Pedazo de vídeo y de consola, yo no la tuve ni conocía su existencia ( afortunadamente, sino no hubiera aprobado nada 🤪), pero la he conocido hace poco gracias a la emulación y estoy flipando bastante con su catálogo. Dejando de lado algunos juegos muy muy del gusto japonés, tiene auténticas obras de arte, sólo citar Castlevania Rondo of Blood, Lords of Thunder, Gate of Thunder, las conversiones de arcade que eran asombrosas para la época, la recreativa en casa ,Street Fighter 2 Champions Edition, Daimakaimura, Raiden, Darius, Gradius, R Type, Splatterhouse, Ninja Spirit, Vigilante, Saint Dragon.... Shooters como Soldier Blade,Rayxanber 1, 2 y 3, ports como Shadow of The Beast( con una banda sonora brutal en CD), una versión muy interesante de Double Dragón 2 ( para mi mejor que la de NES), un Port de Ninja Gaiden de NES que lo mejora en muchos aspectos ( salvo en el scroll), Dragons Curse (la versión del Wonder Boy 3 de Sega Máster System, que para muchos es el mejor juego se Máster System y lo mejora), adventure Island, el Wonder Boy original mejorado.... Arcades exclusivos como Legendary Axe I y II, Kaze Kiri Ninja Action,...Sólo por citar algunos de mi gusto. Arrasó en Japón y le faltó marketing en el resto del mundo. 10 millones de copias entre todas sus versiones ( que tuvo muchas) vendidas, que no está nada nada mal, espero ansioso un segundo capítulo!!
Las adaptaciones de juegos arcade de esta consola son increíbles, en especial la de Street Fighter 2, es una pena que no tuviera más éxito fuera de Japón.
My favourite gaming console of all time. The CD-ROM games were way ahead of its time and a huge leap foward from NES/Master System. The impact was identical going from sprites to polygons graphics in the mid 90s. My favourite PC Engine Games: -Far East of Eden series -Y's I & II - Valis series.
Pepinaco de consola, y de catálogo. El video me ha parecido muy bueno, se me ha pasado volando, enhorabuena. Haber vivido este sistema en el momento, debió ser una experiencia brutal, tanto por sus juegos como por la forma física de la consola, tan pequeñita y tan matona. Y qué bien implementado estuvo el cd, con juegos que eran eso, juegos, y no FMV como la MegaDrive. Eso sí, esperamos el mismo video para las Snes y MegaDrive 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻 Saludos!
This has to be one of the trickiest console to collect for due to the different hardware iterations the different cards to needed to play certain games. But still a great system with some great games.
A wise man once said "Spending crazy amounts of money collecting original hardware for games that you'll probably never play more than once is damn stupid... just emulate the games and stop giving ridiculous amounts of money to resellers"
@@Haywood-Jablomie This may of been true a few years back but now with the Retro boom, the price of these consoles and hardware has sky rocketed. I myself do have ps1,2 and Psp but majority of my gaming is done in Launchbox with over 9000 games at my disposal. I prefer it that way and so do many others like yourself.
TurbograFX o más bien PC-Engine tienen excelentes juegos cómo los Bomberman, Street Fighter II Turbo o Champion Editions, Fatal Fury 2 Special, El juego de Bruce Willis Duró de Matar (Está en Japón), Bonks, Ninja Gaiden y Castlevania Rondo of Blood el mejor juego de Castlevania.
mato solo por los soundtracks de los juegos en CD, despues en si son juegos en un intermedio entre 8 y 16 bits. Me llama mucho la atencion que no haya tenido el exito que tuvieron sus competidores. En Argentina hoy por hoy se consiguen los juegos pero Hu cards. no asi los CDs
I've been collecting for this system since the 80s I was playing this while my friends were playing Nintendo and master system. Then the genesis came out, but there cd system was done right the games were great, Sega cd which I bought on release day cuz I worked in electronics Boutique was nowhere near as good even though it could of been.
@@The_Last_Ninja no they REALLY dropped the ball with the 32X I remember when my dad bought it for us and thinking how most the games on it weren't great... even at the time!! It was a ripoff...I guess that's why my dad went back to Nintendo products with the N64' but then he bought a Ps2
This is a great console to collect for. Just get the pce versions, not the U.S. simply because the USA prices are over inflated. Most games don't require knowing Japanese.
If they had marketed it better and brought the cost down this would have beaten both snes and genesis. But again Nintendo with third party licensing agreement played dirty at the time.
I know it won't happen any time soon if ever (with Konami releasing a mini console) but I'd love to see these in a compilation for actual existing systems that anyone can play. There are so many good gems here that go completely unnoticed and it's a shame.
No es que sea tan famosos pero fue revolucionario fue la primera de usar chips de 16 con dos de 8 bist pero con precesador de 16 bits en si es una consola con catalogo japones pero en japon fue revolucionaria y se le tiene cariño porque en si supero en graficos a nes de 8 bits pero en si su catalogo es bueno tiene 127 juegos que considero los mejores de esta consola
