We test a bunch of different pillows here at Sleep Foundation. What do you look for in a pillow? What are some of the criteria you use to judge whether a pillow works for you or doesn't work for you?
Disappointed with my firm down pillow from Brooklinen. From the moment it arrived it had a distinct barnyard aroma. After talking to multiple customer service reps, they assured me that this is normal and that the pillow simply needs to air out. After multiple days of ventilation and a few cycles through the dryer, the odor endured. Also, as a side note, the customer service reps did not follow through with me.
These all look so cozy comfy … or maybe I’m just tired right now haha! But honestly I like that’s there’s something for everyone and that they offer great support for your head and neck while sleeping.
I had a temperpedic recommended by my chiropractor bc I have a chronic whiplash injury. It’s useless IMO. You can’t adjust the roll part and your head lays flat all night which isn’t comfortable for many people. A nice firm DOWN pillow is the best bc it’s supportive and you can adjust it around your neck exactly where you need the support.
I got a Brooklinen and it was a horrible pillow, it sunk so deep and didnt offer support. I'm curious why its getting such a good review, I had to return it instantly
Great feedback. Pillows aren't a one-size-fits-all product, so a pillow that tends to flatten is a great choice for a stomach (and maybe even a back) sleeper.
That Brooklinen pillow was thee worst pillow I’ve ever tried in my hunt for a premium pillow. I’ve slept on hospital pillows with more comfort than that thing. I’m not sure if what they sent me was a defect but it just felt like they stuff a bunch of tissue paper in it and called it a day.
@@MashaHuq I was able to without a hitch. their return policy is pretty great too. They ask if you used it a few times and if you did, they still take the return but they donate that pillow to a foundation that gives them away for people that need it.
Liz Holland 0 seconds ago It would really help in future videos if you would actually touch / manipulate them enough to show us how moldable the pillows are. You hardly touch most of them in the video, so it's not super helpful visually to understand how thick each pillow is and how it responds to pressure and movement. Seeing you standing next to the pillows and mainly talking is not enough. Please consider the way people would touch pillows to get a sense of them when they arrive in the mail... and do that in the video. Otherwise, it's not that informative.
