I was just thinking that, this looks pretty fun to drive actually. It doesn't have to be Codemasters... But a good simulation game with VR support especially (something the F1 games still lack) could go a long way at creating more fans. VR works wonders for racing games in general of course but the combination of open seat driving and lots of walls/objects around you seems like a match made in heaven for VR. Back in the days, Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix was what got me really interested in Formula 1. Up to that point I had very little interest in motorsports.

I think Real Racing 3 has an FE mode now. But then, it's a mobile game and most likely P2W so that doesn't really count

yes GEN 1 CARS had no abs no traction cotrol 720 wheel rotaion very low downforce the were RWD with instant power delivery and no power steering GEN 2 is paradise compare to GEN 1

Makes it more the skill of driving rather than a reliance on technology. Best days in F1 were the 80's where the cars were manually shifting monsters, unlike today where they are pretty much remote control.

Looking forward to the race day in Berlin, will come with father in law and show him the new world of formula We have evertime banter about oldschool stuff and the new stuff , i like quads and he likes rc planes ,i like digital remote , he likes his old low mhz remote, i like formula e he like formula 1 , but we will see if i can convince him a bit :D

I'm new in Fe, and I have a question: how much cars does a team have in a hole season?

Each team has 4 cars per race, 2 for each driver. I believe those 4 cars are used for every race in the season, and aren't replaced. Next season, drivers will only get 1 car each, formula 1 style!

DaniLoReyF1_YT It is because each driver has to make car swaps in the generation 1 cars. Next season however they won't have car swaps half way through the Race with the generation 2 cars.

Inside of drivers helmet seems uncomfortable for the drivers, what's best is to put a camera on top of their helmet (helmet cam). IndyCar & NASCAR already came up with this method, and it's provide really great view for the audience.
