine when it comes to HT lol). oh Stay Grounded is soo yummy!! i’ve been meaning to use it again, maybe in some nail art, it feels perfect for November. I don’t remember seeing if Cristine mentioned exactly why they’re being retired, its a little weird that its the second collection leaving and not the first? but I assumed it was mainly bc they’ve been around for 3yrs now and they want to introduce new winter/holoday shades, and maybe the first holiday glitters sell better?? it makes sense that smaller batches are more costly too, and maybe each year the batches have gotten smaller? so many questions and not enough answers, maybe she’ll talk about it on stream this weekend! but omg okay I NEED to try Plumb Luck over Magenta Jelly!! 🤩🤩🤩

Holo Taco was my gateway to indie/specialty polish! The brand came out right when I had stopped biting my nails and wanted to take care of them better and it makes up about 99% of my nail polish collection! I'm obsessed!!! I think this is an awesome list of recommendations and a lot of my favorites are here! I do think Plum luck is probably my absolute favorite because I love a good warm purple and the glitter is just 🤤🤤🤤🤤 I'm heartbroken that it's going to be discontinued! I think it has to do with pigment sourcing issues? But either way I will miss her! Holo Taco is also how i found your channel earlier this year!! Your reviews are wonderful and I'm so happy to be here 😁😁😁

i love that they’re your gateway brand esp after you stopped biting your nails! and ughh i knoww, I love those deep warm purples and Plumb Luck is just 🤩🤤 I really hope the stock lasts until their BF sale lol I know I’m pushing it 🥲🤞🏼 and oh is that why? I thought it was just “time to retire” them since its that whole second collection thats been around for what 3 years now? and they want to make room for new collections (I imagine their warehouse doesnt have the space for 2 seasonal collections). Hello. My Name is Amy, and I am a Holo Taco addict. I JUST ordered Plumb Luck and Favorite Sister. I started getting Holo Taco with their Vacation Collection this summer. Their Retro Collection has been my favorite. Love your recommendations. You are right about them being more expensive. It is hard to justify sometimes. I ended up with Neon Rosebud from ILNP when Fallen Flake Taco sold out. I have it now, and I love it, but....I'll probably use Neon Rosebud more.

loll hi Amy! as an HT addict I’m glad you still see where I’m coming from 🙈 but YAYY for finally grabbing Plumb Luck and Favourite Sister, they are GORGEOUSSSS!! the retro collection was super cute too! and ohh yes i saw Neon Rosebud suggested in my Best Of ILNP, it looks so so stunning! i’m glad it’s a slightly more affordable version of Fallen Flake, I generally feel like its true about all ILNP toppers haha.

I am enjoying this series a lot! Would you consider having the shade name on the screen so we can take screen shots of the swatch and name together? It’s just very helpful overall. Have not tried Holo Taco yet but just ordered 2 shades to see what I think. I’m in Canada and they are quite expensive even without taxes/duties so I’m hoping they impress me!! Oh the choco holo slander 😭 it's my favorite of the glitters and I literally have it on my nails right now 😆. I just love the gold glitters against the warm brown, it looks so festive! I do agree with you about frost light though, she's a stunner.

I just got the dark rainbow bundle and I love it. And I can definitely tell a difference between dead petals and crimson void. Dead petals is a warmer purple type, and crimson void is this beautiful more red leaning color. And I’m happy they are both in the bundle.

Oh I hope that means they fixed the issue! I saw a lot of comparison photos last year where they were just way too similar to justify being in the same collection, apparently some batches of Crimson Void just came out a littleee too purple lol even tho it was within the “normal variance” of the shades. I’ll check some more recent reviews of them!

Never tide down and favorite sister are my favs too! Also really like burnt bridges from the Dark linears (no one can convince me it's not brown). I see the point of same color different formula.... and I do get annoyed... but they can make as many variations of that aqua blue they want and I'll probably love them all!

omg wait do people say Burnt Bridges isn’t brown?? I mean I know technically for the dark rainbow its supposed to be like orange.. but its brown lol 🤣 and yeah like i do get it and do love to see it for specific colors I like too (Like imagine frosted metals in the colors of Midnight Owl and Starry-Eyed!?) but i think with their 5 initial colors they just weren‘t doing it for me 😅

You're so on point with loving their holo glitter formula! I feel like this formula of theirs is really underrated as other finishes like their linear holos get a lot more love than this one. Plumb luck is one of my favorites too!

I only have one Holo Taco polish: Glamethyst, because I just couldn't resist as a purple and green lover. As a Canadian shopper (I actually live in the same city as Cristine lol) the prices and shipping are pretty killer, I think that one polish cost me around $30! Probably won't be buying again any time soon for that reason lol, I can get other indie brands for cheaper that work great. Shame because I love cool tones :P

Although I do enjoy the holo Taco brand, I did have issues with that first magnetic collection. I ended up getting a refund for my blue and purple since they weren't really responding at all. Otherwise, the frosted metal collection is my favorite and I really wish they would expand on the color range!

The flakie holo topper is one that I never bought nor wanted to, because of the "bar" glitters you talk about. I've seen them close up and I don't think they're bars, it seems like they're actually the foils curling up. I am longing for a holo "shard" topper that doesn't have the curled up coils, because all flakie toppers I've seen (and I will admit that it is not many) has them :c

@@PolishedYogi Oh that is so bizarre! I will admit it was so long since I saw the OG formula that I can't remember it fully, but even the new one at least definitely has the rolled up coils. Bar glitter is such a unique look, I can never decide if I think they're funky or if I think they're weird 😂 I wonder if the glitter cutting machine sometimes makes unintentional bar glitters?

Really loving all these faves videos!! Orange Drink and Lost in the Woods are my absolute favorite Holo Tacos! Lost in the Woods is so beautiful, I originally didn't think I would end up loving it as much as I do. I have Dead Petals, I'm not super familiar with the controversy that happened but I think its a very pretty color. It's understated (the holo effect, anyway; the color is quite dark) and definitely less flashy than other Holo Tacos but I appreciate the subtlety it has indoors. :)

yay thank you, that makes me so happy to hear! and ugh yeah I always gasp at swatch pics of Lost in the Woods, its sooo enchanting! so iirc, the ‘controversy’ was more around Crimson Void specifically not being like a true deep red like the website photos, a lot of people were posting comparisons to Dead Petals on reddit last year and they were sooo similar, so CV just had more purple basically. i think ppl solved it by adding Red Licorice to CV so I guess I have a backup plan lol. but yeah I almost do like the color of Dead Petals more anyway! 🤩🤩

Great video! Omg you basically named my favs and my wants lol. 😂🥰 I looove Modest Moss and Fallen Flake Taco- gorgeous. And Plumb Luck and Menchie Cat Eye are Top of my wishlist! Along w Banana Medicine- the pastel yellow. I meow want Oat Couture, Holo Cappuccino, Hydropower and Magenta Jelly. Modest Moss is one of my favorite polishes, I constantly get compliments when I wear it! The only thing close is Ella+Mila Evergreen, which is gorgeous- a little but lighter. You mentioned a lot of my favorites! I also love Featured Guest, Burnt Bridges, and Peach Tea. I watched a couple of videos to see lots of comparisons between Dead Petals and Crimson Void and decided to just get Dead Petals and I love it!

Reflective Taco is my absolute favorite!!! I have so many reflective toppers, but none of them have such delicate and finely milled reflective glitters as HT. Honestly I put it on basically everything, but over the crushed holographics is my go to. I also would definitely recommend people pick up some of the wide brushes, because that makes application of everything easier and normally only the cremes come with the wide brush, although I’ve noticed some of the newer collections are coming with the wide brush by default.

Yess I remember hearing great things about their Reflective Taco specifically being super fine and not gritty like others! Maybe when I run out of KB’s Out Of Sequins I’ll pick that one up, I lovee a dainty reflective sparkle! And 💯💯 to the wide brushes, I didn’t emphasize getting those enough lol.

Well done video! Love your honest opinions. I have more of this brand than others as i got into nail polish at the start of the pandemic and i went a little crazy on their site but not a die hard fan. Plenty of other brands doing for cheaper with more interesting finishes. Magenta Jelly is my favorite color and scattered holo taco is my most used polish. It is the perfect touch to any manicure. My blue and purple didn't magnetise for the magnetic set. Thanks for the thinner tip!. My flakie taco has bars but i do like them. Purchased in 2020. And for the dark rainbow, crimson void and dead petals wayyyy too close. In a dark rainbow linear holo skittle, i replaced the red with kb shimmer sip back and relax and then dark pink with magenta jelly mixed with electrostatic. Lots of great recommendations in this video!

Great recommendations! Been eyeing Coral Chaser for some time so I'll be picking that one up! Also will be getting the rest of the vacation collection, Fallen Flake Taco, and a few fall cremes. Still thinking about Fairy Tail. What's holding me back is that I think I have too many browns for someone who didn't wear brown polish until this year 😅

Love all your picks! Some of my alltime favs are plumb luck, dead petals, lost in the woods, mint money, pinky swear, cereal killer, too good to be blue, and bored meeting. Crimson Void is my favorite HT polish. I like that it looks like a dark and toned down burgundy until the light hits it. Its gorgeous and ive gotten so many compliments - especially at restaurants. I have not tried my fallen flake topper, yet, but i love the way it looks over that navy. Im going to have to try that.

Hey Stefanie! Holo Taco is such a great brand- I love their unique formulas & the quality is great. My favourite formula is their glitters-my favs being midnight spark & plumb luck. I don’t actually like how play rose looks on my skin tone, I wish it was more on the pink side. I’m going to be using it as a topper though. I have hydropower but I really wish I had never tide down instead since it’s more unique than just a linear holo. Flakie holo taco is my most used polish, bc I always want to jazz up crème nails. The frosted metal formula is insanely pretty in person, I have frozen bananas and I really want mint money & fake date. I’d also love to get glamethyst & espresso your holo but I can’t afford anything from them right now. I agree with you about the price point, but I can justify spending on formulas you can only get from HT. (They actually don’t ship to my country so I can only place orders when my friend comes from America.) Anyway, please could you include nail checks in your videos, I always try and pause the video to try and catch a glimpse of your nail art or whatever shade you’re wearing 😅❤

Using it as a topper sounds so pretty though 🤩 ahh hopefully you use up Hydropower sooner than later so you can get Never Tide Down, it’s stunninggg. I’m in the UK so I’ve been waiting a solid year since I found HT to order from their next Black Friday sale, can’t wait 🤩 glad to see some of the ones I had in mind in this list - never tide down, frost light and modest moss! I’m so in love with this series. I have been into the nail space since October of last year and this is the only boutique brand that I haven’t tried yet. I just don’t like how high is their free shipping, but also their limited edition collections tent to sold out so fast. I was disappointing with the Holo Taco Safiya collection that I couldn’t even get it. I already have my wish list for BF, so I can justify investing in this brand since usually holo isn’t my favorite finish. But I want to buy a couple of holos from them since I figure the formula is really good because it is the pigment that inspired the creation of the brand. I also hope to get a couple of shades from the vacation collection because “Beach please” and “Hide tie” together look stunning.

thank you sooo much Ana!! 🥰 and ahh yeah the free shipping threshold can definitely be a lot depending on the brand! and i totally hear you about their Limited Edition collections :/ I do think they’re fun/beautiful but it really is a shame soo many people [esp international customers] end up missing out bc they’re trying to wait for the right time to order. i know its bc HT is massiveee, i hope they can physically expand to a bigger warehouse or something to be able to meet the demand, though i think they’ve gotten better at forecasting this past year. Was pleasantly surprised to see menchie cat eye! I'm a big fan too (I love chartreuse greens, but also I agree they did a great job just nailing the inspo lol). just wore it again; my first wear the cat eye line really spread out so this time i painted layers (on the thick side) with the magnet under the nail, then flipped it around to hover over top and get the line really crisp. I think all magnetics are going to have a little spread over time, but I was really happy with the results, the base color is just so stunning! And seriously, no worries about not having every last polish. I for one am not expecting that out of you or any other swatcher/reviewer haha!

yess Menchie Cat Eye is super cute! i debated not including it since it likely won’t be eligible for the sale but i think its a must have! and oh yeah using the magnet over the nail will definitely give an even crisper line! i just tend to ding my nail so its easier for me to hold it under, I might try flipping my nail upside down like you mentioned though! and yes thats definitely true about all magnetics diffusing, I should’ve clarified better but I think with Holo Taco their magnetic shimmer is just softer looking, more like a sheen, than how twinkly other brands’ magnetics can be (at least this is how i remember feeling when i did comparisons in my Magnetic Magic video). but yea either way they’re still super pretty!! and lol thank you for understanding! 🫶🏼

@@PolishedYogi oh no I just wanted to mention what worked for me in case anyone who reads comments was looking for suggestions on working with the formula! you were (and usually are) perfectly clear haha! I think I'm one of those people you mentioned find the HT magnetics just a bit more finicky in my very limited experience, and with MCE I was getting more gold and no green with the magnet under the finger, so just wanted to share my experimenting! but yes the dings are so real 😮‍💨 (oh and I don't flip my nail upside down, I just combine the same method you use with the hover after! nothing new for you to try)

Seconding oat coture and espresso your holo, plus I adore modest moss but you can probably get a similar creme in a drugstore brand (Sally Hansen miracle gel leaf me be is my favorite mossy green polish shade ever) I LOVE the crushed holo formula ❤❤ Some of my personal faves: Late Checkout Mint Money Aquafoil/Iron Violet Brownie Points Bat B*tch And I cannot understate how much their one coat black is a life-changer. It’s perfectly opaque, great feel, self levels well, but still thick enough to use for nail art. Immaculate polish. I get the most compliments when I wear Favorite Sister and Berry Me In Holo, maybe because people like reds. I used to love the super glossy taco formula but they discontinued it and I don’t love the regular glossy taco formula as much. I recomment ILNP’s Glass Candy or Mooncat’s Speed Demon instead 😅

Yessss!!! Holo Taco time! I completely agree with you on the criticism you and many others share around the same-ness of colors in their releases. I also agree with you that I feel like they're straying away from that more, which is horrible for my wallet but great for the brand. I personally only have HT polishes. It was a conscious decision to not go bankrupt and the price point was perfect for my budget when I started "bribing" myself to stop biting my nails. But absolutely understand the critiques being thrown their way and hopefully they continue to listen, grow and improve. My top picks from Holo Taco would be: - Any and all of the Barista Bundle. Any future crushed holo polishes they release will be an insta-buy from me 😍 - Any of their toppers. I know you can get similar with other brands but I've loved having the multiple options (unicorn skins and reflective especially) to help take a manicure to the next level ✨ - Mint Money. It's the mint green frosted metal sister to Fake Date (which is also amazing). I'm in love with it and pairs so well with a darker toned polish for a fun accent nail or tip 💸 - I also really rate their cremes. Again, I don't have a ton of experience with other brands to compare them with, but I've found them super self-leveling and forgiving to my very beginner skill level🧡 Also thank you for showing Indigo Away with Fallen Flake Taco on top!! I picked up Indigo Away as a rewards polish during the birthday launch and wanted to wear it but would have never thought to put Fallen Flake on it and it's BEAUTIFUL!!! My manicure for next weekend has already been decided. 💅

i’m so glad you get it too! especially as someone who has exclusively shopped Holo Taco. it really is like a smaller group that are always more extreme lol 😅 couldnt agree more about the crushed holo, i neeeed more!! yeah the toppers are def beautiful too, I really don’t use mine enough 🙈 ohh i know this is crazy but i was never crazyy about Mint Money, but you mentioning pairing it with a darker color sounds soo beautiful!! 🤩 yeah their cremes are generally great, only a few I’ve tried had more of a crelly formula which I personally don’t love, but the others are really nice! I just find them similar to the toppers where you can pretty much find dupes that perform the same but for cheaper 🙈 YAY i’m glad you loved Fallen Flake over Indigo Away! it was soo breathtaking, you’re gonna love wearing that combo!! so moody and fitting for fall imo 🤩🍁💜

I so agree with so many of your favs!! I skipped on Frost light and plum luck for maybe 2 years? But second guessed not buying them when they announced their retirement. so I bought both along with black holo wish and the red glitter I can’t think of the name atm. But omg. I expected to Love the red and black but honestly didn’t?? And fell in LOVE with the frost and plum colors!! 😨 they’re just SO GOOD. Also love favorite sister. Newly loving oat couture And espresso your holo. I made cow nail art with them and it was such a nice twist on a cow theme without being such stark black and white! 🐮 ❤ I do agree with the crimson void and dead petals issue tho. Even right next to each other in a mani I can BARELY tell them apart 😅 but I am still obsessed with that full collection. Lost in the woods is the only green polish I actually really like!!!

RoyalTEA blue was actually the first creme in a color other than white or black, but when she released indigo away it was pretty similar in tone so I think that's why she discontinued that shade. Great video :)

I appreciate your take! I love the brand and i love the fact that they're manufactured in the U.S. and that they're 7 free. I have just about every polish in their current lineup plus some of the past limited editions, Plumb luck is one of my favorites! I was so sad when they announced it was retiring!! Lavenduh and Royal Tea blue are other retired shades I miss ❤

I bought the Dark Rainbow bundle last year, and my Dead Petals and Crimson Void definitely looked like dupes - I had to look at them under very bright light to see any kind of difference. To get a proper dark red, I just poured a bit of Orange Drink into Crimson Void (some people used Red Licorice, but for me, RL is too pink).

I agree with a lot of what you're saying. Comparing to other boutique/indie brands (like ILNP, my fave), HT is significantly more expensive. I live in Europe, which makes it even worse. Because of this, my personal bar for how special a polish must be before I am allowing myself to purchase it, is just much higher. I have been eyeing the Barista collection the whole year, because the crushed holo looks really beautiful. I am also a sucker for those aqua colours, so I would love to have Never Tide Down, but I already own Hydropower, so I find it difficult to justify :( For recommendations, you mention you are not much of a multichrome person. I am not a big fan either, mostly because I don't like really dark colours. I don't know why you don't like them much, but I enjoy a few colours from the Light Mode collection because they are much brighter. Encryption Key and Sunset Simulation are my favourites!

I have the vaca collection. Only have used the turquoise. Need to delve more into that collection. Don’t try to soak off Never tide down. It stains terribly only if you try to soak it off. I took forever to fade out. Then I couldn’t wear any of my shears that were anything other than turquoise

oof yeah those blues definitely are stainers!! i’ve heard the same for Hydropower too. I’ve read some people will use a layer of a sheer pink after their base coat but before the blue and that helps prevent staining too!

Yeah. They need to work on reusing colors over and over. I kept saying that from a year ago. I’m glad I’m not alone thinking that. Like the new collection thats coming up. Some of the colors are repeats in this formulation coming up. One of the big reasons I’m passing too

I’m glad there’s been a pretty clear departure from that but yeah they still tend to release colors that are similar to existing ones (like in Vacay collection, Never Tide Down looking like Hydropower, Private Villa being similar to Party Punch etc) and I can see why people are saying the same about this upcoming collection.. but they’re actually a lot more different!

I think it could also be that there are just so many pigments to choose from they are running out of new options and colors. To be honest there are so many dupes from bands across the board. I agree that HT tended to do more… basic? Finishes. But I love the quality and formula, it’s always good imo even if they can be a little thicc 😂! But I too am loving the more recent fun complex finishes! No need to apologize for your opinion. I’m “Holo Royalty” but HT is just one of the brands I love, and I understand the criticisms 100%! yess exactly lol I think sadly basic has developed such a negative connotation, but either way i do think its true for what HT puts out 😅 and yeah I think the slightly thicker formulas are preferred bc they’re great for wearing on their own but also makes them great for nail art! and omg I appreciate you saying that as Holo Royalty lol I know it’s really only the vocal minority who kinda ruin it for everyone, just like in any fandom 🙈 but omg yesss I’m DEVASTATED over Plumb Luck being discontinued after this year!! i’m crossing my fingers they made enough stock to last until Saturday so i can grab a back up too 🤞🏼

@@PolishedYogi I feel like currently there are two indie/boutique brands with very uh…. Intense fans, and HT is one of them 🤣 I’m sad it can kind of push people away from trying it, but I do wish more people were of the mindset that fans do not equal a brand, since HT’s quality is great! There’s a lot of things I would never try or music I would’ve missed out on enjoying if I judged entirely based off of fans, and I don’t know any community that remains 100% cozy and nice once it reaches a certain density. I have followed HT since the beginning but I have never purchased anything from them because I like blues and greens and they haven’t released that many interesting ones. This latest magnetically release has been my favourite launch of HT

yeah finish wise they seem to have released a lot of more ‘basic’ ones, which makes sense when you start a brand lol. but aw so you didn’t like Never Tide Down either? I would lovee to see more finishes like that, but also more color variance lol I’m currently lusting after/daydreaming of a deeeep jewel toned crushed holo collection 🤩🤤

@@PolishedYogi I like more pastel or deep jeweled shades, Never Tide Down is quite bright! Frost Light, Sparkling Water, and Cold Slate are more my types of blues, they're on my HT wish list but not enough to justify international shipping!

I am pale skinned to the point at the end of summer I am caught up with most at the BEGINNING of summer. I always avoided black nail polish because I thought it would look way too gawky on me. I found out a few weeks ago that it actually looks great on me. Light pink looks awful on me though. Crazy thing with cool and warm tones. I never got it either.

So I think I would be considered one of the hardcore holo taco fans since I have almost all of the polishes. The other super hardcore fans who would die defending Simplynailogical and holo taco are really off putting so I do my best to not interact with them and I don’t have a dedicated nail page. I like the brand but I do agree with a lot of the criticisms. The beach collection, the light “multichrome” collection, and the magnetic collections basically had the same exact colors. Personally I didn’t like the marketing for the lite mode (light multichrome) collection because to me they seemed more like duo chrome shimmers. Also wide brush supremacy! Skinny brushes are meh

Now all that being said my recommendations would be: Lunar Unicorn Skin since it looks great on all polishes Wireless mode or flash drive just because I love blue and purple polishes As a purple lover I would go with any of the purple polishes except for Resting Witch Face. For me that polish had more of a crelly formula and I needed 3 coats despite having short nails. I have both Crimson Void and Dead Petals but if I had to pick one I would go with Dead Petals. I like the name and color more lol

I’m so glad you get it lol 🥲 they really can be so scary (or honestly even annoying at times 🙈), I try to be neutral about all brands bc they’re ALL gonna have their highs and lows. Yesss did you see that one post on Reddit too where they lined up those collections and they literally looked the same lol 😅 and oh that’s another pet peeve of mine too- the way Cristine/HT will sometimes describe polishes bc they’re sometimes inaccurate and then cause confusion when talking about other brands/finishes. I remember people were adamant about calling the Barista shades “jellies” just bc they had jelly tinted bases lol 🙈 but 💯 to wide brushes!!! I hope they go back to swap out the brushes in old collections at some point. Anyway sorry for the rant lol but talking about your recs they are all soo pretty!! I def would love to have Lunar US & Wireless Mode. Oh I remember Resting Witch Face being a crelly for me too, idk if mine thickened up over the year but it was a 2 coater the last time I used it, I loveee that one!! And yeah I think if I had to just choose one between Dead Petals and Crimson Void I’d go with Dead Petals, such a beautifuuuul color!! 😍😍

I do not yet own any Holo Taco because of the price point. I just can’t justify it when I can get so many gorgeous ILNP polishes for 40% less(regular price). With exchange rate and shipping it is just too much. However, I do intend to splurge one day because they have beautiful polishes and I would like to try them, so I have a wish list. Just not sure yet when the $ gods will smile upon me 😂

ugh yes exactlyyy! like I don’t mean to compare brands alll the time, but as a consumer it’s just hard to justify Holo Taco unless you’re a huge fan of Cristine lol. maybe the formulas are generally thicker too esp compared to ILNP, but at the end of the day I care most about value like price for quality, and ILNP always wins, even if its by a little 🙈 but aw i hope you can splurge eventually!! whats on your wishlist?

That’s a big chunk of my Black Friday money and there are so many great indie polishes/deals out there. If Holo Taco has a great sale or even better includes a shipping deal it’s possible.

RIP every brand's skinny brushes. Not everyone has giant sausage fingers. The wide brushes are usually larger than my entire pinky nail and sometimes larger than my ring finger nail as well. 😢
