Nice family Vid...You know, it's rare to see a ranger in Karijini, but you must have been at the right place at the right time. But, I usually visit in February, when there's less tourist that complain about rangers.

Cheers mate! Haha, yeah we must've timed it just right! February sounds like a solid time to visit-less crowds, more nature. Guess we’ll have to plan another trip in the off-season! 😉

Randomly stumbled onto this video. I'm glad I chose to watch it. It takes a lot of effort to do stuff like that with kids.. Especially keeping yourself that fit. Well done. Cheers from the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario Canada.

Thanks so much, mate! Glad you stumbled across our video and enjoyed it! It definitely takes a bit of effort, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Keeping active and exploring with the kids is what we love. Cheers from Australia to Canada!

I find your video very refreshing. I watch many lap travel channels, and I like your style. I have subbed and added you to my favorite list. I am looking forward to your many adventures to come. I like the way your family interacts with each other, and you show a side of places that others skim over. Cheers from Oregon, USA

Just found your channel and loved this episode. I've seen all these places on RU-vid before, so it's not the discovery of these gorges that made me subscribe, more about the style in which you present yourselves that's cool. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure.

Hey there! Wow, thanks so much for watching all our vids and for the feedback-we really appreciate it! How exciting that you’ll be doing the same trip next year, you’re going to have an absolute blast! Its the best choice we've ever made!! Yeah, we were pretty surprised they didn’t let us stay an extra night too, especially with the kiddos in tow. One of those unexpected moments on the road, I guess! Glad you love the setup, we’re pretty chuffed with it too. And yes, we’re definitely planning to head to SA at some point. We were there earlier in the year for a short period of time but it started getting cold so we scooted up North. Cheers, Zo & Luke

2 things guys . The rangers and what u call micromanaging being a problem is due to accidents one being my sister falling 15m and waiting 12 hrs for assistance rescue . The coloured stickers on the rocks are for people to know be level of difficulty and the easiest walking path so both are there for very good reason and your comments were silly to be honest .
@ArnoldsAroundOz
@ArnoldsAroundOz Месяц назад
Hey Darline, Thanks for sharing, and we're really sorry to hear about your sister’s accident-that sounds absolutely terrifying, and we hope she's doing okay now. Just to clarify, the stickers we were referring to weren’t the ones marking the path -they were the “do not climb” ones, which we understand is a bit different. We absolutely respect the importance of the coloured markers and use them ourselves-our kids even love tapping them and calling them power-ups! We've done quite a few difficult graded walks and rock climbs across the country, and always try to balance having fun with staying safe. In this instance we felt we weren't able to do that because we didn't feel as though we had the freedom to make choices for ourselves. Appreciate you reaching out, and thanks for the feedback. Cheers, Zoe & Luke

lolooo yeah I understand they have a serious problem with idiot people not sticking to marked trails. 5yrs ago whilst wrk n up there some young lads we're fckn around n 1 slipped n fell 20mtrs what a mess he made . Yeah I'm with you fashion police
@ArnoldsAroundOz
@ArnoldsAroundOz Месяц назад
Haha, yep, totally get where you're coming from! It’s a real shame that a few people not sticking to the trails can lead to such serious accidents-20 metres is no joke! That must’ve been a pretty rough experience to witness. And haha, glad we’re on the same page with the fashion police! 😎 Stay safe out there! Arnolds Around Oz

Had to turn off with the constant winging about the rangers. Bet if something went wrong and your kids needed help you would be grateful.

Hey, we appreciate your feedback and understand where you’re coming from. We actually mention in the video that we have a lot of respect for the rangers and the important work they do. And you're right-if we ever needed help, especially with the kids, we’d be incredibly grateful for their support. We simply felt like we couldn't explore the gorge in the way we wanted because we were literally being told where to step. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!
