Moe and Larry were the best stooges who were best friends. They’ve first met each other in 1929 When they were young. Together, The 2 Jewish men were best friends ever since. Moe was born in June 19,1897 and Larry was born in October 2,1902. Moe was from Brooklyn and Larry was from Philadelphia.Since 1975, The 2 great men died a couple months apart. Larry had a stroke and was paralyzed and Moe had lung cancer with breathing problems. Even though some women hated them, Everyone should also remember not just your families but also your friends just like we remembered Moe and Larry together.
Moe and Larry sure have great chemistry together! I wish that it would've been just Moe and Larry doing a 2 man comedy team right after Shemp died, that would've been so much better than seeing them team up with Joe Besser
It actually wouldn't because there wouldn't have been any third man to really observe what would be going on. That was what Larry was best known for, watching Moe do a number on Curly or Shemp. Joe and Curly Joe fit better into the Larry role better than the Curly role.
Yeah, especially when Moe hits Curly over the head with the sledgehammer and says to Moe “OH LOOK”. The hammer is flattened and Moe slaps Curly in the face and screams…”LOOK WHAT YOU DID. YOU RUINED A PERFECTLY GOOD HAMMER!”
God bless you knuckleheads keep the laughs coming the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing no one close to the 3 stooges your legacy of laughter and slapstick and dancing and eye poking still continues on you may be gone but not forgotten still going somethings never go out style way to go appreciate a good laugh and the memories you guys rock way to go ❤😂😂 Joe
Poor Larry, when Shemp and Curly died. Joe Besser didn't like to be hit.So Larry stepped in and said Moe could hit him instead! Larry was a trooper! RIP to the 4 original Stooges!
Recede. Haha. The Apple smash on the forehead is one of the most disrespectful things you can do to another man. Larry does it Shemp in “All gummed up” and it’s the best thing I’ve seen Larry do.
Moe: Hey, are you going to eat that alone? Larry: Nah, I'll wait. Maybe I'll get some potatoes! The most underestimate of the boys, Larry had a wonderful way of delivering his lines that was, at times, very inspired.👏👏👏👏
Two of the funniest men ever appreciate a good laugh after all these years later thanks the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing always a classic to watch keep the laughs coming thanks job well done you should be proud RIP moe Howard and larry fine. Joe
The power of the Stooges. Few comedians make me laugh so robustly and so often. These men were heroes. I'm sorry Moe, it was an accident. Sure it was kid. That was no accident.

I always thought Moe and Larry would've done better together after Shemp past away. But the Producers was paying for 3 Stooges, not for 2 Stooges. Moe and Larry had talked about that in one of their last interviews in the early 1970s.
all three of these are great! the only favorites of mine I miss are "what happened here?" from Hoi Polloi and "I didn't hit you in the head - yet" and "let me give you some advice" from If A Body Meets A Body
I'm also a huge Shemp fan. I think the shorts with him are funnier than most of the ones with Curly. Curly was good, but his character was different. He was more of a man/child. Shemp was more sophisticated (if a stooge can be that!!). Plus, I think Shemp was, by far, the better actor. He could do more than Curly and didn't forget his lines. Curly certainly had his moments.
While Moe always got the lion's share of smacking people around, if it weren't for Larry to play off of, the Stooges wouldn't have been as funny, even with Curly. And I was never a fan of Joe Besser or Curly Joe. They tried, but there was only one Curly.
I don't think so...his only son died in 1961 at the age of 24 in a car accident. This was 1946, so his son would have been 9 or 10 at the time, not a baby.
