Yay! Back on domestic soil! Gorgeous video Toby! Did NOT know about this SP and we’re only 3 hours away! It’s now on our list of places to visit. What would we do without you? Welcome back!
I’m leaving Tuesday with friends to camp there for the first time and you’ve made me so excited !!! I can’t wait to explore and meditate in secrete spots you have such a personal feel to your video thank you 💗💕🤗🎊
This video is a great video. If you keep on making videos like this one, people will eventually find you . I believe your channel will grow with this type of video. Thanks
Shh, don't let out the secret! Nah, jokes aside, this park and especially the south grove are absolutely magical. Also love the coastal redwoods! Idk if you've had much time to explore them but there are some very quiet places to hike among them also
Welcome home Toby! So glad you made it safely. What an amazing place to get your tree therapy. You can definitely see it in your face that you are reconnected with Mother's energies. Thanks for sharing the awesome footage of these healing giants. Brought peace to my day too.
Any place there are big trees is a good place to decompress. If you get the chance, visit grandmother Angel Oak, on the coast of South Carolina. As with the Great Reds, all who come within her presence fall almost silent, speaking only in whispers. As you stated, their majesty cannot be communicated by video or stills, though your try was better than mine.
Love your videos! they are informative and very well done. I would definitely love to see this place one day. Maybe since the end of the year is nearing, you could do a top 10 places to go in USA for one of your videos. Piece all your beautiful footage together??? Might be a video a lot of people would enjoy seeing around the holidays?? Anyway, glad you made it back safe.
Thank you for the great video!! So will be staying in Arnold for Christmas! My question is.. does anyone know if there is a good chance for snow up in the Calaveras trees area!?
Welcome back! I'll have to get caught up on your travels. You are right, I've been to all the other National Parks, but not this State Park and Sequoias. Glad you found a quiet place away from the crowds.
That's SOooooo awesome! I hadn't seen those since I was 8 & we were at Yosemite. Back then they didn't rope the trees off. Mom took a picture of us driving our station wagon through one. Were you a little nervous that a bear might be in one of them? Welcome home, I'm glad you're back to the mainland!
Your last video was quite a few days ago, is everything going ok? Or are you back to working again? The insite you provided about the inner workings of Amazon was very interesting...a very unique and fresh perspective...thanks for that.
So, yes I am good! I am still in travel mode but I just put a bunch of money on my credit card for car repairs, so I need to get back to work ASAP to get it paid off. I am hoping to have a job by the end of the month!
@@tobyintransit2533 That's great to hear... (I mean that you're focused on get that credit card knocked out) and that you'll be putting some money in your pocket! I have watched a few videos where you seem to miss Jax? Jacks?? When you drop him off to his (mother?) I'm still trying to figure that out.. is Jackson a puppy and someone has his maternal mother? And you drop him off from time to time?? Very confusing... at ANY RATE, if you enjoy the companionship of a dog, why not cut your losses with Jackson and just purchase your own dog?? I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a dog FREE on Craigslist, donated, or dirt cheap... I'm sorry, I'm overloading you with questions (I've sent like 8 or 6 questions in total) but I'm new to this channel and want to get caught up! I watched a (now famous) PBS special a few years back about a named Dick Proenneke who built (by hand) a cabin in Alaska and was self sufficient (until his 80s) and enjoy people who "beat the system" and have the ability to trade one freedom for another.. please review my questions and hopefully when you reply, I'll get a much better perspective.. Thanks. Be safe.. and keep being FREE!
Jim F So, Jax McGhee actually belongs to a friend of mine, who I always refer to as “Jax’s Mom”! She had a job in Europe for the summer so I took care of him for her. I may get a dog in the future, but there are some hurdles to overcome first. I worked in a town with a great doggie daycare place this summer, but not every place I work in the future is going to have that, so I need to figure out what i’d do in those cases. So, maybe! But until then i’m sure Jax will need a sitter from time to time!
In an upcoming video please address : 1) what you do to defend yourself, especially since you travel from state to state and states have different gun laws, not to mention state parks. 2) have you considered getting a small, U- Haul size trailer to free up some room inside the van?
Excellant idea video! Looks like temps are 60s-70s day and 30s-40s at night this time of year. What was the cost to visit? Do you have any of the applicable passes? Where did you stay?
Mike Mead It is a State Park so unfortunately the America the Beautiful pass doesn’t work. It was $10 for the day. They have a campground in the park, but it’s $35 a night! I think that does include entry, but more than I can afford either way. There is nothing close to the park on free campsites.net so I stopped by the Forest Service office on the way and they directed me to a dispersed area I could stay down near the river about 15 minutes away. It wasn’t a great spot because it’s also a fisherman’s access point so people park to fish. But it was fine and it was really pretty and it was nice having that close access to the park. The first three shots from the video were from camp
TobyInTransit, Thanks! The park’s website covered a bunch of state park passes, but none seemed to be camping deals. Heated showers caught my eye! $35 ouch! Yeah, a bit much. I got to use Forest Service offices more. Thanks again.
It was interesting watching a video were you didn't eat anything. I was surprised you didn't start gnawing on the tree bark. Why do children scream when your around?
