It took me 5 months but my shop just passed it's first $1000 in revenue!! The past three months, I've consistently pulled in over $230/mo and I've been SLACKING because I worked myself so hard to get it started!! So now it's turning into $200+ per month semi-passive! It feels 100% passive though, because the only real "work" I do now is to send a quick msg to buyers after each sale and replying to reviews. Takes maybe 15 seconds each time. YES it takes work upfront. I can't even tell you how many hours I spent designing my shop, figuring out the overall look, creating and editing graphics for my listings (currently I have 221 listings total), etc. but knowing that I have a steady flow of at least $200 extra per month for the foreseeable future is so freakin' worth it!! THANK YOU!! Your videos were the ones that got me here!!

What RU-vidrs Don't Tell You About AI Art: Approval required: To sell on most major Print on Demand (POD) platforms, you need to be accepted as a seller or artist beforehand, which can take a significant amount of time depending on demand. High competition: There is an immense amount of competition, and AI-generated art is not as profitable as it may seem, since the market is saturated and professional designers are earning their living in the same space. Clickbait videos: RU-vidrs who create videos with thumbnails displaying specific numbers like '$8848.39' are selling a dream and making money off your clicks. Passive income potential: Although AI art creation can be a source of passive income, you will need to produce a large volume of work and even engage in promotion to have any hope of selling anything, or else your pieces will be lost among the countless others.

Another very important factor that those promoting AI content often ignore, is that AI generated content can't be copyrighted. Someone could grab all the images and sell them themselves, because there's no legal ownership. This also means it isn't a solid business model. You can invest a lot of time and money into promoting this work and not get much from it

While its nice that you explained everything in detail, but so does every other youtuber who makes these types of videos. What I would want to see that nobody ever shows is actually making money from that same shop you created. Show your first sales, how long it took, what type of SEO you had to do, did you pay for ads on etsy etc. Its easy to follow this, create a shop and publish the listings, but actually getting your product seen and even getting the first sale is a far far different thing as the market is very very competitive and theres hundreds of these shops that do the exact same thing. Show me how you take this exact shop to making 834 USD a day, otherwise its just a clickbait

Tried this for the last month. Followed along step by step. Chose custom pet prints as this was a great niche. Got 0 sales in 3 weeks. So tried again, sold the same as is shown in the videos. Got 0 sales + 0 views in 3 weeks. So went against the advice and ran ads - 18 sales in 3 days! Good concept but you fail to mention that the sellers who are killing it are also the sellers who are killing you. The competition is so high in this niche that you don’t even get a look-in. Possibly ‘try’ these ideas for a month before promoting them as a ‘how to’ tutorial.

I gave this a try so far i haven't sold a single digital poster xD. What surprisingly has worked is digital printable items with utility i tried running Etsy ads at the minimum of one dollar per day and made an average of two sales a month. I was actually loosing money to the Etsy ads and the fees. First they bill you 0.20 cents per listing and once the item sells there are more fees you have to pay and they are not small if you ask me. If you want to make some money i recommend you spend a little extra work creating digital utility prints instead of art. And even with that you will need to create as many good designs as posible. It jas been moths and im still on the negative because i paid for adds. Now that i turned them of the traffic is supper slow. I know this sounds discouraging but 20,000 a month is not a realistic goal. When i average 100 dollar per month i will be celebrating 🤣🤣

Solid advice, my plan is to impact the market with big bundles, once i found my prompt for a catagory (I use photoleap not midjourney) I simply continue to generate high quality images. I want about 4-5 bundle packages because my in mind this seems to be the best way to sell complex digital art. Think of it as selling the convenience of an art gallery at their own home. Then while I generate images i track my prompts as I often experiment. Anything I see as a potential seller that doesn't fit a catagory will be listed individually. Once I am up and running my real bread and butter will be combining art with practical uses. Making planners, to do lists, and calendars up front, opening up a custom request for art. So far this has been very enjoyable just looking at cool art, very low risk and low investment without needing to advertise. Stop making videos please, let me get ahead first :P but really thank you, you had some solid advice in here. Good luck mate.

Wanna think about something really crazy? An AI could quite easily do all these steps for you if it was given the right tools. The prompt would be as simple as "come up with a name for a new Etsy store, create the account, generate 50 pictures of palm trees and beach scenes and let me choose the best ones, crop each image with the following aspect ratios, upload the results to Google drive, create a PDF with a hyperlink to the Google drive, upload the PDFs as products on my store". Then just run that command a few times to generate new Etsy stores and see which one performs the best

Then using photopea it's best will be 1442x2132... not sure when customer will print that out it will fit the quality, I guess we have to print by ourselves in real to be sure... maybe even buy something from another shop to verify how they are sizing them.
