It does not matter what year it is, Dream theatre pieces are always way ahead of every generation. This art is gone when these rock generation is gone. You will see more and more like of System of a Down type because fans are becoming more and more crazy like the bands.
Coming back to it two years later and after listening to 'Dream Theater' I can confirm: Mangini is beast, but Portnoy is and always will be the godfather of technical, yet emotional, 'breathing' drumming

This is one of the most emotional songs of DT. Definitelly one of my favorites beside "The spirit carries on". Both makes my eyes teary every time. Masterpieces

El problema es que el queria tiempo indefinido y dejar la banda botada, no justamente para dejar de tocar, sino mas bien irse a tocar con otros musicos, que en mi opinion actualmente estan fuera de su estilo. Mike portnoy fuera de dream theater ya no brilla. Mike Brilla con petrucci y rudess basicamente.

Podem falar o que quiser do MP, linda música , linda homenagem ao seu Pai e a pessoas importantes na nossa vida . O cara é foda , comparar Mangini e ele são Muito diferente .Pra mim mike além de. Tocar com o coração ele e foda no improviso e excelente compositor. Coisa que o mangini não e tão bom assim . Mais e minha opinião . Amo Dream Theater .
