We left Vietnam after three weeks and traveled further to Malaysia. We landed in Kuala Lumpur and it was another cultural shock for us. But we loved it! Everything about this big city amazed us. Modernity meeting tradition. Nature meeting Skyline. And Batu Caves! We were amazed by them and enjoyed very much visiting this beautiful sacred place. Of course as a food lovers we found also a Food Paradise! :)

KL is a fantastic city. Local food, huge spaces, slow pace, affordable luxury items. It does not run out of aesthetics. Friendly vibes. Efficient transportation.

_Selamat datang kembali_ Welcome back to KL/malaysia! Thank you for being repeat customers hahah 👍 You can eat a lot every day while touring malaysia, and not worry about gaining too much weight in the end, because you'd do lots of walking whenever travelling to other countries, plus the weather helps to burn away or to get rid of the excesses 😂😂 Hey, when was the last time you two lovebirds were back in berlin? I managed to stay a few days in berlin earlier this year before moving to munich also for a few days, very nice! 👍 I also walked at least 12-15 thousand steps every day discovering both cities and yeah it was really great!

Terima kasih! We are happy to be back in Malaysia! Loving everything here... Okay, maybe not the air humidity nad the heat. It really helps to sweat the whole fat out🤣 We've been the last time to Berlin in July this year, before we left for this trip. We are glad you liked it! Are you planning to return to Germany?

@@Throughherandhiseyes hey, glad to know that you two like malaysia enough to come twice despite the climate haha. I like berlin and germany, well europe in general, as well but nah, I don't think I'll be going again because it's too costly for malaysians, not just the return airfares, but also the daily costs there, Airbnb, food... 😔 I was very fortunate to be able to tour a bit of germany as well as a few other european cities like paris, prague, copenhagen, barcelona etc, at that time because I was in the UK for a year, there I managed to get affordable airfares, some even very low ones during promotions! 😊🥰 Definitely enjoyed it and if I can afford the costs then I would absolutely go for revisits

Malaysia was definitely high on our Bucket List when we were planning this travel. We understand completely the financial struggle... Yes, the world is unfair and we talk often about it, how privileged we are having EU Passports. Not only because we earn more in Europe, but also regarding Visa requirements. Sometimes we are annoyed of some people on RU-vid talking how cheap everything is here in SE Asia. Yes, it is. For us, not necessarily for locals 😢 But... don't give up on your dreams! We were saving for this trip for the last 5 years 😉 And... Western Europe is also expensive for us to travel.

Hello! Interesting to see how both of you have been exploring Kuala Lumpur and the enjoying the local food. Is there a Part - 2 coming? Did you get to try the so called national dish, beef rendang? Excellent choice of accomodation there. 😊
@Throughherandhiseyes
@Throughherandhiseyes 8 месяцев назад
Thank you! We enjoyed Kuala Lumpur very much! Yes, there is more content from Malaysia coming soon😉 Funny that you mentioned beef rendang! We haven't been eating it this time yet, but we did in the past. It's our second time in Malaysia, we have visited 10 years ago and then we've tried it. We love it and we even learned to make it. We cooked it sometimes back home in Europe. It's one of our favorite foods!😁

@@Throughherandhiseyes Thats good to know there are more content coming! 😀 looking forward to see what else you both have enjoyed there from my UK home. Wow to your effort on cooking beef rendang! Recreating dishes is always exciting yet can be challenging. With all your travelling in Asia, have you both been thinking of re-creating dishes you used to have back in Europe?😄
@Throughherandhiseyes

Yes, it was definitely challenging to gather all the ingredients in Europe 😁 We enjoy so much the local food, that we are not even thinking about cooking dishes from home. Not yet al least 😉

@Throughherandhiseyes do you like jungles and waterfalls? If you do, there are two spots you can try near kl(not far) 1. Kanching waterfalls 2. Templer's park Bring mosquitoe repellant. However, at the heart of the city there are already 2 nature parks. 1. KL Eco park 2. Perdana lake gardens

Welcome to Malaysia. Actually we have various options and affordable costs. Up to everyone budgets. But please take care about safety first. For example some motels may cheaper than hotels. But maybe can choose homestay which near to public transport. Normally homestay in housing area have cheaper foodstalls compared to middle of city centre.

Welcome to KL, Malaysia is Truly Asia. Although the Petronas Towers fell to the fourth place of the tallest building in the world, it still remains the tallest 'twin tower' in the world because of no one else, but the uniqueness of the Petronas Twin Towers is a symbol of Malaysia's "pewter' landmark...

Hallo @Monty_NSW, glad our video could help 😀 We stayed at ''The Robertson Residences Bukit Bintang'', they have many apartments in this building. You need to check when booking if it has balcony. Not all of them have. We booked directly for 5 nights (and out of a high season) , that's why the price was so good.
