This time on Dreamtime Sail we leave stunning Bait Reef to sail our Whitby 42 ketch to some of the Whitsunday Islands most beautiful locations starting with Langford Reef off Hayman Island. We spend a tranquil night on a mooring at Stonehaven on Hook Island before making our way to Tongue Bay and the truly awe inspiring Hill Inlet on Whitsunday Island.
After a pleasant downwind sail along the island’s gleaming silica sand lined shore, we discover the outstanding anchorage at Chances Bay and make the trek up to the lookouts and across the island to the world famous Whitehaven Beach.
Along the way we sail with SV Velindra and come across ‪@SailingNoRegrets‬ in the Hook Passage.
It’s tropical sailing odyssey in twenty minutes.

Glad you enjoyed the video Judy. Chance Bay was a very pleasant discovery for us. We're looking forward to getting back there again. We aim to have a new video out every second Friday unless life gets in the way. Cheers!

A lovely compilation which makes the most of pristine beaches and crystal clear waters. We have heard such a lot about Liam and Alison's friendship with you both and Dreamtime and to see it in action is really inspirational. Thank you for contributing to their albums and memories, and may your paths cross again soon. Best wishes, Frances and Michael. Cape Town

Thanks so much Mike. We really enjoyed Liam and Alison's company along the way. We all had a lot of fun. We will be catching up with them again before we sail back north. Cheers!

Fabulous scenery, what a place to sail. The lookout was just stunning, almost didn't look real. Thanks for sharing ⛵😍

Thanks guys. Karen and I met in the Whitsundays a long, long time ago. She grew up there so it's like home for us. It would be easy to be a bit biased but the area is really world class cruising grounds.

LOL, we thought we were a bit behind on episodes.. I don't feel so bad now. When we get back around to the east coast and in the same anchorage we definitely must catch up!

A catch up sometime would be really great. Yep we're a long, long way behind but put our dates on everything so people can see when it was recorded. Rob had a break from editing and publishing videos last year while he underwent cancer treatment. We also missed the 2021 cruising season. The good news is the cancer is now a thing of the past and we're preparing to cast off and head north again. Hopefully we'll be able to be more current soon. Cheers!
