Not to mention: “Also we killed a man together six years ago in Nebraska.” “We wanted to feel like God.” *Camera cut* “Those adventures started soon after Mulaney arrived at college at Georgetown university.”
Rosie Dignan no shitttttt!!!!! They would f’ing kill!!!!!! Problem is they’re...well... It could work but the Oscars really wants someone more female or ethnic. Regardless, if ppl would just chill out and enjoy the show the Oscars would be so much more fun and funny with these guys hosting for a few years. Since Billy Crystal hosted the Oscars show has been super boring and predictable. The whole audience looks like they can’t wait to just go party.
Doubt the Oscars would every allow them to actually shine with their jokes. Watch any of their hosting gigs at Independent Spirit Awards - they roast everyone and don't hold back. Oscars is too "polite" to let them do that stuff.
John Mulaney is college is ... Strange. Like I know he did hard drugs and makes jokes about being a tall child that needs some sleep, but oh my god ....... How did this 12 year old child get access to cocaine
Yeah I hate to say this but John does not pull of a beard, it strangely makes him look way younger, like that he's a 20 year old trying to pull off a beard look before his time
These two are amazing together. The chemistry is off the charts There's something about John Mulaney that is so naturally funny. I think his voice has a lot to do with it but there's something else. Just can't put my finger on it. Whatever it is, it's working lol
actually, watching this video reminded me that Nick Kroll is 3 years older than John Mulaney, which makes him a very young Gen Xer! Not trying to be invalidate your point just thought it was interesting
Colbert and Carrell! Stewart's fantastic but wasn't really a real improv guy. Colbert and Carrell did so much great shit together from their humble beginnings to Dana Carvey Show and then on to The Daily Show.
@@gabelogan56 And if we are getting even more specific it should be Colbert and Dinello, as he is Colbert OG partner and still works with him, but he isn't as known.
@@gabelogan56 I'd reccomend looking up Exit 57 sketches like Troy & Laughton, Salmon, or Down In the Basement. There's also a short film called Shock Asylum where the both appear and its as disturbing as it's interesting. And if you want to see how they hold up now I'd just go for the first ever Friday Night Fights segment of The Late Show. All of this is on RU-vid. Enjoy!
Had this playing while I was doing dishes and wasn’t even paying attention when I heard “Where you can sit next to someone’s dying Abuela” and almost gave myself a concussion dying of laughter
No kidding. The first time I watched this and saw John's college picture I thought "DAMN, he was not exaggerating AT ALL!" See, I'd figured claiming he "looked 11" was a bit of hyperbole for comedy's sake. No. No it was not.
Comedy Bang Bang. think it's on Netflix now. Also worth checking out Nick's work on there as Fabrice, especially the episode with Aziz and his marsupial poem.
I feel bad for people who still don't know John Mulaney and Nick Kroll, I recently discovered them after watching big mouth and I am really glad I did 😩
